Chapter 8

"Oh hey Prez, funny we ran into each other, I wanted to talk to you." Debbie said in her annoying voice, I knew her voice was the most annoying sound on the planet, but today it sounded like nails scratching on a board, like the most unpleasant sound you would ever hear.

I swallowed, forcing my eyes away from Joseph, and look at her straight in the eyes. Because for some reason I was mad at Joseph, I didn't even want to look in his direction. Which was weird because he didn't do anything to me, just that time we bumped into each other, and it was my fault too, I didn't understand why I was mad.

"Yes Deborah?" I asked, using her full name, because I knew she didn't like it.

She glared for a full minute, but I looked away irritated, because I didn't understand why I felt the need to taunt her.
