4 Isolation

I've decided on what I'm gonna do: To join the enclave and to find a place as the enclave's second cook, while drifting in my thoughts the person at the other side of the table: Cherry spoke up "You said you wanted to join right?" I look up to her putting down my spoon having finished nearly all my soup "Yes I did, how exactly do I join?" I ask her, it seems she were expecting that question responding nearly instantaneously "You've got to ask Kara, the 9 tailed fox lady" The imagery were still as I remember it, I now knew who to look for but before leaving I ask a question "Ahh alright I'll go to her, Oh and if I get accepted in can you teach me how to cook? That way you won't have to over exert yourself" I see her drop her spoon, she doesn't respond oh well I can read a few- wait I can't read her emotions this is odd is she that emotionless? "Oh.. Um.. Y-Yes of course!" She reacts in that way, I can verify myself without my strange power, she is happy probably overjoyed maybe more, grateful? she has been cooking for a long time for the enclave so maybe, time for me to go then still how strange for me to not be able to read her emotions "I'll be back then, see you in a while" I see her smile and waving her hands "Ok! thanks for the company"

Upon hearing this I open the doors outside of the kitchen and take 4 paces forward, looking around and I see no one, how strange looks like I'll have to wait for a wh- I turned around to see Kara she were eavesdropping the entire time, from the shade of her witch hat her eyes glew carrying with her a stern and alert face, a chill passes through my spine and I gulped just as I were about to speak up she cuts me off, "Im sure you're aware of the scenario, you'd like to join right?" I couldn't speak the only thing I could do were nod, and by doing so she tossed a scrolled paper, it were a contract of sorts, so I placed my signature in there, and thats when I felt a burning sensation an emblem of the enclave appeared on my left back hand though only the deer showed up must be because im a recruit, to finally verify I ask Kara yet again "So am I in?" I stare at her and she does not answer my question for few seconds then answering "Yes, you're in the enclave, and I'm the guild leader, though I've got a question for you" I stay aware of whatever question she'd ask, though it seems she still had to revise it "Whats the other reason you'd join, I know your parent being here plays a part but there's more than that" ..Well she's not wrong, and I don't think there's a need to answer since she did paid attention, and so I just gave a nod which she seemed to understand "I see, I won't but in then promise me that you'll be able to pull her out of there, none of us could for the longest time after all" I see so Cherry had been isolating herself from the rest of the guild, "Yea, I'll be sure to pull her out of there one day" Kara nodded and She walks away to one of the cave houses entering her house, huh so thats where people stay in I think she's discussing something with someone, oh well time to head back in then.

I enter the kitchen and call for Cherry, "Hey Cherry I'm in the enclave" I pull out my glove and show her my left back hand the crest visible
