Chapter 3 - Inspiration

"How about I try to become an Ayetuber?" Danial thought.

It was not that hard to become an Ayetuber. Create an account and channel. After that, upload a video and waited until someone watched it.

Even so, "It is easy to do that but it is super hard to gain views." Danial was a bit doubtful that he would do well if he took this path.

"If I do this as a side job, it will be manageable. I cannot give up on job hunting and I will keep uploading a video on Ayetube," he nodded as he felt this might not be a bad idea.

If he succeeded as an Ayetuber, he would follow through strongly. If he failed, he still had his job to cover it because he just did this as a side job.

"Also, I cannot continue applying to an architecture-related company. I will try for other types of companies. Many people work in different sectors with different qualifications. Let's not be too rigid."

Danial also decided to widen his net of job hunting. He could not keep his narrow view of only following what he studied at college.

He needed to widen them to other specializations. He might not be able to start at the front if he got into another sector but he could learn and slowly reach another height.

Now that he had more paths opened for him, he saw a lot of opportunities available for him.

Danial opened the job app on his phone and applied for other positions in many other companies. Even if the company was not related to architecture, he still sent his application.

Food Company, Clothing Company, Gaming Company, and many other companies with vacancies, Danial clicked on 'sent'.

If luck was on his side, he might land a good job. Even if he was unlucky and got an undesirable job, he would still do it. Once he accumulated enough experience, he would search for a better job.

After he was done with that, Danial planned for his Ayetuber side job. He had to plan properly or he would waste time creating and editing videos.

Danial scrolled through Ayetuber and surveyed what types of videos became popular.

"Hmm… They are all over the place. I cannot get any information by watching it like this," Danial scratched his head.

He decided to do the easiest method which was searching online.

"Popular Videos on Ayetube," Danial key in the words in the search space.

After that, many articles appeared giving out a list of popular videos on Ayetube. Sports, gaming, education, music, documentary, and many more were popular on Ayetube.

"Sports… I am not into sports and I don't want to show my face on the video. That means, this is not in my consideration," Danial started considering what he wanted to do for his video.

"Educational… Teaching architect-related knowledge? But there are many others of the same kind of videos there. I don't think I can do a better job than them."

"Games is a definite no. I rarely play games and all the games I play are the casual type. Those that become popular are the competitive games."

"Singing. I cannot sing at all and I don't have any talent in this area."

"Prank video? There are too many harmful pranks online and the harmless prank needs a lot of preparation. I am doing this as a side job, so, no!"

"Product review sounds good but… it will cost a lot of money. If my video is unpopular, I will not be able to cover the cost. Too risky."

"Reaction video. I don't want to show my face and I cannot do those exaggerated reactions. It is embarrassing!"

Danial rubbed his forehead. He did not know what he should do. The best bet was doing what he could do the best, teaching architect-related knowledge but he felt like he could not do better than what could already be found there.

He flopped on his futon and looked at the ceiling. He tried to rack his brain to search for inspiration. As nothing came to mind, he decided to continue watching videos.

Inspiration would not come when you force it. So, he decided to relax and waited for it.

He watched reaction videos, prank videos, music videos, skits, gaming videos, product reviews, and many more.

Finally, he came across animal documentary videos from the Animal Rescue channel, Ani-mentary Channel, and a few other super popular animal-focused channels.

As he was watching these videos, his recommended videos kept changing and they were now filled with animal-related videos including pet vlogs.

"Hmm?" Danial saw an interesting video.

[Invisible Wall Challenge]

He clicked on the video and there was an opening with a song introducing seven cats of different breeds. Each cat had their names but Danial could not remember any of them.

He knew the names but he did not know which cat had which name. Still, he continued watching because all the cats looked cute.

They looked well-fed and cared for. It looked like the owner of the cats loved the cats a lot. Their fur looked clean, same with their eyes and ears.

The cat owner did not show her face but she narrated the video.

"I saw a new viral challenge and today, we will try it!!! The invisible wall challenge!!!" the cat owner narrated excitedly.

After that, her figure appeared on the screen but her face was hidden. She started the setup for the challenge.

She pulled out a long plastic wrap and pasted it on a path blocking it. She did three more times to make sure the 'wall' was high enough.

After that, he checked to see if the 'wall' was sturdy too and fixed it at a few points for a bit.

Then the challenge started.

The owner let go of the first cat. An elegant gray cat started walking through the path. To make sure the cat walked past the wall, the owner tempted it with food.

The elegant gray cat was attracted by the food but she was an elegant cat. Thus, she did not rush to it. Like a model, she approached the food but soon realized that something was blocking the path.

The elegant gray cat walked from one side to another searching for a path, but there was none. She did not look annoyed but instead intrigued and curious.

She raised her paw and touched the invisible 'wall'. After a few touches, she managed to create a gap and happily jumped through it.

After that, a white cat was released. This white cat looked like a glutton. When he saw the food, the white cat rushed towards it and hit the wall.

The owner started laughing at her glutton cat. After a fierce fight with the 'wall', the white cat managed to destroy the wall and got his treat.

Then, she started releasing the rest of the cats one by one. Each of them had a different reaction to the wall, and Danial could not help but smile at their antics.

"This video is fun," Danial mumbled, and he continued watching other videos from this channel.

An hour later, Danial came to a realization.

"Making a cat video sounds like a good idea. I don't need to show my face, and the cats will be the main focus of the video."
