16 Invasion

The next day, 1-A went through another English and Physics class before lunch. After lunch, the class was sitting in homeroom, waiting for Aizawa.

The class talking amongst themselves, mostly about random school stuff, while Izuku was going over the proposed class officers. Having gone to bed so early, he missed grabbing everyone's votes, leaving Momo to the responsibility. He apologized over and over for having her do it, but she understood. She had inquired into his special training, and after showing her his new found ability, she offered to let him try with her quirk. He agreed to try later in the week, as 4 new quirks, even replicated, was tiring enough.

Aizawa shuffled in after the bell rang.

"Today's basic hero training is special. Today, All Might, myself and another teacher will supervise."

She pulled out a card. [RESCUE]

"Rescue training to prepare you for disaster relief, from fires to floods, and everything in between."

Kaminari spoke up, "Rescue eh? Sounds like another rough day."

Mina nodded her agreement, "Right!"

Eiko said, "Come on, this is what being a hero's all about! I'm pumped!"

"I'd be right at home in a flood. Ribbit," came from Tsu.

"Hey I'm not done," Aizawa said looking around the class, "It's up to each of you whether or not you wear your costumes. Not all of them are suited for this activity."

"Yeah, except Midoriya's! His is ready for anything!" Hanta called out.

Izuku scratched the back of his head, and smiled.

Aizawa regarded the greenette, "This training is taking place at a remote site on campus, so we'll go by bus. Class Rep, prep the class and meet at the bus in 5 minutes."

Aizawa finished and shuffled out of the room.

Izuku stood up, and walked to the front of the class, and made sure all eyes were on him.

"Alright everyone, grab your gear if you want, go change, and then meet downstairs. 5 minutes, make it snappy."

Everyone nodded and got up to get their gear. Izuku grabbed his large case, and followed Ochako down to the locker rooms.

After changing, they met up at the bus. Iida suggested a seating arrangement based on ID numbers, but Izuku chuckled and let him know that the bus was an open floor plan. Izuku and Momo ordered everyone onto the bus, Aizawa making note of how fast the students responded to their leadership.

'Does Midoriya really have that much sway over them? Interesting.'

After everyone was on board, Izuku did a head count.

"Do you really need to do a headcount?" asked Tsuyu, tongue out, head cocked to the side.

"Better to do things right the first time, than to make a mistake and have to spend more time fixing it." Izuku said smiling down at her.

She smiled back up at him and nodded.

He took the seat behind Aizawa who had dozed off.

And then they were off.

"Midoriya, I generally say what's on my mind." Tsuyu said bluntly to him.

"Yeah, I kinda figured that out, Asui. He chuckled.

"Call me Tsuyu."

"Alright, Tsuyu. What did you want to talk about?"

"Your quirk. It's a bit odd. It's still getting more and more powerful. Do you think you might end up being stronger than All Might?"

Izuku stared at her for a second, and did a quick glance around. The whole class was watching and listening now.

"Well, funny you should mention that. I actually got to meet All Might before school, a couple of years back. He was impressed when I saved Kacchan from a villain, and he offered to have one of his old trainers train me and Kacchan for a couple of years before coming here. Toshinori-sensei said that in a couple of years, I'll be even stronger than All Might. So, right now, I'm not really sure."

"Stronger than All Might? Are you sure?" Eiko looked concerned at that thought.

"Yeah, Kirishima. Apparently, All Might got to see a couple of my training sessions and agreed with my sensei's evaluation. I mean, you know about the entrance exam. Even All Might can't vaporize a robot."

He turned to Tsuyu again.

"My quirk keeps improving because that's what part of it is. It stockpiles power, continually getting stronger and stronger. At some point, I will pass All Might. I hope that I'm worthy of replacing him though. I want people to look at my smile and know that everything will be fine. I'm working towards being the best. Just like everyone else here."

Everyone had resolute and confident smiles on their faces at that.

The bus stopped outside a huge grey building, and Aizawa stood up.

"We're here. Look sharp."

Izuku lead the class off of the bus, and stared at the huge building, massive letters adorning the wall above the door.

USJ

"Universal Studios Japan?" called out Denki and Mina at the same time.

Izuku stopped and turned to look at them, an incredulous look on his face.

"Seriously?"

"Well duh, no not really. Geez, Midori, lighten up!" Mina said with a smirk and a wink.

He turned back and chuckled, shaking his head.

The front door opened and a figure wearing a space suit walked out.

Thirteen, the Space Hero, in all of her glory.

Izuku smiled broadly as he looked down at Ochako.

She was positively vibrating with excitement. "Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh."

"DEKU, IT'S THIRTEEN!" she whispered loudly to him.

He chuckled and nodded, his own face splitting into a large grin as the hero stopped in front of them.

"Welcome to the Unforeseen Simulation Joint! There a Flood Zone, Landslide Zone, Conflagration Zone, and many other areas. I designed this place to test and train for every disaster and accident you can imagine. Now, let's go inside."

She turned and started to walk inside, Aizawa walking next to her.

"No All Might?"

"He's resting in the Teacher's lounge. He reached his limit on his commute this morning."

"That man is the height of irrationality."

Izuku was the only one who overheard the conversation, and caught Aizawa's glance back at him.

He nodded slightly, the unspoken word passing between them.

'Be ready for anything.'

He turned to look over his classmates, and satisfied everyone was moving towards the doors, he turned back.

As they entered, the massive arena of the USJ was laid out in front of them.

On the right, the Squall Zone, then the Flood Zone, then the Rapids Zone, the Conflagration Zone, the Mountain zone, the Landslide Zone, and the Earthquake Zone, all circling the Central Plaza with a fountain and benches in the center.

As he scanned around, taking in the sights, Avalonn popped up the display.

'Battery is full, boss, the reactor is showing 100% output, and self test of each piece of equipment is complete.'

'Thanks for the update, Avalonn.'

'Can do, boss.'

As they reached the end of the entrance, Thirteen and Aizawa turned to face the class.

"Before we begin, I have one or two points, maybe three, to cover," Thirteen said she counted on her gloved fingers.

"As I'm sure many of you are aware, my quirk is called Black Hole. It can suck in and tear apart anything."

Izuku chimed in, excitedly, "And you've used it to save people from all sorts of disasters."

Ochako nodded fervently in agreement.

"Indeed," Thirteen said, "However, my power could easily kill. I've no doubt there are some among you with similar abilities."

Izuku felt 21 pairs of eyes fall on him as she said that. True, his power was overwhelming, and if he hadn't trained for years to control it, it could have caused serious problems. Not to mention the death toll if he lost control.

"In our super-powered society," Thirteen continued, "the use of quirks is heavily restricted and monitored. It may seem that this system is a stable one. But we must never forget that it only takes one wrong move with an uncontrollable quirk for people to die."

Aizawa was staring right at him now. He could feel the others eyes on him again.

'Lots of love, eh, Avalonn?'

'She's not wrong, boss. If we did the math with your power, you could easily level an entire city quickly. Training to control your power is paramount.'

"During Aizawa's Physical Fitness Test, you proved and learned of your own hidden potential, some, more than others."

Ochako grinned up at Izuku at that.

"Through All Might's Battle Training, you experienced the danger that your respective quirks can pose to others."

Eiko and Katsuki shared a look, before Eiko blushed a little, and Katsuki pulled his focus forward.

"This class will show you a new perspective! You will learn how to utilize your quirks to save lives. Your powers are not meant to inflict harm. I hope you leave here today with the understanding that you're meant to help people!"

The whole class felt the enthusiasm from the Space Hero, and confident, ready smiles flashed onto their faces.

"That is all! Thank you for listening!"

Iida clapped while saying, "Bravo, Bravo!"

Aizawa followed up, "Great, now that's out of the way, the first thing…"

A dark purple spark shimmered and grew in the courtyard by the fountain.

'Boss! Detecting a high powered energy signature coming from the courtyard! And I've lost connection to the outside! Something's blocking the signals. We're cut off!'

Izuku felt it too. A huge amount of energy, surging in from the spark.

He stared as the spark grew into a mist that spread into a wide oval.

A hand poked out of it, followed by a mop of long light blue hair, and another hand, with an eye behind it.

"It's time to kill. The Symbol of Peace will be no more."

[Status Update] Error: Connection terminated. AVALONN Connection Offline.

Mei looked up from her plans as the computer beeped at her.

"Offline? But, that's not supposed to happen. Hm..."

Mei looked up at the calendar on the wall.

'Wednesday. Zuku's in class. Must be someplace without cell or satellite connection. Note: Install alternate form of communication.'

She turned back to her drawings, a complicated array of equipment, and a bright glowing ring a couple of centimeters in diameter, set into a moving mass of metal.

'After I finish Mk.VII, that is. Now, where did I put those QEC schematics?'

Aizawa turned to face the intruders, multitudes of people pouring out of the hole in space.

"Huddle up and don't move," she called back, "Thirteen. Midoriya. Protect the class."

Izuku's head snapped to his teacher at his name. He nodded.

'Avalonn. It's time.'

The visor popped into existence in front of his face.

'Be͞g͡inning quirk͞ ͢ana̡l͢ys̨is ͏vi̴a͜ ̴s̕p̕ect̕ral ̕imag͟i̕n͏g. ̨R͞e͡co͏rdi͞ng to ̨loçal͟ stora̷ge. This is going to get messy boss.'

'Not if I have anything to say about it.'

Izuku pulled his left arm up and deployed the shield covering himself and his classmates behind him.

"Everyone, stay behind me." He spoke with a voice that left no room for questioning. The whole class shifted and gathered close.

"Iida, I need you to be ready to run as soon as you have the chance to. We need reinforcements. Do not question it." He said as looked back. Iida was about to object, but stopped at the look in Izuku's eyes.

"We are cut off from the outside. Kaminari, try to get some sort of connection to the outside with your quirk." He looked directly at Kaminari, a green blaze behind his eyes. Kaminari nodded, and began fiddling with his communicator.

"Momo, they are coordinated and thought this through. Let's get everyone paired up in case we get divided." His gaze turned to the vice president. She nodded and started assigning people partners.

Offensive types with defensive types.

"Kacchan, keep your eyes open for opportunities to attack. Anything to hurt them." He turned his gaze to his oldest friend. Katsuki nodded and grinned wildly, crouching low to get ready.

"Eiko, watch his back." The red-head smiled broadly, and hardened her hands, getting low like Katsuki.

"Everyone else," 19 heads snapped up, "Get ready for a fight."

He turned back to Thirteen and Aizawa.

"Sensei, we are prepped. I'll help you as soon as I can."

Aizawa nodded, and launched herself down the stairs, tackling the first grunts through the gate.

'That kid is something else, getting his whole class in line, in a few moments. Good pick, All Might.'

Aizawa hurtled into the first group of villains, who were obviously unaware of the Pro Hero's abilities. With their gunners upfront, they were all quickly dispatched by Aizawa's acrobatics and power. The capture tap on her neck made short work of the first group. Until someone recognized her and her power.

The second group moved up, hearing that she couldn't affect them, being mostly heteromorphic.

Quirks she couldn't disable.

'Fucking media.'

But fighting quirkless was never a problem for Aizawa. Her knowledge of many different martial arts and hand to hand combat proved that she could hold her own, even without a quirk.

As Aizawa fought the villains in the courtyard, Izuku started planning and strategizing. He could see a couple steps ahead of anyone, and this was where he shined.

It was like chess. The pieces moved in particular ways. You just had to know which piece moved

first.

And the villains already made their move. Now it was his turn.

"Thirteen, their warp quirk villain is going to warp up here and split us up. Do not attack with your quirk. He will use it against you."

Izuku turned to the class. "Make sure you have your partners. They will split us up. As soon as they do, be ready to fight, and don't hold back. The villains don't care that we are students."

He pulled his shield back and stepped to the side, giving the class a view of the fight down the stairs.

Ochako gasped as she saw Aizawa take on over 30 villains by herself, with more on the way.

Mina shared a look with her, panic in their eyes.

Izuku knew he had precious seconds.

He took careful aim at the front door behind them with his right hand, and focused. An Impulse Strike hit the entrance doors 30 meters away, and blew them off their hinges, exploding outward.

He partially hoped someone heard that, but he wasn't counting on it.

"Iida, after we clear the warp villain, I need you to run and get the teachers. Until I can find whomever is blocking our signals, we are without reinforcements." Iida nodded in understanding.

"OK everyone, let's start moving out." Izuku looked over his shoulder and down the stairs at Aizawa. She was going to need help, and soon.

First things, first. It was the villains turn to move.

'Dark Rook moves to B6.'

The warp quirk user popped into existence in front of the running students.

He was a little taken aback by how little fear was in some of the students faces, but he paid it no mind.

"Greetings. I won't allow you to leave. We are the League of Villains. Forgive our audacity, but today we came to your bastion of heroism, U.A., to end the life of All Might, the Symbol of Peace.

We were under the impression that All Might would be here today, but it seems his schedule was revised. Well, no matter. My role remains unchanged."

Katsuki and Eiko looked like they wanted to jump at the warp quirk, but a split second look from Izuku told them not too.

Then all at once, a massive field of mist began to envelop the class. Izuku's heart rate skyrocketed.

Time seems to slow down.

Actually, now that he thought about it, time seemed to stop. He looked down at his hand. It wavered, like an after image. He looked around at his class, each of them frozen, not moving, no sounds.

Iida had grabbed Tetsutetsu and Ochako and was pulling them to the side. Mezo had Sero and Mina. Momo had Kaminari and Kyoka, Katsuki had Eiko, Tokoyami and Pony were together, Ibara wrapped Itsuka in some vines, and Shoto and Toru were next to each other.

He looked around, the mist was moving slowly, shimmering, and weaving in the air. He stared at it, seeing the energy spark between the particles.

'A warp type quirk would be handy.'

Avalonn didn't say anything, which was odd.

He studied the mist, and found the energy signature, but now wasn't the time to test.

He looked around him.

Things were starting to speed up a little. Time was catching up. Or was he slowing down?

Either way, it was his turn now.

'White Knight to C3.'

He grabbed onto Tsuyu and Shinso, and time crashed back into place as he held on tight.

The mist surrounded them, and then he felt weightless for a split second, and then the fall.

The portal opened right over the Flood Zone, sending Izuku, Shinso, and Tsuyu toward the water.

Izuku righted himself and then called out to his classmates, "Hold on tight!" and ignited his thrusters.

Their fall was arrested just over the water, but he could see shapes in the water, many looking rather human.

"Hold on guys, gotta do a bit of flying."

He increased his grip, and Shinso and Tsuyu held on tight, and he blasted towards the boat in the middle of the Zone.

He landed smoothly on the top deck, and took a look out over the water.

'Avalonn, you still there?'

'Never left boss, what's up?'

'Huh. Earlier, time seemed to slow down and you didn't respond to a thought I had.'

'Interesting. I did detect a huge jump in adrenaline in your system, as well as a weird energy pulse. We'll have to talk about it later.'

'Agreed. Show me the complex. Who's where?'

'Scans show that Thirteen, Ashido, Sero, Shoji, Tetsutetsu, Ochako, and Iida are still at the entrance. Aizawa is still fighting in the center, but is getting surrounded. Recommend helping her as soon as possible.'

'Agreed. The rest?'

'Bakugo and Kirishima are in the Earthquake Zone. Tsunotori and Tokoyami are in the Squall

Zone. Yaoyorozu, Jirio, and Kaminari are in the Mountain Zone. Todoroki and Hagakure are in the Landslide Zone. Ibara and Kendo are in the Conflagration Zone.'

'Good. Let's start to plan a way to win.'

'Already on it. But first, you have villains in the water.'

Izuku looked down and regarded the villains in the water.

'Warp guy was right. Audacity.'

Izuku raised his voice, and shouted down at the villains.

"I'M ONLY GOING TO SAY THIS ONCE! TURN AWAY RIGHT NOW, OR FACE THE

CONSEQUENCES!"

He raised an arm and aimed it at the water in front of the closest villain, and began to pulse energy into his arm.

"GOING ONCE!"

Some of the villains called for the group to rush them, or said he was bluffing.

"GOING TWICE!"

A couple of villains got a pale look, and started to turn. But most of them just smirked.

Izuku smiled a dangerous smile.

"Thrice. I did warn you."

The power that had been building for 5 seconds released in a single blast that hit the water like a fully loaded freight train.

A tremendous explosion of water and water vapor created a huge tidal wave that launched the villains towards the Center Area, all of them knocked out from the concussive blast, washing up on the shore.

Tsuyu watched with awe. She looked up at Izuku who had a look of anger, and a smile that was not reaching his eyes.

"I'm glad you're on our side, Midoriya, ribbit"

"Same here, Tsuyu. If that's what passes for a villain nowadays, I don't think we'll have to worry too much. Those guys were idiots."

He turned to look at Shinso.

"You all good? I'm going to need your help assisting Aizawa."

Shinso looked up and nodded. "I'm with you, Midoriya."

"Good. Then hold on tight."

Shinso and Tsuyu held onto his arms and he lifted off, and headed towards the shore.

In the Landslide Zone, Shoto caught Toru before she fell to the ground from the warp tunnel.

"Thanks for the save, Todoroki!"

"Don't mention it." He said shortly.

He looked around, and saw a couple of villains starting to move up and around them.

"Stay behind me."

He slammed his right foot into the ground, and blast of cold air flew out, followed by a cascade of ice. The entire area was covered in ice, then villains frozen to the ground, shivering in their icy prisons.

"Divide and Conquer, huh?"

He regarded each of the villains before continuing, "Forgive me for saying, but it's hard to see you guys as anything more than thugs with quirks you can't even handle."

The villains shivered, and stared in fright. 'Just how powerful is this kid?'

Shoto looked around the arena, and from his view point, he could see the entrance, spotting some classmates, and then saw a huge blast of water from the flood zone, followed by a shockwave blasting through the air.

"Ah, that must be Midoriya."

He turned to the villains in front of him.

"At this rate, your skin will rot away from frostbite. But I'm training to be a hero, and hero don't do such nasty things."

His stare became hard.

"So, you are going to tell me what your plan to kill All Might entailed."

The villains gulped. There wasn't any question in his voice. Either talk. Or lots of pain.

Momo and Kyoka were fighting back against the villains that surrounded them, while Denki ran around, freaking out, dodging villain attacks.

"These guys are serious! My whole life just flashed before my eyes! What the hell are we going to do?"

He ran to join Momo and Kyoka, and spun around.

"Don't just stand there, you're a lightning type, so fry them!" Kyoka called out.

"I can't! I can only cover myself with electricity! I'll hit you guys too!"

Momo looked around at the approaching villains.

She made a bo staff, focusing on the carbon structure, and pulled it from her thigh, the staff flowing from her skin easily and rapidly.

"I'm trying to call for help, but my transceiver is being jammed! Get it!?"

He spun to look at some of the villains approaching them.

"I'm relying on you guys!"

Kyoka rolled her eyes, and kicked Kaminari in the back, sending him flying.

"SO BE A HUMAN STUN GUN, YOU IDIOT."

Kaminari fell right into a huge muscular villain, immediately lighting the guy up with electricity, leaving him stunned.

"Hey! It worked! I'm pretty strong!"

Momo and Kyoka had looks of desperation and anger on their faces.

"Just rely on me, guys!"

Kaminari started bouncing between enemies, shocking as many as he could get his hands on.

"Time to get serious, you two!" Momo called out, as she threw a carbon fiber and kevlar net onto one knife wielding villain.

Kyoka turned to face a group of villains approaching, and connected her jacks to her boots and let the sound explode out, knocking several villains down from the pressure wave, and stunning the

rest.

Momo called out, "It's ready!"

She kicked back a villain with a vicious hit to the solar plexus, and knelt down.

"It took some time, but that's how it is with larger objects."

Her back bulged, and a huge white shape burst out of her back, her halter sports bra keeping everything covered and tight.

The shape exploded into the air, and thick white sheet covered Momo and Kyoka.

"NOW, KAMINARI!"

The electric type looked over his shoulder and seeing the girls covering themselves, he smirked.

"Here's where you fucked up! I'm super strong, and you didn't plan for me!"

He pulled everything out of his cells, and let loose.

"INDISCRIMINATE SHOCK!"

He carried his classmates tightly in his arms, and soared over to the edge of the Central Plaza, landing softly on the ground, just behind some trees.

He killed the thrusters, and let his classmates get down.

He turned to them, "OK, we need to get the rest of the group together, and help Aizawa."

Shinso and Tsuyu nodded.

He looked back at the Central Plaza and spotted Aizawa. She was definitely slowing down and some of the villains were getting back up.

He also saw the blue haired man, covered in hands, and what could only be described as a muscular beaked man, except he was bigger than anyone else there.

'Avalonn? Analysis?'

'Detecting multiple quirks in the big guy, boss. Not sure how, but I'm reading 3 separate abilities. Hyper Regeneration, Shock Absorption, and some sort of speed quirk.'

'Shock Absorption and Hyper Regeneration, eh. That must be their All Might killer.'

He smiled broadly.

'Too bad they didn't plan for me.' He chuckled to himself.

"Right, I hate to do this, but we gotta split up," he said as he turned to Shinso and Tsuyu.

"Tsuyu, I need you to meet up with the rest of the class. Shinso, you and I are going to tackle of the thug villains to ease Aizawa's burden."

Tsuyu nodded, "Good luck, guys," and slunk off around the edge of the plaza.

He looked back at Aizawa. She was tackling some big rocky guy with four arms.

"Right. Shinso, you ready to run?"

Shinso looked at him and nodded. His eyes were still tired, but determined.

"Right, let's go," Izuku said, as he stood up, and deployed the shield in front of them.

"Stay behind me as best you can. I want the element of surprise."

He leaned and got ready to sprint. The shield was going to create a lot of air resistance, but it was needed to prevent incoming fire, and to distract the villains from Shinso.

Shinso wrapped his scarf tightly around Izuku's waist and gave it about 2 meters of slack.

He nodded when he was ready.

Izuku turned back, and started sprinting towards the fight, rocket assist off. He was a lot slower without the assist, but Shinso needed the cover more than Izuku needed the speed. Shinso's head snapped back at the sudden and massive acceleration, even just from Izuku sprinting.

They barreled forward into the plaza, Izuku streaking towards his teacher, Shinso holding on with everything he had, trying to keep his balance.

They crashed right into several villains, sending them flying forward into other thugs, clearing a hole for them to race through.

They slid into place right behind Aizawa, and right as he stopped, Izuku pulled a chunk of power into his fists, brought them together and then shot his hands and the power out sideways.

The green beams extended out and then curved in every direction into a huge bubble of energy 3 meters in diameter, surrounding the heroes entirely.

Aizawa looked at Izuku who was holding the pose, concentrating on the power flow, steady and strong.

"Since when can you form your shields into a sphere, Midoriya?" Aizawa looked at her student with mild annoyance and a slight amount of pride.

"Picked it up from a video game, actually," Izuku said softly, "I can hold this as long as we need, but I wanted to give you a breather before the real fight happens."

Shinso was staring at each of the villains in the crowd that was circling the bubble.

A couple tried to hit the sphere, but bullets and swords just bounced off. Punches were met with incredible pain from hitting an impossibly hard wall.

"Well, I'm glad that you thought of me, but I'm fine. Just tired is all." Aizawa said, almost nonchalantly.

'Boss, she's lying, her quirk is at her limit, and she is exhausted. She needs to take a break.'

Izuku just nodded a little.

"Right, well. I'm going to drop the shield in a little bit. What's the play?" Izuku said, hoping his teacher had a better plan than he did. He was just going to drop the shield and start punching.

"Well, I'm glad you brought Shinso, even though I told you to protect your fellow classmates."

Shinso looked at Aizawa, surprised, but he nodded.

"Think you can generate an Anti-Quirk Field big enough to take on all of these thugs?"

"Not without knocking out Shinso's quirk too, and his quirk is arguably more powerful than my replication at the moment."

"Good analysis and thinking. You do listen."

"Sensei, is now the best time for a lesson?" Shinso asked while looking at his teacher with mild concern.

'Has she absolutely lost it?'

Aizawa just smiled, and stretched. She put some eye drops in for good measure.

"Right, so here's the plan. When you are ready, Midoriya, drop the shield. Shinso and I will tackle the ones that get up close, and we'll stay low so you can hit anyone we can't take down with your concussion blasts. Agreed?"

Izuku just nodded, keeping his focus on the shield. It wasn't draining him like before, but to keep it perfect, he needed absolute clear focus.

Shinso answered in the affirmative.

"Right. On your mark, Midoriya," she said as she crouched low.

The blue-haired villain had regarded the sudden arrival of the two students with mild curiosity.

Vain attempts to save their teacher, he imagined.

But when the green ball of energy appeared, he really got interested.

"A shield, huh? Looks like someone is trying to get a checkpoint in before the big boss fight."

But what really made Shigaraki curious was the student in the white armor projecting the shield out of his hands.

That was something really new. New and exciting.

At the front gate, Iida was waiting for the perfect moment to run. He wasn't about to let Izuku down, not when the whole class needed Iida to do his job.

The warp quirk villain was being slippery, barely giving them a chance to move. But then Mezo rushed forward while Thirteen moved to attack, and held the villain in his arms.

Iida saw it happen in slow motion, and launched off, cracking the tiles underneath his feet.

Mezo was thrown back, and the warper reached out for Iida.

"How impertinent! I won't allow you to leave!"

But as he reached out with his quirk to stop the runner, Ochako noticed the metal collar on his neck.

She put on a determined smile and rushed up the villain while he was distracted.

"I'm not sure why, but if you're wearing this thing, then you must have a real body in there somewhere."

She slapped both hands onto the collar and sent the warp villain skyward.

"NOW GO, IIDA!"

Sero launched tape at him and after snagging his catch, pulled hard, sending him flying back towards the Central Plaza.

Iida looked back and saw his classmates no longer had to worry about the warp quirk. In a flash, he was out the front door.

Izuku kept his focus solid and steady. The beams were bright, pulsing slowly, and unwavering.

He would drop the shield when he felt like it, but there wasn't time for too much of a break.

'Boss, Aizawa's vitals are stabilizing a little. She'll be good for another couple of minutes.'

"Ok guys, get ready."

He pulled back on the energy immediately, and then brought it into his fist.

He slammed it into the ground as hard as he could, cracking the concrete.

The burst of energy flew out and exploded around the heroes in a circle 10 meters in diameter, knocking several villains to the ground, and sending many flying back.

Aizawa and Shinso took that as their cue, launching into hand to hand with the closest villains.

Izuku didn't budge as he started firing Impulse Strikes left and right, being careful not to hit anyone close to Shinso or Aizawa. The Strikes sent many villains flying back, knocking them out cold. But several, especially the big guys, tanked a couple of hits.

Izuku started doubling up on the hits, increasing power, before the 4 armed boulder got right up behind Izuku.

Izuku barely had time to turn around to face him before a huge rocky fist collided with the side of Izuku's head.

The scream of pain coming from the 4 armed villain was a bit surprising.

Izuku looked at the giant who was rolling on the ground with a cocked eyebrow and a small smile at the adult's tantrum.

'Uh, boss, he shattered his hand against your head. I don't think he's ever felt pain like that before.'

Izuku chuckled and ignored the howling pile of pebbles.

He turned just in time to see Aizawa tackle a couple more thugs, while Shinso was tying up the unconscious ones.

"Ok, I think we got it from here. Head on up to the entrance," Izuku said as he nodded towards Aizawa, directing Shinso to take a look.

Shinso glanced, and then nodded.

He kicked one of the villains in the stomach for good measure and then jogged off to join the rest of the class.

Izuku turned and looked around. The two main villains hadn't moved.

'Just watching? Or waiting for us to clear this part of the level before the big boss fight?'

'Modern game theory agrees with your last statement, though I can't imagine why they would do that. Unless they are waiting for something.'

Izuku did not like the sound of that.

He looked over at Aizawa who was still working on the last couple of villains.

He looked up at the entrance way and smiled when he saw Ochako looking at him.

'Since the Bad Guys are still toying with us, let's see if we can't…'

He couldn't finish the thought. A sudden blow to his head, the world spinning, and the heavy crack of concrete.

And the world went black.

Ochako watched Iida run through the front door. She was glad that he was getting help, despite wanting to stay and fight.

She turned and looked back down the stairs, and watched as Izuku, Shinso, and Aizawa dispatched villain after villain.

She sighed a breath of relief, knowing that he was ok. But she was still worried. Two of the villains hadn't moved.

She watched as Izuku and Shinso tied up a couple of villains, and then Shinso started walking back.

Izuku looked at Aizawa and then turned to look up at the entrance, right at her. She could barely make out a wide smile on his face, and it filled her heart with joy.

A flicker of black moved and appeared behind Izuku in an instant. The big black villain's fist collided with the side of Izuku's head with a resounding smack.

Ochako's eyes went wide, and her expression of joy turned to terror and anguish in an instant.

"DEKU!" Her anguished cry made the rest of the class turn to look.

Ochako and Mina watched in disbelief and horror as Izuku cartwheeled through the air, ragdolling, before crashing into the concrete of the wall of the Squall Zone. His body stayed there for a second, before collapsing onto the green grass on the ground.

Black.

Endless.

Cold.

Black.

Head hurts.

That's new. Pain. From what?

Getting hit. Oh, right. Wait. But…

Your power? Yeah. That.

You lost focus. Oh… yeah… Ochako.

Ochako. She's really pretty.

We know that. I like her. A lot.

We know that too. But now isn't the time to think about it.

But I wanna. She's soft and warm, and helps me sleep. I wanna sleep forever…

YOU HAVE TO GET UP. YOU HAVE TO REACH HER. YOU HAVE TO GET UP AND FIGHT. SHE BELIEVES IN US. SHE NEEDS YOU.

He pulled up from the endless ink, fighting the pull, fighting the strain. He looked around at the constantly swirling void, as he stood up.

Black. Endless Black.

The void was silent. And cold.

He stumbled as he tried to move his feet, knee and fists hitting the void, crashing through the black.

He tried to breath, but couldn't remember how.

He looked at his hands, deep in the black.

It swirled around his wrists and forearms, ebb and flow, circling endlessly.

Then the ink smoothed over, and he saw his reflection. Only it wasn't his face. It was shadowy, and shifting.

Many faces stared back at him at once.

"GET UP!"

Izuku's body was sprawled in the grass not moving.

Ochako's eyes were filled with tears as she watched him lay there.

'Not now, not like this.'

"Get up, Deku. Please get up. You have to get up! GET UP, DEKU!" She screamed at him.

He heard the voices.

It was time.

A spark of light in the black. Starting small, a tiny flame.

He reached for it, pulling it towards him.

The flame grew when it touched his hand.

It ignited, and covered his body, but instead of pain, he felt a warm soft breeze.

The fire grew, and boiled away the black.

His feet on the silver floor, standing, relishing in the warmth.

The fire exploded outward and grew to a huge inferno, fighting back the black ink.

He looked at his hand, and marvelled at the green and gold light.

It was time.

Aizawa heard the sickening hit, and looked just in time to see her student get flung across the plaza and into a concrete wall. She hit the last villain in the groin, and flung him to the ground.

At first, she couldn't believe it. This kid was supposed to be stronger than All Might. How did he get taken down?

She looked back at the black Villain. He must be strong then. Too strong.

But she had a job to do. She cracked her neck, and raced at the big black brute.

But before she could do anything at all, the blue-haired villain rushed forward.

"First, it was twenty-three seconds."

Aizawa turned to rush the oncoming opponent, "So, you're the boss?"

"Then it was twenty-four seconds. Then twenty seconds."

Aizawa sprinted past the big black villain, and launched her capture scarf at the hand villain, who caught it with ease.

"Seventeen seconds."

Aizawa lunged forward, elbow primed to hit the blue-haired villain right in the gut.

"It's hard to tell when you're scampering around, but there are moments when your hair falls in front of your eyes."

Aizawa leaned back a bit, looking up at the man.

Her elbow was stopped by his hand.

"Every time you finish a given move, and your max duration's getting shorter and shorter."

Searing pain course through her arm, the fabric on her elbow disintegrating, her skin follow suit just after.

"Don't overdo it now, Eraserhead."

His body was still.

A small breeze drifted around him, the grass swaying in the wind.

It began to pick up, swinging in a circle around him.

A spark of green light, a tiny mote spun into existence, followed by another, then another. Dozens now, circling around his body.

The lights began to spin, and more jumped into the ring, spinning faster and faster.

The ring reached its peak, as bright as the sun, and then it collapsed on Izuku's body.

A huge beam of light exploded upward in a gigantic flare of green light, lifting his body up slowly.

He took a deep shuddering breath, and his eyes opened, the raging green inferno behind them, making them shine.

"It's time to end this."

"Your quirk… It's not good in long, group battles, huh?"

Aizawa had thrown the hand villain back a couple of meters, and now he was getting back up. "This is kinda different from you usual work, yeah? You specialize in quick sneak attacks."

He got up and looked at her with beaming red eyes.

"Yet you jumped right into the fight. Hoping to make the kids feel safe? So cool. So freaking cool."

He smiled broadly, unnerving her slightly.

"By the way, Hero, I'm not the boss."

A chill ran down Aizawa's spin, and she saw black out of the corner of her eye.

Ochako watched his body, praying and hoping.

'Nonononono, he needs to get up! I need him!'

And then she saw the flare of green and his body rise off the ground, and for a split second, she couldn't believe her eyes.

And then her heart soared.

Izuku looked back down at his hand. Normal hand, no fire, no green and gold.

'Ok, let's try this.'

He thought of the memory of the warp quirk. He pulled out the frequency and timing of the mist.

He focused on his power and pulled, applying the profile of the energy surge he needed.

In his hand, the light swirled around, and started to shift, becoming hazy.

A circle formed in palm. He looked down at it and inside the green misty circle was black. No light. Just dark.

'The warp needs to know where to go, so…'

He pictured a spot in front of him, and a green spark appeared, and then grew into a similar sized circle to the one in his palm.

He put his other hand through, and watched with fascination as his hand appeared in front of him, 1 meter away.

'Warp Quirk acquired! Now let's use it.'

He looked up at Aizawa, who was fighting against the entropy increaser. He noticed the big black villain wasn't moving. Good, Dark Queen hasn't moved yet. Time to work.

He turned back to his hand.

'Avalonn, I need exact positions of each group of students and the entrance.'

'Ready with the data, boss.'

'OK, let's save everyone.'

He focused and pulled on the power in his stomach, and envisioned each position as Avalonn showed him on the Interface screen.

Then he pulled them through.

Each group of students was getting ready for the final push of villains.

Todoroki had started to thaw some of the ice, but before he could finish, green mist circled his and Toru's feet, and they slipped into the void.

---

Momo and Kyoka were facing down an electric type quirk user that had Kaminari in his grip.

But a quick creation from Momo, a smoke bomb, thrown right at his face caused his grip to slip. When he recovered from the smoke, the kids he was threatening had vanished, green mist floating around the ground. He looked around and got spooked.

---

Katsuki and Eiko were back to back, fighting against villains that rushed like a bunch of amateurs.

"Bunch of fucking morons." Katsuki said as he slammed the last one into the floor of the building they were in.

"That was a good fight, though! Really tough! Got my blood pumping!"

But before they could say anything further, green mist appeared around their feet, and they fell into the black.

Ochako was watching Izuku carefully. He was doing something with his power.

Then she heard a static sound behind her. She whipped around and saw green mist hovering in the

air.

She got ready for another fight, but relaxed as she saw the portals open, and the rest of class slid out onto the ground.

They all looked around, shocked to find themselves back at the front.

Momo looked the most surprised, followed by Todoroki, who actually raised his eyebrows.

"What was that? Who did that?" Momo looked really perplexed.

Ochako smiled broadly, tears still streaming down her face.

"Izuku must have. He just got back up and started doing something with his energy."

Momo sighed in relief.

"He keeps getting more and more tricks. So manly!" Eiko was smiling broadly.

"Wait, Round Face, what do you mean, 'just got back up'?" Katsuki looked scared for a second.

Ochako didn't meet his eye.

Izuku had finished warping everyone to the front, and took a deep steadying breath. Warping took a lot out of him, but he still had a job to do. He looked for Aizawa, but saw only the big black villain, crouched over.

'Dark Queen moves to take White Bishop.'

He lost focus for one second, and he slipped up.

Aizawa was pinned under the big black villain, her arm at an unnatural angle.

"Meet the Anti-Symbol of Peace. The Bio-engineered Nomu," the blue haired villain said.

Nomu gripped her arm even harder, cracking her bones even more.

Aizawa let out of a groan of pain, trying to contain herself.

Izuku pulled himself up. He stared at Nomu.

'He goes first. Payback is due.'

Mina shouted, "Look he's moving! There...wait, where did he go?"

Then there was another thunderous smack, followed by a burst of green and gold light.

The whole class and Thirteen turned to look at the Central Plaza. Aizawa was just about to hit the blue haired villain again. Then the big black villain vanished and appeared right behind her, and slammed her head into the ground.

"Canceling out quirks. Pretty cool, but nothing special. Up against crazy strength, you might as well be totally quirkless." The blue haired villain stood up, and regarded the scene. Nomu standing on Aizawa, bones cracking, the pro-hero utterly helpless.

"Tomura Shigaraki," spoken by the warp quirk user as he appeared behind the entropy increaser.

"Kurogiri. Is Thirteen dead?" Shigaraki spoke plainly without turning away from Aizawa.

"I was unable to affect the Space Hero. The students fought back, and were able to prevent me from taking her out. One of the students was able to escape."

Shigaraki stood there and looked down.

"Kurogiri. You… If you weren't our ticket out of here, I'd turn you to dust."

He started frantically scratching at his neck.

"We won't stand a chance against dozens of pros. It's Game Over, back to the title screen."

He stopped scratching.

"Fine. We are leaving."

But before either of them could do anything, a blur of green, white and gold collided with Nomu, sending him flying into the wall of the Landslide Zone, a hundred meters away.

Shigaraki looked at where Nomu had landed and looked back down, but Aizawa wasn't there anymore.

"What just happened?"

Izuku had sprung from where he had landed after the hit by Nomu, and using the rocket assist, sprinted the 100 or so meters to the plaza in less than a second.

He pulled back his right fist and channelled star light and heat. As he approached the hulking 'AllMight Killer', he let the power fly into the beast's body.

His fist collided with Nomu's face, twisting its neck, and launched the creature across the plaza, and into the far wall, a trail of green and gold light marking his path through the air.

In the same second, he grabbed Aizawa gingerly, and forced more power through his legs, and launched off to the entrance.

Izuku appeared in front of the class.

"Aizawa is badly injured. Momo, I need you to make splints and wrappings to set her arm, and something to protect her head."

He looked at Ochako, she was still staring in shock. She walked up to him.

"I saw you get hit, and then you didn't get up." She was crying harder now, tears of anger, anguish, and joy. Unbelievable joy.

He pulled her close, and hugged her tight, letting her feel his warmth.

"Hey, it's me. I'm ok."

He put a finger under her chin, and pulled her face up to look at him.

"I will always get up, and I will always come back." He grinned broadly.

"Besides, you are super cute when you cry."

She laughed, and cried some more, slapping his arm.

"Ok, jerk, that's not fair."

He pulled her head down, and kissed the top of her hair.

He then turned to face the rest of the class, his eyes lingered on each one of them.

Momo blushed a little at his gaze, Mina and Itsuka following suit.

"Stay here, and wait for the teachers. I'm ending this."

Eiko half-whispered, "So manly!", with a fervent nod from Tetsutetsu.

He turned to face the Central Plaza.

Nomu had gotten up and stumbled back into the Plaza and cracked his head back into place. 'Hyper Regeneration, of course.'

Izuku stared down at them from the top of the stairs, considering the next move.

'White Knight moves to take Black Queen.'

"It seems that student was what hit Nomu, Tomoru. He got up even after getting hit by Nomu. He seems to possess impressive power, strength and speed."

Shigaraki scratched his neck again.

"Kids these days really are something else."

He stared at the white and black clad student at the top of the stairs.

"Nomu, kill him. Again."

But Nomu didn't have a chance to respond before the student started moving towards them first.

'It seems they really want to fight, Avalonn. Let's give it to them, shall we?'

'Ready and willing, boss.'

He swung his right arm down, and the chain sword ejected, and folded into a single sharp blade.

'He's going to be tough. Let's bring out all of the tricks. Plasma Edge.'

The blade started to shimmer, and then a bright green light erupted from the edge, as confined plasma burst into existence.

Nomu had moved forward, ready to fight.

He launched down the stairs, rocket assist firing at 100%, his feet barely touching the ground.

He reached the base of the stairs in the blink of an eye and raced towards Nomu, the sword primed for it's maiden attack.

As the monster and the hero approached each other, Nomu cocked a huge fist back, and released a heavy punch. Izuku deployed the shield at the last minute.

His fist collided with Izuku's raised shield, a massive shockwave bursting out from it, the sound reverberating around the complex.

The sword swung up, and the plasma hit Nomu's arm, and kept going, like a hot knife through butter. The hand that had impacted the shield fell to the ground. Nomu backed off and cradled the stump.

In a split second, Nomu had launched a punch that would have dented tank armor, and Izuku had removed the arm.

Izuku's speed decreased as he swung around Nomu, and came to rest in front of the villains.

He retracted the shield and sword, as Nomu was starting to regenerate the missing hand.

They obviously weren't going to be much help here.

'Time for pure power.'

"Say kid, you're pretty fast and strong. By chance, are you a follower of All Might? It's pretty impressive what you can do." Shigaraki looked at Izuku with interest.

I could say the same for you. Your quirk increases entropy of an object. Turns anything you touch into dust, dead matter. A very unique quirk." Izuku regarded Shigaraki with a slight amount of respect and utter contempt.

"Smart too. Tell me, how did you know?" Shigaraki was more curious now. Someone who knew how his quirk worked better than he did. Interesting.

"The front gate. There was no radiation in the concrete or steel. The only way that could ever happen is if I pull it out, or if it reached final entropy." Izuku said with a glare. Nomu had fully recovered, but was waiting, a hand raise from Shigaraki giving him pause.

"Very interesting. So you can mess with radiation? That's useful." Shigaraki was liking this kid more and more.

'Very useful.'

Izuku just nodded, and then tensed up.

"Anyway, we came here to kill All Might, but it seems like Nomu is having more fun with you. I'm not sure how you have managed to come back from the dead after his hit and then hit him twice, but you won't get a second chance."

"You see, that line doesn't work. I didn't die. I can't die. Nomu caught me off guard, and managed to overload my absorption."

Izuku got into a fighting stance, "So, now, the best you can do is delay the inevitable."

Shigaraki turned to Nomu, "Nomu, he annoys me. You can kill him now."

Back in the Midoriya apartment, Inko was prepping lunch for herself when a sudden chill ran down her spine.

Something was very wrong. And Izuku was in the middle of it.

She shivered slightly, and then reached for her phone.

"Consider this payback." Izuku said with a wide smile. He turned to face Nomu, and squared his shoulders, lining up with the beast.

He focused, closing his eyes for a second. He could feel Nomu getting closer. He opened his eyes, and unleashed the nova.

"IMPULSE CANNON!"

A circle of light spun into place in front of his chest, and unleashed a huge blast of energy, a beam of green light and heat half a meter in diameter. The energy slammed into Nomu, forcing him to a standstill. He raised his arms to protect himself against the onslaught, the heat creating blisters on his arms, and causing his skin to peel away.

The beam cut out after a second. Izuku breathed and vented the waste heat into the suit, which sent it blasting out the back vents, huge columns of heat rising out.

Nomu had been shunted back a couple of meters, but was already recovering from the damage of the beam.

Shigaraki chuckled and regarded the student hero.

"Oh, you'll have to do better than that. That super move is good, but Nomu's stronger than that."

Izuku smirked.

"Oh, sorry. That wasn't my super move. That was a test. Had to make sure that it worked."

He grinned and looked at Nomu. He raised his hand and gestured to him with two fingers. 'Bring it on.'

Nomu roared and rushed at Izuku.

'Time to turn up the heat. 10%'

Izuku prepared to open the nova again. He slapped his heels into the ground, the anchors slammed into the ground. The backblast from this attack was going to be immense.

The circle spun up, and lashed out with a solid green beam of heat and light a full meter in diameter.

Shigaraki was waiting for the cut off, so he could make his move. It had only been a second or two.

But the cut off didn't come after three seconds.

Or after four. He looked at Nomu, still fighting against the beam, and back at Izuku.

The beam was constant and steady.

Izuku had a determined smile on his face, his focus keeping the beam strong and steady.

Seven seconds.

Nomu was being shoved back, meter after meter, skin roasting in the heat, fighting against the brutal onslaught of energy.

Ten seconds.

Nomu dug into the ground with his feet, stalling his movement for second, then he roared again, and starting pushing against the beam, making small, but noticeable progress.

Fifteen seconds.

Shigaraki turned to look at Izuku. "Just how much power does this kid have?"

Izuku's determined smile never wavered.

Twenty seconds.

"10% not enough, eh, big guy? That's fine. Let's try 25%."

Shigaraki's eyes grew wide.

The beam grew to a meter and a half across and started pulsing, huge waves of heat and wind being forced off it. The concrete under the beam was starting to ooze, and was red hot. The light from the beam was so intense, the visor on Izuku's face darkened and Shigaraki and Kurogiri had to shield their eyes.

Twenty-five seconds.

Nomu was stalled again, the heat and light finally burned their way through his epidermal layer, and it was starting to affect his muscles. His feet were roasting on the concrete that was red hot and turned into slag.

30 seconds.

"Kurogiri, can't you help Nomu? Get him out of there or warp away his beam?" Shigaraki didn't look at Kurogiri while asking, his focus on Nomu.

"I'm trying, Tomura, but the energy from his attack is disrupting my warp gates. I can't get them to form anywhere near his attack or him." Kurogiri regarded the armored teen with fear.

'This much power inside a single person. Unbelievable."

Nomu pushed, now leaning into the inferno hard, his feet punching into the concrete to find purchase.

'Even 25% isn't enough? All right then.' Izuku thought as he watched Nomu get slowly closer.

"You asked for it. 50% Power."

'Boss, just a heads up, you have overloaded the reactor with your power draw. I shut it down.'

Izuku nodded. 'Time to draw really deep.'

He pulled up from his core, and reached into the nova, grabbed a chunk of gold-green star light, and forced it into the cannon.

The beam grew to 2 meters across, flashes of gold and green mixed together, digging into the concrete, and splashing around Nomu, heating him from all sides. The wave of energy from the latest surge blasted out and slammed into Nomu, sending him back a couple of meters. The wind generated from the waste heat coming off Izuku's suit lashed out over the complex.

Up at the entrance, the students and teacher were watching the fight with awestruck faces.

The light from Izuku's beam was intense, and they could feel the heavy wind from the heat.

Shoto could see the heat being vented off of Izuku reaching out in a wide arc behind him, flashigniting the trees, and making the steel railings red-hot.

Kyoka had covered her mouth with her hand, "Sweet Jesus, Green."

Mina leaned over to Ochako, "Your boyfriend is scary powerful."

Ochako could only nod, her mouth hanging open.

Nomu stumbled, losing purchase in the ground. He slammed his fist into the ground to hold on, his face and body taking the brunt of damage now. His epidermal layer was totally vaporized, and his muscles and tendons were fused and boiling. Parts of his skeleton were becoming visible. His blood was vaporizing faster than it could be regenerated.

The concrete gave way, and he got picked up by the beam. He was launched across the facility, slamming into the far wall with a sickening splat that reverberated around the facility.

Izuku killed the beam, and took a deep steadying breath, steam escaping from his mouth.

He panted for a little bit, letting the heat he generated release from his skin and the suit.

He turned to face Shigaraki and Kurogiri, giving them a confident smile.

He focused and willed all of the waste heat back into his core.

The fires behind him were snuffed out in an instant, concrete cooled, and the wind died down.

He reach back inside, and placed the smaller chunk of star light into his nova. The core was whole again.

He looked right at Shigaraki and smiled broadly.

"Knight takes Dark Queen."

He held out a palm aiming for Shigaraki.

Shigaraki was scratching his neck viciously.

"Nonono no NO NO NO! You cheated! You're a CHEATER!"

Shigaraki started running at Izuku.

Izuku raised an eyebrow.

"You really think you can take me on? I just wiped your Nomu across the arena floor. Wasn't he designed to kill All Might?"

Shigaraki stopped.

Izuku continued, "You know, I'm not one to boast. But I don't even have All Might's strength, and I still beat your All Might killer."

He primed a ring of light into his palm.

"So, give up now."

The class watched as Nomu got flung across the arena, and smack into the far wall, cringing at the wet hit.

"That will not be a pretty sight." Eiko said, slightly disgusted.

Momo thought for a second and turned to Thirteen, "Midoriya's power is like what you described,

Sensei. Immensely helpful, if used properly. Devastatingly dangerous, if used to harm."

Thirteen nodded, "This is exactly why you need this training. But in this instance, having that kind of power is needed. You won't always be able to overpower your enemies."

Shinso stared at the Space Hero, pondering her words.

A roar from the far end of arena echoed across the plaza.

Shigaraki looked back with glee, and saw Nomu piece himself back together.

He turned back to look at Izuku, expecting to see fear or failure written on his face.

But he only saw the determined smile. That infuriating smile. His smile.

"Well, Hero, looks like your best wasn't enough after all. So now what are you going to do?"

Izuku watched from where he was standing as Nomu slid his bones back into place, stumbling towards him, muscles and skin regrowing rapidly.

He looked back at Shigaraki, "You know, I bet this thing really could kill All Might."

He chuckled, and then continued, "But I don't think it has what it takes to kill me."

Izuku's eyes flared again.

Ochako heard the roar, and turned to look at Izuku, "No…" she said softly. 'He's not done yet.' She shivered, fear flooding her again. 'If that thing can survive that, then what can he do?"

Nomu charged right at Izuku, sprinting as fast as he could, aiming to hit the hero.

"That worked so well for you last time," Izuku said cooly, "Let's see how you like it."

As Nomu got closer, readying his hit, Izuku cocked back his own fist, and met Nomu in the center, fist meeting fist.

A huge blast of wind and light exploded out from their collided fists.

Nomu dropped his hand, the bones shattered, skin split, and bleeding slightly. He screamed in defiance.

Izuku pulled his hand back, and felt nothing at all. Nomu's hit had simply been absorbed.

As Nomu's hand regenerated, Izuku looked up at him.

"Now, I've had my fun, but it's time for this to be over."

Izuku lunged forward, grabbing both of Nomu's hands in his own, and pulsed pink light into

Nomu.

Nomu started to float, but when Izuku used a thruster assisted kick, and hit him square in the chin, Nomu went blasting towards towards the roof.

Izuku released Nomu's mass back to him right before he collided with the roof, punching a hole clean through.

Izuku watched as Nomu flew through a couple of clouds.

"Have a good flight!" Izuku called out and waved.

He turned to look back at Shigaraki, who was shaking with anger.

A warp gate appeared behind them.

"Shigaraki, we should leave now." Kurogiri said, eyeing the student with absolute terror in his eyes.

"Fine. Let's go." Shigaraki looked up at Izuku, "Being seeing you soon, Hero."

Izuku smiled, "Actually, change of mind."

The two villains turned to face him, a red pulsing wave burst from his hand. Kurogiri's warp gate vanished.

Shigaraki felt the power within him immediately vanish.

"You can disable quirks too?" Shigaraki looked at Izuku with absolute anger, "You really are special, aren't you?"

Izuku just smiled as he brought his other hand up and focused pale green light around their feet, sinking them into the concrete.

"You have no idea."

At the League of Villain's Bar hideout, the TV monitor on the wall was on, but the screen said 'No Video'.

A voice spoke, coming from the TV, "Tomura and Kurogiri should be back by now. I wonder what happened."

Izuku looked around at the sheer destruction his power had done and sighed. The concrete was charred and blackened. The water in the flood zone had all but evaporated. The metal structures were warped and slagged. Even the far wall where Nomu's body landed the first time took heat damage.

He turned back to the two villains he had locked down in the concrete, covered with the antiquirk field.

"I was really hoping to contain property damage. Too bad," he said, shaking his head.

Then there was a tremendous crash as All Might broke right through the ceiling.

"I AM HERE!"

He looked around, and saw Izuku holding two villains, and then looked towards the entrance to see the class waving at him.

"Young Midoriya, everything all right? I ran into Iida and he said the class was attacked." Izuku chuckled and looked around, and focused on his work on the plaza, and then the villains in his trap. The concrete was slagged and black, a half pipe forough dug by his beam.

All Might followed his gaze, and stared in awe.

"Young man, what happened here?"

"Well, the short version is that the League of Villains showed up, split us up, beat up Aizawa, and then I microwaved their 'All Might killer', and gave him a one way ticket out of here. Then I captured the main boss and his transportation." Izuku turned and pointed to the hole in the ceiling and nodded to the villains stuck in the concrete.

All Might just stared at Izuku, blinking. Hearing, but not really believing.

He started laughing, and then clapped his successor on the back.

"I expect to hear the entire story later, but first let's get this taken care of. The rest of the teachers and police are on the way."

Izuku nodded. All Might restrained the remaining villains, and then stood next to Izuku as he kept the bosses from disappearing.

'Boss, we are still cut off from the outside, but I think I narrowed it down to a quirk user in the Mountain Zone.'

Izuku snapped up and looked at the Mountain Zone. Sure enough, he felt a faint pulse of power coming from that area.

"All Might, one more villain to grab. Electric quirk user in the Mountain Zone."

All Might looked and nodded, and then blasted off towards the Zone.

The electric quirk user was sitting on the ground waiting for some sort of word from the boss.

The electric quirk user looked around, but didn't see any other villains.

Then he heard a rustling noise above him. He looked up, right as All Might's fist collided with his face.

His head kicked back, and he was unconscious instantly.

Izuku noted a sudden burst and release of energy.

She turned to her latest baby, stifling her tears, and wiping her eyes. He needed this more than ever.

What she just saw proved it.

He smirked, looking at the two villains in his charge. They were doing nothing except standing there. Nothing to do anyway. Shigaraki glared at All Might, while Kurogiri stood and was patient.

All Might had finished restraining the rest of the villains, and was watching them all carefully.

Nobody made any noises or moves, but they kept giving Izuku sideways glances.

"Young Midoriya, these villains told me a very interesting story about your fight here. Aizawa did her best, but it seems that you almost single handedly dismantled their attack. Is that true?"

Izuku looked into the face of his teacher and nodded, a slight smile.

"I had help, sensei. Aizawa and Shinso helped me with the thugs, but Aizawa got taken out by their heavy hitter."

"Good job, young man. The teachers will be here shortly. As for these two..."

He turned to face the two villains in Izuku's field.

"Prison is almost too good for them. Almost."

Shigaraki just looked at All Might with contempt.

Ochako didn't dare take her eyes off of Izuku. She was proud that he had used her power to beat the black villain, but the fact that he was holding the other two in place unnerved her.

She only turned around for a second when the faculty and Iida arrived, then snapped her eyes back on Izuku.

Momo walked up to Principal Nezu, and bowed.

"Sir, all class members accounted for, but Aizawa needs medical attention as soon as possible."

Nezu regarded the vice president for a second. "Good work. But where is the class rep? I was expecting him to tell me that."

Momo stood up, and pointed down to the plaza.

"Midoriya and All Might have captured the villains and are detaining them in the Central Plaza. I believe Midoriya is holding the two most dangerous villains in an Anti-quirk field."

Nezu's ears perked up at that, and gestured for the teachers to start moving to the plaza.

He turned to the class, "The police and paramedics are outside and will give you all a once over, just to be safe."

Momo nodded, and the teachers split up to grab the villains.

She turned to look at the class.

Shinso, Katsuki, and Shoto looked over at Izuku for a split second.

"Right. Let's get out of the way and get clear. Ochako and I will wait behind for Midoriya. Iida, please lead them out."

She looked at Ochako, a small smile on her face, as she nodded.

The class moved out, Iida taking the helm.

"Let's all get ready for the paramedics. Even if you don't feel hurt, we still need to get checked, just in case."

Momo turned to look at Izuku still projecting the red field as the teachers walked up.

Ochako glanced over at her, a warm feeling in heart.

"He came back for you," Momo said quietly.

Ochako shook her head slightly.

"No, he came back for us. He's too good like that, she said.

Momo blushed.

There was a comfortable pause between them.

"You know, he really likes you," Ochako said softly, "I think you two would be awesome together."

Momo's head snapped to Ochako, "B-but you and him are… aren't you?"

Ochako smiled broadly, a glint in her eye.

"Yes, we are. Sort of. It's complicated. But I don't mind sharing, as long as you don't mind it either."

Momo blushed really hard at that thought.

"Just think about it. No pressure."

Ochako turned back to watch Izuku, who was talking to Nezu, still holding his hand up.

'One down.'

She smiled to herself.

The police entered the arena after the students had cleared out, and began hauling the villains off. Special quirk restricting cuff and restraints were placed on Shigaraki and Kurogiri. After they were confirmed captured and disabled, Izuku released the field, and lifted them out of the concrete.

All Might and Nezu turned to the hero-in-training.

"Well done, my boy. You did an excellent job today, saving your classmates and your teachers. I knew you could do it."

Nezu was nodding in agreement, "Indeed, Midoriya. I'm very impressed with your work today.

Now, go get checked out by the paramedics and Recovery Girl. We'll take care of the rest here."

"Yes, sensei. Thank you," he said as he bowed.

He took a couple steps back and lifted off, and blasted towards the entrance.

Nezu watched him go, then spoke up.

"A very wise choice, All Might. He makes for an excellent successor. I can't wait to see what he'll do next."

"Thank you, sir. I'm very proud of him myself. He has worked harder than anyone, and it shows."

He turned to look around the arena. The damage was immense, but not beyond repair.

"But he still has a long way to go."

Nezu chuckled and nodded, "That he does."

Izuku landed at the top of the stairs, and looked at Momo and Ochako.

"Everyone okay?" He asked Momo.

She nodded, blushing slightly again. "Yes, everyone is clear. They are getting final checks from the paramedics. But I'm more worried about you. You fell hard. Are you sure you are ok?"

Izuku nodded, and chuckled, "That hit was nothing. I got distracted is all." He winked at Ochako, who frowned and huffed.

Momo smiled, but it didn't reach her eyes, "Still you should get checked out. And the class will want to talk to you too."

He nodded, "Probably not a bad idea, let's go."

They turned and walked to the entrance.

Once they got outside, they got split up by the paramedics and check out for anything that might be wrong.

Once they got the okay, they met up with the class in the center of the courtyard. Police officers were going to each person and getting their statements of the events.

As Izuku walked up, several of the students walked over to him.

"Everyone all good?" Izuku asked as they bunched up around him.

Everyone nodded, but remained silent.

Shinso had a somewhat bored expression, but the fire behind his eyes was fierce.

Katsuki, looking pissed, was the first to speak up, "Yeah we're okay, Class Rep, but what was with you getting hit like that? And that green mist shit? It was exactly like the warp villains quirk."

Izuku grinned at him, "Well, I was distracted and the hit overloaded my absorption, so I got sent flying. And it turns out I could replicate that quirk too, but it's my own take on it."

"So that's how you managed to get all of us out of the areas, even at the same time." Shoto spoke up, his expression curious.

Izuku nodded, "I had to know that everyone was out of the way before I could let loose. You all saw the fight, I'm guessing?"

The whole class nodded.

"So, Green, how much power did that giant beam take?" Kyoka asked, a slight smile on her face.

"That was about 50% of my power fired for 45 seconds." Izuku regarded the Interface to double check.

He didn't need to tell them about the blinking red circle on the right. The reactor had been totally depleted, and shut down safely by Avalonn.

Nor did he need to mention that his own battery meter hadn't shifted from 99%. A lie of omission was one thing, but a blatant lie like that would be dangerous. They didn't need to know just how much power he really had. Not yet anyway.

Kyoka's face paled a little, "Jesus, Green, how can anyone compete against that?"

"Well, it's up to all of us to improve our skills to the absolute best. Even I can't do everything. But I will do whatever I can to help those that need it," he said with a determined smile.

He looked at each of his classmates, pride and determination on their faces.

The interviews with the police were fast, and once everyone confirmed their story and was checked out, they all got back on the bus. Izuku had checked in on Aizawa and once he got confirmation that she was taken to Recovery Girl and a local hospital, he got on the bus too.

The trip back to the main campus was quiet, everyone coming down from the adrenaline high.

Izuku held Ochako's hand tight.

She leaned against him, and focused on his warmth and breathing.

He stared at the floorboards, memorizing the entire incident, every piece, each move. The Black, the fight, Dark King captured, and in prison. But would that really contain him?

He decided it didn't matter. He would be ready. He pulled his hand out and focused. A pale blue light emanated from his finger tips.

He would be more than ready next time. His smile grew wide.
