57 Screaming

Karl continued to be patiently waiting for Mj to wake up and at the same time, waiting for their daughter to be born. And while waiting, he continued to sing songs, talks and touches them everyday.

For in everyday, he receives some kicks from Mj's tummy, that means his daughter is responding to his touch and acknowledging him. It gives him a unique kind of joyfulness feeling in his heart. And sometimes he have also seen several times, Mj smiles. So it doubled his joyfulness and excitement hoping so much for the two.

2 months after....

All of a sudden, Karl heard a rapid movement of Mj's heart on the monitor. Followed by a loud moan from Mj even if her eyes are still close. Her legs are slightly moved and her arms are moving too. It looks like she's struggling on something but feels like in shackles that couldn't move that much.

He then called for the doctor and nurse to attend and check on her.

After the doctor checked, "She is going through labor pains. She will give birth soon."

"Nurse, prepare the operating room immediately. If she will continue to be still unconcious while laboring, we will have no choice, but to do a ceasarian surgery."

"Yes doc." the nurse obeyed immediately, while the doctor stayed by Mj's side to keep monitoring on her.

Mj continued to moan with eyes closed, but have increased her legs and arms movements and struggled.

Karl is in shock. He did not know what to do and just allowed the doctor and nurses to take care of Mj. While he is just sitting in the corner in silence.

The doctor have him signed some papers authorizing them to execute what's necessary for Mj's case, and he just silently signed it.

The moment he signed it, she was immediately brought to the operating room leaving Karl in a blank mind, outside.

Ja, who was among the nurses who has been taking care of her, is the one so vocal to talk to the unconcious Mj.

"Bff, hang on there. You'll gonna give birth to your daughter. Wish you could wake up then to give birth to her."

The moment Ja finished her statement, Mj, opened her eyes, and gave out a loud scream.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh"

Karl outside could clearly hear Mj's screaming. "What, Mj have awaken?" Overwhelmingly Karl is in mixed emotions.

"Push, bff, push!"

"Push, Mj, push."

"Keep pushing Mj, almost there!"

Doctors and nurses helped her.

Her last blow and big scream made her gave birth successfully to a beautiful daughter, and then she passed out after.

"Uha, uha, uha, uha, uha." baby cries could be heard.

Karl upon hearing the baby cries, his heart skipped a bit. Unexplainable joy and excitement filled his heart. He is now a father.

Meanwhile, inside the operating room, Mj is back to being unconscious again. Her vital signs is stable but still is not awake.

The doctors were amazed that she have awaken only for the entire moment of giving birth and then went back to her being unconscious state after successfully delivered her baby. It's almost like a call of nature that she has to give birth and then went back to her sleep soon after. They were also astonished of the bravery of Mj inspite of her condition.

After the baby got cleaned, they put the baby in Mj's chest, enough for the baby to feel her warmth, but after 5 minutes of seeing Mj still not responding, they took the baby out and gave her to Karl instead.

"Karl, Mj have only awaken during giving birth, but after giving birth she went back to her being unconscious state, your baby girl has felt her mother's warmth for 5 minutes, but since Mj is not responding, we took your baby out, and here she is." the doctor explained and gave the baby to him.

With mixed emotions and tears, Karl asked, "How is Mj's condition, doc? Will she be awaken soon?"

"Her vital signs are stable, though we cannot really explain for the miracle that she has awaken for giving birth, and then went back to being unconscious afterwards. And we cannot also tell when would she be fully awaken then. I guess it's a miracle from God that made her give birth to your healthy baby girl, inspite of her condition."

Stunned, Karl couldn't help but bursts into tears. He was overwhelmed with joy of having his daughter in his hand but at the same time, he is also sad that Mj went back to being unconscious again....

He couldn't help but cry. For he has been longing for his wife to be awaken...

Earlier, when he heard Mj's screamed, he thought she had awakened. It turns out that she had awaken only to deliver their baby and went back to her unconscious state afterwards...
