54 I Need You
When Karl arrived at the hospital in the morning, Arthur, is there visited his sister, Mj who is still unconscious. Her tummy is bigger now for she's already 7 months pregnant, while still in coma for 4 months already.
Seeing the situation of his sister, Arthur couldn't help but teary- eyed. He couldn't imagine how strong his sister was, inspite of her state. And seeing Karl who stood by her and never cease to love her, took cared of her, made him felt grateful to his brother-in law. For he himself admits that he couldn't have done it himself the way Karl did.
"Thank you very much, bro for you never left her side." he tapped Kar'ls shoulder as he thanked him.
"Actually, it's her that makes me stronger, coz I know she's fighting on her life for our child to be born yet. Besides, 3 years ago, when I was in a coma, she was there and took care of me. I couldn't imagine how she sacrificed herself, and the hardships she had gone through, to be able to have taken cared of me. So, she's actually the source of my inspiration to never give up on her and our child." Karl explained
"I see, but still thanks. I know it's been hard for you too. How about the child inside her, what's the gender?" Arthur smiled in a questioning tone.
"It has to be found out yet. She's scheduled to be ultrasound today at 3p.m. to check the baby's gender then."
"Okay, let me know through our whatsapp messenger, will you? 'Coz I have to get going now and be back to my work."
"Okay, will do message you. Thanks for the visit."
Arthur then, nodded and went out.
Ja, and her family entered the room for a visit too. Little Michael then, touched gently Mj's hand, "Auntie, please hold on there, I'm excited to see your child soon. we could be playmates.hehehe." he then, gently touched Mj's belly.
Karl, seeing what Little Michael did, and hearing what he said to Mj, got excited too. He then proceeded to touch the kid's temple and assured, "Don't you worry, they will both be fine and you will be able to play with my child sooner or later."
"Okay, Uncle Karl." the kid gave out a pure smile.
"I told them both that we will know today the gender of your child and they got excited, so they came to visit." with an excitement, Ja, explained.
"Okay, thanks." Looking at his watch, "In few minutes, she will have her ultrasound done. We shall wait then."
After he have said it, the door opened and 1 hospital crew came in, "Please excuse me, but Ms, Mj will be taken to the sonogram room now."
"Okay, I'll accompany her." at the same time, glancing to Ja and her husband George.
"Okay, we will wait here, don't worry about us." smiled George and Ja.
The crew then carefully wheeled Mj's bed out and Karl followed.
At the sonogram room, Karl was shown by the doctor, his child's movements at the 3D monitor. His heart skipped a bit on excitement.
"Your child is very healthy and actively responding. It's a.... girl! You will have a healthy girl. Mr. Karl, I suggest, you should also talk to the baby inside to introduce yourself as the father. Babies inside thier mother's womb are actually sensitive on thier sense of touch and hearing. You can touch her tummy as much as you'd like, while talking to your daughter inside. And since, you're a rock star, you can sing to her too. Don't limit yourself." advised the doctor.
"Really? Okay, doc I will do your advise then. Thanks, doc."
"No, probs. We're done with our check up. I'll give you the copy of her sonogram results then later."
"Okay, doc." as he speak, the door opened then the hospital crew, crew unlocked Mj's bed and wheeled it out. Karl then followed with a great smiles, he couldn't help in excitement.
The moment they entered the room, Karl then excitedly announced to Ja and her family the news. "It's a girl, and it's very healthy and active."
"Really? Wow, you will soon have a Little Mj then.Congratulations!hihihihi." giggled Ja. While George and Little Michael were just smiling, trying to hold shyly thier excitement too.
"It's a girl. It's a girl! My playmate would be a girl. But it's alright.hehehehe" chanted Little Michael in excitement.
The three adults in the room laughed in excitement with him as well.
And after few more minutes of chit chatting, Ja, and her family bid thier goodbyes and left.
Karl, remembered what the doctor had advised earlier, so he asked his bodyguard to get his guitar at the luggage compartment of his car, to bring it to him. The bodyguard then proceeded, and not long after, brought back Karl's guitar.
"Thank you."
"My pleasure sir!" while he stepped aside.
Karl then, proceeded to touch Mj's belly on his right hand while his left had is holding the guitar, "Baby, Daddy is gonna sing for you and for your mommy okay? Daddy loves both of you, so much." Karl felt a small kick from Mj's tummy, indicating her response, that made Karl smile purely. "Okay baby, here we go...." Karl then began strumming his guitar and began singing the song entitled "I Need You"....
