194 Epilogue: The Quiet Universe

Fight! Using the artifact, FIGHT!

'Oh man.....what the hell happened...'

As a wave of energy pulsed out of the Aquarian explorer, he dropped down onto the ground gasping for air. He had traveled to this remote planet in search of a legendary lost treasure, and what he came across was a near death experience.

All that effort for a...hammer?

Picking it up and slamming it in the ground, he created a mapping of the entire planet all of a sudden.

'Just what is...'

Why is everything so dark all of a sudden.

Looking up into the night sky of the planet with a surprisingly thin atmosphere, the majority of the universe had no stars. All that remained illuminating are the stars of the known galaxies. However, everywhere else was nothing but...pitch black.

It was quiet, and eerily empty.

Rubbing his eyelids and peeling away the layers of his Aquarian Exoskeleton, he tried to make sure what he is seeing is real, but it is real.

All of the stars in the known galaxies are exactly as where they were, but everything else....everything else that they saw through the barrier at the bounds of space....it's all gone.

The universe is dark and quiet, and the three galaxies are the only place with any light.

'CHIEF CELLICA!' Her new personal assistant ran through the door way and nearly crashing into a service droid. Instead, she hurdled over it and made a sharp turn into the grandiose room, 'are you.....'

Right there standing by the window, Cellica's body stood still as she looked on beyond the boundary for the first time, and the great beyond.

Except...there was nothing in the great beyond.

Looking down at her personal interface, a message from Zero appeared.

'What is happening, chief?' The assistant asked, 'where are all the...'

'I don't know, kid.' Cellica said, placing a finger on her own reflection on the window, 'perhaps we have broken reality as we know it, or perhaps it has been like that all this time.....'

'Regardless, it's time to get to work.' Taking off the personal interface from her wrist, a message from Zero remained.

'DID YOU SEE...THE GREAT BEYOND...'
