34 Preparations

The next moments of Karl's thoughts, he couldn't focus as much. He was too bothered in his mind of what happened earlier at the fitting room. How did it happened? It's too much of "accidentally" happened really. He couldn't process it much in his mind, not to be bothered. In reality, he was actually bothered, somewhat embarassed, and felt awkward towards Jen. But not sure if it was guilt feeling really. It just felt like awkwardly weird!

Mj, noticing Karl in that state, couldn't help but asked, "Karl, honey, are you okay? Is there something bothering you?"

Hearing Mj questioned Karl, Jen couldn't help but smiled a bit, but just holding it as to not show it in her face that she's actually feeling happy and successful. This could just be a start, the beginning of her victory. "Soon, the Karl-Mj relationship will be ruined by her own hands in a not obvious way, hehehe," she thought to herself.

It took him minutes before he could answer Mj's question. "Hmmm, I just thought of something, but now it's not really important. Don't worry honey, it's not a big deal."

"Really? If it's not that important then why you looked like really bothered?" verified Mj.

"Really, it's not important now. Maybe I could tell you about it sometime later. As of now, we are busy preparing for our wedding, right?"

"Alright, okay, I trust you. Let's continue for the preparations then." Turning to Jen, she asked "Jen, where to next?"

Pretending to be nothing happened, Jen inquired " Are you guys really okay? We can call it a day and will continue tomorrow, if it stressed you what we did today?"

Karl was taken aback for a moment. In his thoughts, "How could Jen act like nothing happened then? Is she that shameless?"

Mj answered, "No, it doesn't really stressed me what we did today. In fact, it made me feel excited," as she curved her lips into a smile of excitement. Turning to Karl, "How about you honey, are you stressed?"

"Of course not! Seeing you happy and excited makes me feel more excited too. What makes you happy, honey, makes me happy too," assured Karl.

"Okay then. Jen, what's next for us to do then?"

"Next, we will go to the cake tasting then," briefly answered Jen with a fake smile. In her thoughts, "These two are too cheesy right in front of her. And Karl did say, it's not important what happened to them earlier? Hmm... we shall see on what's waiting for them next, hehehe."

"What are we waiting for? Let's go! Lead the way, Jen," Karl suggested.

"Okay, this way please."

So they drive going to the cake shop. Upon arriving at the cake shop, Mj could not help but be amazed at the different cake displays. It's almost like magical, like in a fairy tale, variety of cakes she can choose from.

With beautiful designs, some have fountains, some have flower bouquet designs, some have chocolate mill designs, some have heart designs, some have movie characters design, etc. But all of them are in a 5 layered cakes. You can even customized your cake design like if you want the figurines to be exactly a look-a-like of the couple to be wed, they could do that too.

"Wow! This is superb! I've never seen such a multitude of cakes with different designs, as huge and as beautiful as all of these I could lay my eyes on," Mj in awe, with her jaws slightly dropped.

"Yeah, yeah. Everything is in here. And so many variety of designs you can choose from. I bet, you could have all your hands full and yet you have not picked up yet the best of the best. hihihihi," teased Jen towards Mj while putting up a fake smile and a trying hard joke.

"Can we have cake tasting then?" Mj queeried.

"Yes, of course! I'll ask the manager to allow you and us to taste their best of the best cakes," offered Jen while at the back of her mind is saying to herself, "This is it! This is the right timing then. hehehehe." Jen grinning to herself and then left the two to look for the manager of the store.

Karl, however was not focus on the cakes. His thoughts are just focus on the two women in front of him, Mj and Jen. He is still not resolved on what happened earlier, it couldn't be that just "accidents." Somehow, as recalling it from his mind, he realized that it was not really "accidents", instead, it was intentional by Jen. And he felt guilty by not telling Mj about it.

Meanwhile, Jen was contemplating on her next move...

Little did she know that Karl already have realized that she had bad intentions on him... And that he is preparing himself anticipating on what's gonna be Jen's next move then...
