58 Su Bai

"Yeah, you lost. Go fetch your tent." Xiao Yu pointed to the readied tent at the side.

"No, I won't. I demand a rematch!" Wang Shu argued.

"What? Don't be a coward. It's just sleeping at the tent."

"I—"

"And it's a fair match. Look at Shao Wei, you're okay with it right?" Xiao Yu cut off Wang Shu and asked Shao Wei.

"I'm fine with it." Shao Wei nodded.

Wang Shu wants to cry but had no tears. No one here is on my side!

The team now proceed to enter the inn, leaving Wang Shu and Shao Wei behind with their tent. They're already adults, they can handle themselves.

The inn was a 3 story building and was simply decorated with white and some blue colors making it cozy and homey.

Upon entering, they are welcomed in a hallway with a reception desk at the front. They were greeted by a young man with a pleasing smile, he was wearing a white shirt with the logo of their inn.

"Welcome to the Tian Ji Inn, are you Ms. Xiao Yu?" he asked while smiling, making those who are speaking with him relax and smile back.

"Yes, I am. Are the rooms ready?" Xiao Yu asked she was hot surprised that someone knew her because she specifically gave a heads up to the inn owner that they will arrive today.

"Yes, they are all ready. Here are the keys. The gold key is for the Gold Room, the Silver key is for the Silver Room and lastly, the Bronze keys is for the Bronze rooms." The young man handed the keys to Xiao Yu and added, " My name is Su Bai, if you need anything, you can always approach me."

Xiao Yu accepted the keys, "Su Bai? Are you related to Su Lin?"

"He's my father."

"Oh, so you're his son! Nice to meet you!" Xiao Yu smiled, Su Lin was the owner of this inn and has some connection with her parents that's why she was able to make a reservation in this inn.

"Nice to meet you too. Do you need any help with your things?"

"No, no, we can manage. Thank you"

Xiao Yu turned to the other members and passed the respective keys to them. The gold room was the best room they have in his inn follower by the Silver room and Bronze room as the most common room.

Following their places on their little competition, of course, the best room was delegated to Zhao Lin and Feng Qiao and so on and so forth.

All of them bid their farewells and proceed to their respective rooms, it was already late at night and all them just want to lay down and get a good night rest.

On the hallway, Feng Qiao was left as he was still waiting for Zhao Lin to fetch some of his things he left with Wang Shu outside.

While standing, Feng Qiao finally realized the dilemma that he was facing right now.

It suddenly dawned on him that he has to spend the night with Zhao Lin...

.....in one room.

Just the two of them.

Feng Qiao felt his breath sped up, what should he do? Can he keep his calm throughout this night?

As Feng Qiao was pondering over his dilemma, Su Bai approached him.

"Hi, Do you need help with your things?"

Feng Qiao was startled, "ah, no, I can manage."

Su Bai smiled widely, his beautiful white teeth exposed, "I am Su Bai, you are?"

"Feng Qiao." Feng Qiao answered although he was bewildered at why would he ask him this.

"Is this your first time in here?" Su Bai asked.

"Uh yes."

" It's great that you chose this place, there are so many things you can do and explore. Once you wake up tomorrow you'll be able to see the magnificent sea at the other side of this inn."

"Really? I can't wait!" Feng Qiao's eyes were sparkling, this is the first time on a beach and with his friends at that! He was very excited!

Su Bai chuckled and said, his voice was expectant. "If you don't mind... I can give you a tour tomorrow."

Feng Qiao blinked, "Uh—"

Feng Qiao was cut off because, at this time, Zhao Lin entered, who is confused seeing Feng Qiao happily talk with this stranger.

Left behind in the hallway was Su Bai who was still looking at where Feng Qiao disappeared to.

His previous confident smile disappeared, instead, it was replaced by a shy and dreamy expression. His ears reddened as he placed his hand on his chest, where his heart was beating wildly.
