#Chapter 19 More mistakes

I threw the phone away from me as if that would separate me from what I was doing. My wide eyes locked on him as he stomped across the small space and grabbed the little phone off the floor.

Flames erupted from his hands as he turned the small thing to dust right in front of my eyes.

“I—“

Dylan’s murderous eyes silenced me. The blue had faded into pure black as he took a step towards me.

“What the fuck were you just doing?” He asked again, but I knew he didn’t expect an answer from me. At least not an honest one.

He crossed the room in a blink and hauled me off the floor. I winced from his tight grip, but he didn’t even bother to loosen it.

“You were trying to call for help, weren’t you?” He hissed in my face. Tears dripped from my eyes, but I couldn’t say a thing. “What don’t you understand? You made me a promise to stay at my side. You belong to me.”
