161 – The Night of Answers – Part 5 –

Lucian looked at the figures in the distance and sliced down decapitating a body then with his sword, he picked up the head and tossed it towards them in an open challenge.

"Well who'll be next?!" he asked, his voice humming in excitement that was clear for all to hear.

But right at that moment a series of arrows came piercing through the wind and as if the enemies were nothing but balloons of blood they started to explode one after the other.

The arrows tore through the enemies each arrow was taking at least two people with it and turning them into torn corpses that were strewn across the rooftops while some pieces rained down on the streets below.

A few seconds later a woman clad in the royal armour of the Umbars appeared next to Lucian and Vero with a large bow of intricate design held across her body, the bow was taller than even Vero who stood at close to 7 feet tall.
