3 Chapter 02: Friends

Melody laid her head in her right palm and listen attentively to the discussion, right now if anyone could see her probably wouldn't recognize her right away as she looked less elegant and goddess-like posture

Melody wears a pink T-shirt combine with a black jumper short and black cap with her split into two braided styled hair.

"Ski-fo...food, tha...that's a good name! We ca..can also add a mo..motto like 'Sky is the li...limit to new di..dishes'." said our painter friend, Mèng will be in charge of the various paintings and necessary art display

Outsiders might think she was cold or shy because she won't talk with just anyone other than us since she has a lisp disorder since her childhood and often bullied/Maltreated so she became distant to other people.

"Great idea xiao meng! The motto also complementing the restaurant's name and seems to be eye-catching." Kaori commented while typing in her phone busily.

"What food shall we serve then? Sweets and some few dishes only? What about we try snacks and cold drinks too??" I suggest while looking at them expectantly, almost spilled my droll in the table.

Everyone roll they're eyes at me and I just pouted.

"What? Food is life ya' know!" I said complaining

"Guys, sorry for waiting for here's a snack to pass our time while discussing," Yue said while placing plate after plate of brownish food in a stick in different sizes with 3 sauces to dip (Vanilla, chocolate and barbeque sauce) place in the plate directly so no one would choose to dip randomly.

"I also make your favorite, strawberry shortcake" Yue smilingly said after coming back from the kitchen bringing the strawberry shortcake.

It's different from the other strawberry shortcake because Yue's Strawberry shortcake has to be cooked in a deep-fry before it can be served.

See, food is life! Very interesting to see different styles to cooked but the same ingredients.

Creativity and art are both added to make it tastier.

"just like melody said we already think of that possibility, coz how we deserve to be called ski-foodie with the limit of the sky if we are set only in two things? So we decided to separate the shop into 5 parts, Restaurant, Cafe, Bar, dance floor, and skateboard/skate shoes ring to prevent the people from mixing and aggravating the foodies with different hobbies." Penne said seriously while twirling her blonde curled hair

Penelope is a B-list actress, even though she was only B-lister for us she is the best actress. She maybe lowkey now but after her problems in life solve she will be like an eagle spread her wings mightly in the sky.

"That's food... I hmmm good, they'll surely love this idea" I said feeling happy about our business plan.

"You only know how to eat," said Ah-Rem while chewing her cheesy jalapeño dogs, One of the Yue's snack recipes. It was a hot dog rolled in cheese and mixed with the usual recipe, Yue added a secret recipe and fried it until golden brown.

Ah-Rem Min was a top-rated designer, leading her elite team and running an independent studio until she became well-known. We aren't that close when we first time we met, but when it comes to clothes were even closer than Kaori (my best friend) like a turtle and the house in its back inseparable.

"So mean!" I pouted, picked a stick of strawberry shortcake and bit it.

While everyone is discussing happily and giving their suggestion, with few banter and teasing. I finally understand why Meisha and Leaifa wanted to establish a business together.

First its restaurant, second when there is a restaurant there is food, third a lot of people's income usually for food, and fourth food is life. In short the top 1 successful business in the world if not technology then it would be food the basic needs of humans beside air. Lol!

Anyway, the most important part of us establishing a business is not about this, nor about money, but the planning we enjoy together even in our busy schedules. Finding time to enjoy and solve things together just like when we first become friends in Highschool/University.

Laughing, eating and helping each other in times of need.

Having friends in your life to share your happiness, sadness, and reminiscing memories together is a blessing itself.

The times spending with friends can't just be brought and built with just money, so spending time like this is as precious as the whole world...

After the long day of painstaking excessive care in considering every fine detail on the future restaurant.

We spot a place that we think perfect to build it in, We decide who's architect will decide for layout, to publicity/announcement, to goods/supplier, and the add employee beside us.

Yeah, we decided that we will take part in everyday business. We will take turns being a waitress or bartender, so starting next week while the restaurant is being built we will learn how the proper handling of those sorts of mixing and blending drinks.

We also added some unique way of serving, all employees will wear roller skates, single wear roller shoes for starters or heavy weighted employee, or we can use Strauss street roller for those skinny and less heavy than the normal weight if he/she doesn't pick up how to use the standard roller skate.

Every employee should be taught how to use it, even the chef and bartender helper should practice it together with us before the business is ready for the public.

We also split the task to complete, before the business start. Ah-rem would be responsible for a costume together with Kaori, Me and xiao meng for interior design, cups, plates, tables and chairs to be used.

Meisha and Micho are to find a good plantation and herding farm. Maze and Yue will responsible for choosing employees from cooks, bartender, barista, Dj's, Waiter to guards.

Picking employees should be a piece of cake! Since Maze is a leader of the ace investigation team of the FBI.

Leafa and penne would be responsible for publicity and for distributing allocating design for entrance token since we decided to make it private whom only token holders can enter.

We can't just distribute it randomly to young misses and young masters out there! We will pick the customer wisely whom we think worthy of being a customer, whether he/she owns a business, heir of a wealthy family or a normal citizen. As long as your a member with proof token and identity inside it, then you can enjoy a discount at everything.

The token holder can bring 2-3 person but their drinks and food are to pay with the normal price of the goods outside, Walk-in customers would have to pay the entrance fee and wait in the lobby if his identity is valid to enter. It's not that we suspect walk-in but safety our token holders are the top priority!

After everything is being allocated, the group decided to enjoy the night in the club near where their meeting place took place.

As Ah-rem is with us, surely she brings her mini-motor house which packed of latest and designer clothes from the one she designs to her favorite shop brand.

Since we are friends everyone decided in secret to take advantage of her again, seeing our intention after picking whatever we want. Ah-ream runs after us bringing laughter and pleas in the night as she beat us.
