7 fourth ring

Two years later all of tao spirit essence finally broke through Level forty "all of my spirit essence finally broke through past level forty and hu mao now seem willing to have a spirit ring, with hu mao in addition l need to get three spirit ring this time around, anyway now is the time to get a new spirit ring as for the spirit for my land of harvest l will think about it later"

Tao then left for flender office, in the office he meet with flender that was reading book. Flender looked toward tao that just came in.

"what is it, do you need something?" said flender in a slightly angry tone, ever since flender found out tao profit from selling his crop and plant flender become easily irritable when tao was mentioned or every time he meet tao. Looking at the irritated flender, tao let out a helpless smile.

"dean l just broke throught level forty and have to go search for my fourth spirit ring, so l will take a leave for a few day also l need the teacher to accompany me as l was already familiar with the star dou forest"

Hearing tao purpose flender was shocked, but when he heard that tao want to go alone in order to search for his spirit ring he frowned, but in the end he agreed to let tao go alone 'l don't know what kind of secret you have but l will believe in you that you can go back safely'

After getting flender permission tao brought all the thing he needed and went to star dou forest Alone.

In the outer perimeter of stardou forest, a youth and a fat cat spirit beast on his shoulder can be seen, the youth and the spirit beast was tao and hu mao and it's been a few day since they arrived at the star dou forest, yet they still loating around the forest the reason being was because hu mao want to be the first to get a spirit ring and right now the both of them was searching for the right spirit beast for hu mao.

Tao can't take it anymore as he was worried about his farm but he then remembered that he didn't plant anything and there was nothing left on his farm beside some tree that don't have fruit after getting it all plucked and sold because he want to go for this trip, but still loitering for a few days aimlessly in the forest tao rather prefer to farm instead, can't take it anymore taot tried to persuade hu mao when suddenly hu mao used his paw and pointing toward the front.

Without hesitation tao moved toward where hu mao pointed and not long after tao arrived near a mount where he saw a spirit beast at the top of the mount, the spirit beast have a lion body with red fur, bat wing, scorpion tail, and mane that seem to be made out of fire.

Tao looked at the spirit beast and said "a rare flame manticore" but then he noticed that the flame manticore have a horn in the middle of it head "a variant flame manticore? But how come all the variant l meet always have a horn on their head and have the attribute of fire like the flame pegasi from two years ago"

Tao then looked at hu mao that looked at the variant flame manticore with a sparkling eyes and he even let out a drool from it tiny mouth, tao looked at hu mao and know for sure that he want to eat spirit because that was the only expression hu mao make when he saw something he deem delicious, tao don't know wheter to laugh or cry asked hu mao.

"mao do you want to eat him or do you want it spirit ring, which one is it?"

Hu mao without even looking at tao merely nodded, sighing tao put hu mao down and summoned his guan dao and started to attack the variant flame manticore.

"mao stay here and don't go anywhere okay? I will go and kill that flame manticore"

Hu mao merely nodded and started to lay down on the ground while his gaze never left the variant flame manticore, sighing at the spectacle tao just leave and confronted the variant flame manticore.

"because l still have many other business, l will make this fast"

Tao willed the horse to step on air as he moved closer toward the variant flame manticore. the flame manticore was violent by nature at the same they are also very territorial, so when the variant flame manticore noticed tao it become violent and jumped from the mount to attack the incoming tao.

Tao slashed his guandao toward the approaching variant flame manticore which the beast evaded easily thank to it wing, when the variant flame manticore evaded tao slashes, tao used his land of harvest spirit essence ability 'third spirit ring ability sprouting seed' as four seed appeared in his hand.

After evading tao slashes the variant flame manticore tried to let out a fire breath, when suddenly tao throw something toward his direction. Tao throw the seed toward the manticore when it saw the manticore tried to let out a fire breath.

*pop pop pop pop*

As the four seed pop out and grow bigger rapidly as it become a giant trees, while it root entangled the variant flame manticore to the ground and make it impossible to move. Taking the chance tao swiftly killed the variant flame manticore before it can struggle or burn the trees using it ability.

After killing the variant flame manticore tao brought hu mao before looking at the spirit ring that come out from the variant flame manticore, looking at the black spirit ring that appeared from the corpse of variant flame manticore, tao shake his head as he looked toward the drooling hu mao 'who would have thought that the variant flame manticore would be a ten thousand years old beast, if not for my quick wittedness l can't easily kill this beast without sustaining some heavy injury, but can l absorb it? It shouldn't be a problem if hu mao choose it'

Tao then absorb the spirit ring while hu mao started eating the carcase of the variant flame manticore. A few hours later tao was done absorbing the spirit ring while hu mao was beside him sleeping after eating the variant flame manticore whole and only leaving a spirit bone.

Tao looked at the sleeping hu mao then toward where the variant flame manticore supposed to be only to saw a lone red bone that resembled a mask, tao looked at the mask and was in disbelief "sku... Sku... Skull spirit bone, it was a skull spirit bone hahaha hu mao you really are my lucky star, my lucky star" without hesitation tao fused with the spirit bone.
