Meanwhile, after hearing her mother's call and nasty words, a slight sad mood on Mj's face planted, of which Karl didn't miss noticing it.
"What's wrong, my love?" he inquired.
Mj was taken a back and tried to hide her sadness from Karl. But then, decided to com clean to him.
"My mom, asks for my dowry, since she have known that we are engaged to be married soon."
"What's to worry about? I can give her what she wants. I have accumulated much wealth since I became famous, hehehe" bragged Karl.
"It's not the issue of whether we can afford or not of what she's asking. For we can definitely afford it. However, it just feels like she's selling me, her own daughter, to you. Since all she's after is money."
Karl thought for a second. "Hmmm, how about we shall give her some amount of money, it would appear to her as your "dowry", but at the same time, give her some terms and conditions you could think of, just like how you did to me in my visa?"
"Hmmm, would she abide the terms and conditions then?"
"You know your mother better than me."
He was right. After all, money was all her mother after of. So it would be easier to lure her mother into her conditions then. She smiled briefly at the thought, and thanked Karl for his brilliant idea.

After hearing momsie Mione on the phone, the nasty words she throw at her daughter, and the furious look of her face, Jen couldn't help but secretly smiled a villainous smile.
In her inner thoughts, "This is just the beginning of her mischievous plan. Mj will be devastated if she will know that she's the culprit of it"
Why would she care about Mj then? Ah, the hell with her! Why does she have to be married twice when she, Jen, have never married yet?
Envy developed much in her heart.
She can't help it. She's beautiful too. She even thought that she's more way beautiful than Mj. She just have not met her Mr. Right or, her Mr. Right didn't found her yet. Either way, she became envious to Mj.
She deserves to be happy first of her own lovelife, than Mj. It felt like a competition of love and time that she has to get married before Mj could marry the second time. Or better yet, she might think of some villainous ways of snatching Karl away from Mj, just to delay thier wedding and have the possibility of having Karl to marry her instead. "Hmmm, seems like a good plan, hehehe" she said to herself.

"Why not call your mom and set up a dinner meeting with her? I'll be there too but I will be in disguise at a distance and will not reveal myself, unless necessary," Karl suggested.
"What....call her now?"
"Yes, why not?"
"Hmmm, you really want me to do this?"
"Yes" nodded Karl.
"Alright, I'll do exactly just as you suggested. If all fails, don't blame me"

Having Karl's suggestion and support, she then dialed her mom's number.
Her call was picked up quickly by her mom.
"Mj, is that you calling me?"
"Yes, mom it's me"
"Oh thank God, you finally did after all these ages!"
"Mom, listen, can we have a dinner meeting tomorrow and discuss some regarding my upcoming marriage and the dowry that you asked for?"
Mom Mione was startled a bit and thought this is something new from Mj. But she quickly regained herself and replied "Hmmm have you finally decided to make terms with me?"
"Mom, just come to our dinner meeting and we will discuss it then"
"Okay then, I will definitely come. See you!"

And their call ended. Little did Momsie Mione knew that Mj have prepared some terms and conditions for her. She's so excited to finally, she will receive a dowry, a huge amount of money that she can extort from Mj. And with that thought, she became happy. She became happy to the point of she's singing her hearts content. She's singing the song "I Will Survive"....
