But just as he started to absorb the spirit ring he found out that the spirit ring age was almost three thousand in which it already exceeded the limit for the third spirit ring, knowing that absorbing a spirit ring that exceeded the limit can kill him tao tried to stop the absorbtion prosest even it mean it will give an injury.

Tell me why!!!!" said tao father dead body in a chilling and mad voice toward tao, hearing the question tao let out a tear and said in a little voice "sorry, dad" as he close his eyes.

Hours later tao was done absorbing the spirit ring and acquired a new ability, tao looked toward the sky and saw that it was already night so he get up and prepared to go back to the city, as if everything that just happened never happen.

"hahahaha good good good finally l found a solution for the weakness of my second spirit rin-" he was interupted as he feel a searing pain from his back, he feel as if someone brandishing countless Hot metal to his back, suddenly a flaming wing appeared on his back it have a feather made of fire while it patagium amd wrist was made of something similar to a smelted hot iron.

Looking at his back tao was shocked "did the variant flame pegasi resentment turn into a curse and give me a wing?" but after sensing that the wing did nothing to him and he can even control it albeit no fluently he became relaxed "can this wing make me fly?"

Without hesitation tao flapped the wing and tried to fly, and it did make him fly but it was only a meter high before he falls down "controling this wing is hard, l need more training if l want to control these wing, but before that l need to go back to the city and can these wing be hidden?, let's try"

Tao controled the wing and forced it to retract it self and suprisingly it was easy to retract it but it cost him almost a third of his essence, after he was done he left to the city.
