38 Mixed Emotions

Jen, although she was adviced to bedrest, could not rest herself at all. She was furious that her plan yesterday wasn't successful and that she ended up gaining a swollen-up-face from her fell on the floor with her face down. She didn't know that Karl's reflexes would be as quick as seconds, so she felt like she was the real victim here.

"How ungentleman he was. He didn't even help me get up from the fall and instead called a crew to help me, while he was doing lovey-dovey with Mj. Hmmpt, shameless!" pouted Jen.

She continued on her self-pity moments of contemplating, dragging her face down into an ugly frown as she still had her swollen-up face.

She kept on thinking, recalling the scenario yesterday and made her cry. Out of her mixed emotions of envy, jealousy, frustrations and self-pity, she burst out into tears! Although the swelling of her face have already subsided a little bit, crying more in self-pity, had made her eyes bulging and got a headache afterwards. So she fell asleep.

She was awaken by the sudden call from her phone...

"Hello, Jen, I heard about what happened to you, are you okay?" with a concerned tone of Mione.

"Momsie, yes, I'm feeling a bit better. Thank you so much for your concern. Momsie, you really care for me, not like Mj and Karl." pouted Jen like a kid with a pitiful tone of her voice.

"Why, what did actually happen Jen?"

"Momsie, when I accidentally tripped and falling on the floor, Karl exited himself and did not catch me and did not even help me get up. Instead, he called for a crew to help me out and turned to Mj to do lovey-dovey." confessed Jen with a little sobbing.

"What? How ungentleman and insensitive he is!" Mione was shocked.

"Indeed!I could have not fell my face on the floor if he did manage to catch me and helped me get up. But he didn't. Hmmpt!" cried Jen.

"What kind of a man he is? Mj should be warned of this. He might do the same to Mj in the future. He doesn't deserve to marry Mj!" Mione got mad.

With the plan in her mind, Jen acted and sounded as sobbing in tears, but inside her thoughts, "Good, Momsie's siding with me will be used to ruin Karl-Mj relationship. Hehehe."

"I'm gonna call Mj about this. Don't worry my dear, Jen, I am on your side." consoled Jen.

"Okay, thank you very much, Momsie. You're really a good mom. Mj is so bless to have you as a mother. And even if I'm not your biological daughter, you treated me like your own daughter. And I greatly appreciate that," pretended Jen to be appreciative of Mione's concern to her so she can win her heart and manipulated Mione to side with her so she (Mione) can go against her own daughter Mj and Karl's relationship.

"Of course, I love you as my own daughter, Jen. You have been there for me too. I'ts just but right to take care of you as well."

"Thank you Momsie." continued her sobs to make her sound like she is the victim here and she is in a pitiful situation then.

Upon hearing Jen's sobs, Mione felt like her heart was crashed. She felt and took pity of Jen. So she assured Jen of her concern to her(Jen) instead of making her(Jen) feel pitied of by her(Mione).

"Okay, get some more rest my dear Jen. I'll deal with them then. You take care of yourself."

"Okay, Momsie, you too take care. Don't be overwhelmed with your emotions, this can be resolved soon."

"Okay, bye."

"Bye"

After their call ended, Jen grinned wide and brightened her eyes.

"Good for them. Now Karl-Mj will have to deal with Momsie. It's good that I have Momsie sided with me. I could manipulate her and soon the situation between Karl-Mj will be crushed under my hands. Hehehe. Karl-Mj, you wait and see how I will break you up, and with the help of Momsie Mione, I will surely not fail but will succeed. Hehehehe" Jen spoke to herself with a crazy grinned.

Little did she know that no matter how Momsie Mione will intervene the Karl-Mj relationship, it could not be destroyed as easy as just like that. The fact that Mione have already agreed to Mj's terms beforehand, it would be so much harder then if Mione would try to intervene with them two. Added to the fact that Karl-Mj's love for each other had been tested through the years of hardships and sacrifices and had been able to surpass and overcome them all, to the point of no one could ever, ever break them two apart...
