58 In Her World

Upon hearing her baby's first cries, Mj, while still being unconscious, suddenly felt a strong urge to touch her baby. She moaned and struggled with all her might.

All of a sudden, a strong energy seems pulling her spirit out of her body and she have successfully been out and detached from her own body. She turned around and panicked a bit, to have been able to watch her own body laying down still unconscious. It felt so weird! She raised her brows in confusement...

She looked at the monitor and felt a great relief, after seeing at the monitor that her vital signs are still stable even if she's out of her body.

"So I'm not dead yet. My consciousness is just temporarily out of my body 'coz of my strong urge to touch my newborn baby since they took her away from me momentarily," she thought.

She tried to go back to her own body but to no avail, she felt like she's a thin air that passes through back and forth her body. She felt like she has her own world in another dimension or somewhat like that.

She then tried to touch other things, she tried to get the bottled water on the side table, but she couldn't even hold it. Her hand just passes through it. She tried to sit on the chair but it felt like she's sinking underneath the chair coz she easily have passed through it.

She roam around, wanting to see her husband and daughter but they are not in the room she's in.

She tried to reach the door knob of the door to open it, but her hand just pass through it. So she decided to try to go pass through the door, and to her astonishment, she did.

She saw Ja at the Nurse's Station and tried to hug her friend but to no avail.

"Ja, my bff, I've missed you! Where's my husband and daughter?"

But Ja couldn't hear her nor feel her hug. She just pass through. So she decided to look for her husband Karl and her daughter. She continued to roam around the hospital.

Not long after, she have found Karl looking at the glass window of the Nursery room. She tried to give an embrace and kisses to Karl, and yet couldn't.

"Mj, if only you have awakened, you could see it yourself, how beautiful our daughter is. She's a combination of us." Karl started to talk by himself, not knowing that Mj could actually hear him and see him.

She turned to the direction where Karl's eyes are fixed. There lays a beautiful baby girl, sleeping peacefully like not being bothered that she's being watched by both her parents.

Mj's eyes fixed in amazement of what she have seen right in front of her. Karl was right. Their daughter is beautiful and is a combination of them two.

Their daughter has a white complexion. There were not so thick golden brown hairs like Karl's. Her eyes are like Mj's, having chinese eyes. Her nose seem to have Karl's nose, long and somewhat pointed. And her lips are like Mj's heart-shaped lips. Over-all she's amazingly beautiful and cute.

Mj felt like her heart is melting in love upon seeing her daughter. She then pass through the glass windows and tried to touch her baby.

Though she knows she couldn't really hold her, but she put her arms steadily in a position that she's seemingly wrapping her baby into her arms. At least in this way, she can imagine that she's holding her daughter for real.

Minutes have passed, she's still 'holding' her baby. She loves the feeling of being a new mother. Though physically, she's not actually in contact with her yet.

Karl then, walked away from the Nursery window and proceeded back at Mj's private room.

Upon seeing Karl walked away, Mj stopped trying to hold her baby, kissed her baby, and proceeded to chase after Karl. She then realized that Karl proceeded to her room then. And she followed him.

Having passed through the door, she found Karl sitting beside Mj's bed, holding, caressing, and kissing her hand.

Karl's touch and caressed have sent a tingling sensation even to her spirit that's watching them. She felt astonished that inspite of her spirit is somehow out from her body, she, being a spirit, could still feel Karl's touch to her.

"Mj, honey, our daughter is really beautiful, she's got your eyes and lips. I got her hairs, nose and skin. She's a perfect combination of us." How I wish you could be awaken soon, so that you can hold her and nurse her and give your motherly love to her. I'm sure you couldn't get enough of her then." Karl in a bittersweet smile.
