"Well, I guess I'll start off by saying congratulations on figuring out how your respective powers grow and work," professor Klein said.

She had ended training early and taken Elliot and Sheree to her office for a meeting. She sat in an old, brown, leather chair behind her desk, as the two nervous 19 year olds stared at her from the other side of her desk. The hard, blue, plastic chairs they sat in weren't nearly as comfortable.

"Umm, thanks" Elliot said nervously. The thanks sounded more like a question than a statement.

"Seriously, this university effectively threw you two to the wayside and you found a way to prosper. So for that you have earned my respect. I took you on as students because I knew you could become stronger. Once I realized the struggle your bodies presented you with though I gave most of my attention to Albert. That wasn't right," Professor Klein said.

She was a black woman with silver creeping into her dark hair. She was slightly taller than Sheree but a lot shorter than Elliot. She wore glasses with leopard print on the plastic frames. She was probably in her late 50s or early 60s. Elliot tried to decide which one, as he stared at her.

"That all sounds nice, and messed up, but how much trouble am I in?" Sheree asked. Her tone was back to the robotic flatline Elliot was used to.

"That's why I started off the way I did. Im not punishing you for what happened today. Its honestly more my failure as an instructor, than your fault, that it occurred," Professor Klein answered and folded her hands.

"If we're really placing blame, it's my fault for attacking Just Josh earlier," Elliot said, feeling oddly guilty.

"It's my fault, for not preparing you to combat the compulsion to use your powers. The stronger you get, the more you will feel the urge to test your limits, you two weren't prepared to face that yet," Professor Klein said with finality in her voice.

"Cool, so we're off the hook? Time for me to go!" Elliot said and began to get out of the chair.

"Stay seated! You're not in trouble, but we do need to discuss your powers. I need a detailed, but please not explicit, account of how you got from the G9s you were a few days ago, to where you are now," Professor Klein said.

Sheree, being the more detail oriented of the two, took the lead on the explanation. She started with their solo trip to the woods, and worked forward in time until the training session they had just left. She did mention having to heal Elliot with physical touch that led to a rank up. She just didn't specify how much touching was involved or where the touches were placed. When she was done Professor Klein had a hand on her chin. She was enraptured by the story and clung to every word.

"So if I'm understanding your..... dynamic, you two aren't actually gaining any new energy. It seems like your bodies were storing the energy they couldn't convert, and when you two finally..... connected, they began to process that stored energy," Professor Klein said.

"So is that good or bad?" Elliot asked, his brow furrowed in confusion.

"It means that when we train, its not actually a waste of time. We just have to convert the energy we gather a different way than other people do," Sheree said.

"Oh so that's why we.....," Elliot stopped abruptly when Sheree stepped on his foot as hard as she could.

"I wonder if there are any other side effects of this unusual cultivation process?" Professor Klein said aloud to herself.

Sheree wanted to answer that she suspected that it came with a deep yearning for the other person, but she kept that to herself. Side effect or not, she was getting antsy. She had an overwhelming urge to stick Elliots hand down her pants. Would the Professor notice? There was no way she could see through the wooden desk between them, right?Would Sheree be willing to try something like that? The thought turned her on. She had to remember to ask Elliot later what he thought about that. Her next thought scared her to her very soul. Professor Klein is a mind reader, she heard all of this. Sheree felt her face flush with heat as the thought crossed her mind. She looked up at the professor slowly. The older woman was looking down at her desk, seemingly lost in thought. She mumbled something to herself as she contemplated whatever had captured her thoughts.

"Umm Professor?" Elliot said. The silence had lasted too long for him.

"Oh, you two are dismissed. If anything strange happens, as far as your development goes, please let me know. Also I fully expect you both to be at every training session from now on," Professor Klein said as Sheree and Elliot stood up.

"Professor, can you read minds?" Sheree asked. She looked like she had seen a ghost.

"Not quite, I can hear the residual echoes of your loudest thoughts. Even then i can only listen when the situation calls for it," Professor Klein said.

"So were you listening for those echoes just now?" Elliot asked. He didn't Know that Professor Klein had any powers, the thought freaked him out.

"No, should I have?" Professor Klein asked and stared at Elliot with wide eyes. She was joking but Elliot got so panicked he tripped over his chair as he ran out of her office.

Sheree followed behind laughing at his antics.

They walked through across the campus together in silence, their minds in 2 completely different places. Elliot thought about what it would take to become strong enough to beat Just Josh in a fight. Sheree could think of nothing more than what she wanted Elliot to do to her when they got back to their room.

"Hey wanna go grab some dinner?" Elliot asked as they passed the cafeteria building.

Sheree wanted to say I have something you can eat, but instead she just nodded her head. They walked into the cafeteria and Sheree spotted Albert immediately. He was sitting in the rear of the room talking to a chubby girl with dazzling blue hair.

"Are you thinking about apologizing to him?" Elliot asked, noticing her staring at Albert.

Are you thinking about licking my.... Sheree shook her head to clear the thought she just had.

"No, I need more time," she said quietly.

They walked into the line and grabbed red rectangular trays to put their food on.

"You see anything you want?" Elliot asked as he surveyed the different foods laid out before them.

Sheree couldn't wait much longer. She didn't know why the need was so strong, but she really didn't care.

"Come here," she said and gestured with her hand for Elliot to lean in close to her.

"Yeah what's up?" Elliot asked, slightly suspicious.

"I desperately need to have an orgasm," Sheree said in his ear. For emphasis she bit his earlobe when she was done speaking.

Elliot didn't need to hear more, he grabbed 2 meals that were wrapped to take out and paid before taking her by the hand and leading her back to their room.
