I Miss You

"Mama, is there enough space in your luggage for this?"  She brought in a box wrapped in dark blue silk. Her mother was packing for her travel back home. Autumn was fast approaching and she doesn't want to spend winter in Berlin. 

According to her, she can no longer handle the cold weather, that's why she would fly back to the Philippines, where it is summer all year long. 

"What is it?" she asked without looking up. She was folding her clothes and making sure that every square inch of her suitcase was filled efficiently. 

"It's a gift for nii-san." she casually handed the gift to her mother. She averted her mother's questioning gaze. 

"May I know what's inside? So, I would know where to put it in my luggage." 

"It's a bottle of whiskey."
