We return to the enclave, I end up carrying most of the baskets, I felt a strange presence, I'm not exactly sure how to describe it but it may be best to pay it no mind. when the cave opened we entered and walk towards the kitchen on the right were kara burning someone's hat, maybe she were just being strict with me. We arrive into the kitchen "Alright set that basket over there and then..." Basically Cherry ordered me to set down the baskets in organized places, I did my part by doing it all while she prepared the needed utensils, I wonder how rushed she is when she does this alone, "Hey Cherry is Seraph here?" Speaking of alone my mom is here, I guess its time I hung out with her for a while, "Yes" both me and Cherry say at the same time as I rise from my spot now visible to Cana's sights, she crosses her arms with a half smile in her face "There you are, lets talk for a few" I turn my head to cherry, with a sense of worry for her she knew this look so she responded to it when she noticed "Oh don't worry about me, I'm used to this" I then give her a light pat in the back, "Don't overwork yourself ok?" I walked towards Cana though I heard her reply yelling "Ok!" after that I leave the room my mom closing the door after me.

I sat down beside my mom in her bed and she pulls my head down to her lap, "So how was your first day in here?" I don't even pause for a second to think, "It was fun in my first day" She ruffled my hair playing with it and I let her play with it, "I see, and how was Cherry?" that was the time I paused, why ask her specifically does she know? "Um, Cherry is fine, why do you ask her specifically?" I see my mom close her eyes and lightly laugh, "Well for starters she's the first and only person you know besides me and kara" Oh no I can see where this is going, I think I've cornered myself, "Secondly I heard from this morning's gossips that not only did you already be-friended but you already went out with her" I should not honestly be surprised on how she kn- "How do you see cherry?" My heart raced, it were a secret I didn't planned on getting out yet, any wrong move would spell my defeat, "I-I see her as a really helpful friend" I stare at her, I see a smile that practically that expressed a lot of doubt, "Lying is bad you know" I frown at the realization of by being being cornered once again, It would seem that my stuttering from earlier had caused its discovery, at this point there were no more point in hiding it, "I mean.. I *like* her, her determination I mean" I may or may not have prolonged the word like a bit too much, my mom taps me in the forehead, "Sit up now" and I did so, I could only listen to what she would say next, "So you do like her and are trying to relieve that weight from her shoulders?" I let out a sigh, its like she knew my thoughts too well, "..Yes" She makes me turn the opposite way from me, casually massaging my shoulder, "When do you plan on telling her?" I give it a minute to think about it, "Maybe one day" She then stood up pulling me up as well, patting me in the shoulder "Good luck then" I could only nod at that point as I leave the doors to help out in this day's work
