11 Meanwhile

Meanwhile, Mj was left puzzled being ignored by Karl. She then proceeded to Kevin's room and seeing Kevin in a weak state, she checked on her vital signs. But then she was stopped by Kevin's touch asking her to come closer to him for he has something to say. She then put her ear near to his mouth.

"Mj, I told Karl everything.I told him all your sacrifices.I told him that you had married me in order to justify your longer stay here. I told him that you love him much that enabled you to endure such hardships you already had. I..."

Suddenly he was stopped by Mj's hands...

"I know, you said, you told him everything. So it's enough, you don't have to reeterate it to me again. Besides, you are too weak now to say many, many words. It must have worked you up exerting much effort to say those words. You need to rest now. But before that would you like to eat first? Cereal?" she gently kissed his forehead then.

"No. I don't wanna eat. I want to say thank you for all the sacrifices you did to me too. Though you have not loved me, but you took good care of me and served me as my good wife. Although I did not dare to take your virginity coz I know you loved Karl, but in my heart I have loved you too. And experiencing your loving care is more than enough for me."

Mj is beggining to sob in tears already but without uttering any words, she continued to listen to Kevin while tears flowed in her eyes.

"Mj, I have written in my last will and testament leaving all my properties and wealth in your name. Since I don't have a son/daughter of my own, I have given it all to you."

"What? You don't have to do that Kevin, I dont need it all. What you have done to me is already enough for me " protested Mj.

"Consider it as a gift from me!" he breathed his last breath.

Oh no! Is he dead? That was his last breath? Those were his last words? Puzzled and panicked, she burst in weeping.....

"Kevin, why did you have to leave me in this moment?huhuhuhu"

She then remembered to call his doctor.

And upon doctor's confirmation of his death, she weep again...

And when her tears have already dried, she called the funeral parlor and have them arranged his body to be cremated right away. For this was his wish to be done that way.

Furthermore, she contacted his lawyer and signed the papers she needed to sign to recieve all his properties and wealth. She can't believe Kevin has a lot of wealth. In a blink of an eye, she's a millionnaire now!

All of a sudden she remembered Karl. Where is he? She run to the neighbor and tried entering Karl's house, but it was locked from the outside. She tried calling Karl but nobody answered. Until she heard "the number you dialed out of coverage area...please try your call later..."

She tried many times calling him over the night, but still out of coverage area...

She literally fell asleep at the frontyard of Karl's house. When she woke up and realized she's still at Karl's frontyard, with the sun shining on her face, she got up and walked out proceeding to Kevin's house.

She then, contacted Ja her friend, who got married with a New Zealander. She searched her friend on fb messenger and Hola! She's online.

She immediately, tapped the icon for video call and called her friend.

"Ja, can I come to you in New Zealand?"

"Yes of course. But when?"

"Right now, I will book my ticket in going there. Just give me specific directions, address, name of the airport and so on"

"Are you serious?" Ja, protested.

"Look clearly at my face and see for yourself, if I'm serious or not!" pouted Mj.

"I see, you are really serious." while watching MJ closely.

"I need you my friend! I just needed a way out from all these predicament I am experiencing.I'll tell you the details, once I'm there with you."

"Okay, here's the address and specific name of the airport you should go, I typed and sent it to your messenger. Once you booked your ticket text me the flight # and I will meet you here at the Airport."

"Okay, thanks my friend.I'll keep you updated."

"You take care of yourself and have a safe trip. And see you here."

She bid bye and ended the call.

She then booked her ticket and got the first flight in the morning tomorrow.

The next morning comes and she flew all the ways to New Zealand....
