1 CATCHING A STAR [1]

JANUARY

Seojun tried to avoid looking a the reporters that blocked his way. Fortunately for him his bodyguards were there swat the annoying people away. He was also fortunate that the reporters weren't from the same company he was. Getting inside the van, he waited for his manager to scold him, which his manager did.

''You idiot!'' His manager snarled, hitting the celebrity with the cap he wore. He was furious when he got a call from the company about the celebrity's newest scandal. '' was is it too much to ask for you to complete the year without a scandal? Obviously, it is not. '' he proceeded to hit the younger which the younger let him. His manager has the right to hit him as a form of scolding.

''Yah bro'' the celebrity tried to block the cap that was hitting him when the hits got stronger. He tried to hold his manager's arm but failed as the older was swift. ''I didn't mean it this time ok! I just lost my cool''

Another video of him 'bullying' a trainee surfaced around the web. A lot of his fans were disappointed in him, thinking that he changed, Which he did. He already apologized to those he bullied and even sent them gifts any chance he could get. So he was in a puzzle with his latest scandal.

Aside from that, he also wondered why he was someone surrounded by trouble. Every year there would be this grand scandal that would somehow include his name. Even if he wasn't person-centered, his name would be brought up. His fans even joked about it, calling it 'Seojun's surprise scandal'.

Speaking of fans, he wondered why they were still there and growing. Despite his numerous scandals, his fans were still there to support him. In every drama, her would star in or photoshoot he would model, his fans would make sure to support him. Even the things he endorsed were sold out by his friends.

''Yah Seojun!'' He groaned when his manager hit his arm with his cap. Turning to the older, he showed a look. ''Are you even listening?''

''No'' he simply said but that was a wrong choice as that only earned him another hit. He, unfortunately, had to endure his manager's hitting until they reached the company building.

Jehyun made sure to look at his shared dorm before leaving. It was a fine Monday morning and he couldn't wait to meet his friends. But he dreaded the fact that he was his class' representative.

On his way, he caught a glimpse of Hana Academy, their rival school when it comes to private education. He really didn't get why the schools considered themselves rivals when they were just across each other. Students from his school would walk on the right side of the road while the students from Hana Academy walk on the left side of the road. And they have this stupid rule where they can't communicate or mingle with the students from the opposing side. If they were caught then they would be in big trouble. Students were also encouraged to not talk to each other even without the school seeing them. This caused the students from both schools to naturally hate each other.

Stepping inside his classroom, he was greeted with the sight of his friend, Wang Chen, who was busy annoying their other friend, Joshua. He smiled at Joshua who noticed his presence.

''Hey Josh'' he smiled at the older while he took his seat and placed down his bag, completely ignoring the other person. He didn't need to greet the other since he knew he would be the person who would be listening to the blabbering butterfly.

'' hey I'm here you know'' Chen jokingly hit Jehyun's shoulder, offended that his friend forgot about his fabulous existence. ''How can you forget a magnificent creature like me''

Jehyun responded with a snort. He doesn't know why but whenever his friend would compare himself to beautiful things he couldn't help but feel disgusted. Maybe it's because he isn't used to a man openly showing that he's gay.

He sighed as Chen started to talk about how the murder documentary he watched the previous night was the best thing he watched. Jehyun also begged to differ as the other would say the same thing after watching a murder documentary. He also wondered how someone who radiated rainbows loved something as murder documentaries.

''Don't you think so Joshua'' Chen asked their friend who was busy with his phone. Annoyed at the fact their attention wasn't on him, he leaned closer to Joshua before looking at his phone's screen. What he read made him scream bloody murder. ''Oh my gosh!''

Seojun didn't know how to respond when the news editor, Lianne, announced that he would be returning to high school in the meantime and serve this as punishment. He couldn't comprehend that he was going to hell.

''But noona'' he whined from his seat. He watched as the older female looked up from her papers. He pouted, ''why there? Why can't I go to America?''

Lianne frowned and gave him a look, letting go of the papers she was reading, she pushed herself and leaned at the back of her seat. Crossing her arms, ''so that you can cause trouble there? How about no''

He knew he didn't have a say about this. He was fortunate enough that it wasn't the CEO that told him this. He knew other than dropping the news that he would be going back to school, the CEO might end up threatening about exterminating his contract with the company and couldn't have that.

''But where am I going anyway?'' If he was going to school, he might as well know where. He waited for his noona to answer.

''Adams university'' she waited for his outburst but got none. Raising a brow, she then realized that the teen in front of her never went to a real school.

Since he started as a child actor and evolved, he never had the experience. But thanks to his co-trainees, he learned that the place was hell as he would say. But Lianne would want to differ. She doesn't want the younger to have that impression.

''This of this as a new experience'' she sighed, ''you'll just be there for one school year and after that, you can go back to normal. But if your new issue goes down faster and CEO might miss you then you should expect to be back sooner'' she wanted to assure the younger that he wasn't being abandoned by the company. She knew that the company wanted him to only have a fresh image and going to school was the only way to do it.

''But I didn't do it this time'' he whined, flopping on the couch. ''Promise. I learned from last time and the first time''

The first time was a horror for the celebrity and the company. He was working on a big drama but because of his bullying scandal, he almost lost the role. It was a good thing the detective was able to catch the person responsible for it.

''If you did then why did this happen?'' She scoffed and eyed the younger, ''Seojun promise me that this is the last time you're going to be in a scandal. I can't afford to always defend you from the CEO. You know what they are''

Of course, Seojun knew. After his first scandal, the CEO threatened to exterminate his contract. It was a good thing his noona was there to convince the CEO to change his decision. This went on but he knew if he caused one more trouble then he could say bye-bye to stardom.

''Think of this as an opportunity to meet new people. You haven't really bonded with people your age'' the woman reassured the younger who shrugged, ''hah—I know you are forced but I know you'll like it there. Who knows maybe you'd want to stay there for more than a year''
