57 Can I hold your hand?

Dark hazel eyes met a pair of black eyes.

Feng Qiao swallowed hard and tried to calm himself down, avoiding looking at that mesmerizing dark hazel pair of eyes.

With a faint blush on his face, Feng Qiao hurriedly separated himself from Zhao Lin, "I-I'm fine. Thank you."

"You should be more careful next time." Zhao Lin reminded. He then turned his flashlight downwards to look for what tripped Feng Qiao.

Feng Qiao also followed Zhao Lin's line of sight and he was instantly stunned, "This... Is the signage?"

On the other side of the Forest, Wang Shu and Shao Wei were walking side by side with a flashlight on each of their hands.

In this dark forest, only the sounds of their footsteps could be heard which makes the atmosphere even creepier like a scene from a horror movie.

Wang Shu kept imagining the scenes from the movie he watched before where the Main characters were trapped in a creepy forest like this and then someone would suddenly appear behind—

"Are you okay?"

"Shit!"

Wang Shu jumped in fright when Shao Wei suddenly whispered beside his ear. His expression was full of fear but he was positioned like he was ready to punch someone.

Upon seeing that it was only Shao Wei, Wang Shu relaxed.

"Shit Shao Wei! Don't whisper suddenly on my ear like that!"

Wang Shu cursed repeatedly under his breath. That almost shock him to death ah!

Shao Wei was about to laugh but seeing Wang Shu glaring at him, he coughed to hide his laugh.

"Don't you dare laugh!"

"Cough cough, I am not." Shao Wei looked sideways, his mouth was pursed, it was obvious that he was trying his best not to laugh.

Shao Wei already knew Wang Shu's fear of ghost and any dark and creepy places however, Wang Shu doesn't like to show it to others and would always act tough.

"Just so you know, I am not really afraid okay? I was just surprised. I've already experienced this kind of things many times...."

See? He was acting tough again. He bet that Wang Shu was blabbering those things to distract himself from his fear.

Shao Wei laughed in his heart, he couldn't help it, Wang Shu acting tough even though he could clearly see his slightly trembling hands is just too cute.

"Hey, are you listening?" Wang Shu asked.

"Yeah, I am listening." Shao Wei smiled and then put out his hand in front of Wang Shu.

"What?"

"You are experienced in this kind of things than me. I am slightly scared so...

Can I hold your hand?"

Wang Shu gaze trailed from Shao Wei's face onto his hand, he hesitated for a moment before reaching out his slightly trembling hand to hold Shao Wei's.

"Cough... Since you are scared, I will hold your hand."

Wang Shu said. He couldn't possibly say to Shao Wei that he was also scared too right? It's a good thing that Shao Wei asked to hold his hand, it also made him feel secure and not alone in this creepy forest.

Shao Wei smiled to himself, in this kind of moments he could feel the perks of Wang Shu being an airhead. He bet that Wang Shu totally believed what he just said, unaware of the hidden motives within it.

But it was also kind of a burden on him as they were already together for years and Wang Shu doesn't have a single clue on his feelings.

He doesn't plan to confess them though.

He knew Wang Shu for years, they were together since high school, he knew how he thinks and act, his likes and dislikes, his habits and quirks.

That's why he knew that there's no point in him telling him his feelings. Wang Shu doesn't like guys.

Shao Wei shook his head to take away these thoughts. He then looks at Wang Shu and smiled, "Let's go?"

Wang Shu nodded, he also got a new sense of urgency as he remembered that they would end up in a tent if they came last.

Imagining himself sleeping just beside this creepy forest makes Wang Shu shudder.

"Let's go! We have to hurry and find those directions!"

Not just them, but all of the pairs are doing their best to find those directions and arrive earlier than others, no one wants to be the last one who'll end up sleeping in a tent.

After a while, everyone finally got the direction to arrive at the inn.

Now, only one question remains: Who will win?

Feng Qiao and Zhao Lin!

Second place was Xiao Yu and her partner. After them was the other members and of course, the lucky last place was...

"What? We're the last place?! It can't be!" Wang Shu shouted.

Him? Sleeping in a tent beside the creepy forest?

There's no way that's happening!
