A review of the records

"Please bring out object #12 please." I hate my job. I have to not only scavenge items, but I also have to investigate said items. Normally I wouldn't mind, but finding the stuff is dangerous most of the time. For example, the remains of the Mars research station were completely open to space. The entire station was decompressed! Not only that, there were several sharp objects floating around. One of them cut into someone's suit and the guy suffocated to death. Really dangerous stuff! Anyway, I got object #12 and examined it. It was an electronic tablet, with small claw marks on the screen. 'Weren't the recorders in the station automatic?' I thought. This wasn't what I thought it was. I turned it on thinking maybe there was something on it, and low and behold, there was data on it. Not video data, data that was recorded with text. 'Is this a journal?' I asked myself. I closely read the several pages of text and realized that it was a journal, or memoirs of one of the scientists. "Somebody get the authorities, I think we found our answer to the Mars station mystery!" I yelled out.
