19 His Manager

Greg, Karl's manager, grew up in London. Although his parents were not wealthy, he graduated Bachelor of Commerce Major in Business Management with the honor of Magna Cum Laude.

He had no talents in singing, but he have relatives, specifically his cousins that owns a Music Industry Company.

He was at the Music Industry office of his cousins, when Karl arrived for an audition. Because his cousins are so busy of so many music projects and albums, his cousins decided to put Greg in charge of the audition.

And so when Karl won from the audition, Greg became his talent manager since then. He has been doing his job very well, managing and arranging music projects and albums for Karl. And he never failed to give an all-out support and made promotions for Karl's talents to make it known worldwide.

Just recently, he arranged Karl's World Concert Tours. Among the countries they had visited and had concerts on, only in this country New Zealand, they had encountered problems on their visas. And only this female administrator of the embassy had made a deal with him.

Being with Karl as his manager, for he have known him for 2 years already, he have never seen him pursue a woman like this.

"What made her special then?" curiousity perked into Greg's mind.

But then he was reminded of what Karl did said that he will do it his way, so he decided to not make a move then, unless, if he is asked to.

So the next succeeding days, they were busy preparing for Karl's concert on this country.

Thousands of tickets have already been sold and still selling more before the concert date.

Karl asked from him for 4 VIP tickets to whom he will give for free, he don't know and he didn't dared to ask.

He just thought Karl might have some few people whom he knew, that will watch his concert then.

And so, as the day for the concert is coming near, he thinks everything is all set up then.

Rehearsals have already been done too.

"Manager Greg, could you please send this envelope, together with this bouquet of flowers, personally to this address?" Karl suddenly asked him to do so.

Reading the name of the reciepient Mj the female administrator, he exclaimed, "What? Why not send it through a courier then, or deliver it yourself?"

"I wanted it to be sent that way. Besides, if I deliver it myself, there are many fans out there and would only create chaos and disturbance on Mj's part. She wouldn't want it to be exposed that way."

With a surrendered tone Greg obeyed, "Okay then" and proceeded out.

He drove out to Mj's address and arrived at her home. He went out of his car, bringing with him the envelope and the bouquet of flowers, he pressed on the doorbell shouting "Special delivery!"

Soon the door was opened, and Mj was amazed.

"Manager Greg, how come you personally delivered these?" Mj in astonishment.

"Karl wanted me to deliver this for you in his behalf, since he don't want you to be possibly disturbed by his fans"

"Oh I see, it's from Karl. How could I have not known it?" scratched her head a bit.

"What's in the envelope?" inquired Ja who came out from behind.

"I don't know"

"Quick open it!"

When she saw that Mj was reluctant to open it, she grabbed it from her and opened it herself. And read what's written.

"Dear Mj, take these tickets and flowers as my gifts to you. Take with you, your friend Ja and her family to watch my concert tomorrow.

Love,

Karl"

All three of them are in great astonishment and became speechless...

After few minutes... Ja broke the silence by her joyful scream..

"Eeeeeeeeeehhhhhh"

"Karl still loves you, Mj! He still does!" Teased Ja.

While Mj was just shyly smiling at the side, Greg was in amazement...

"W-what? They have known each other before? Did you mean they were lovers, before? I didn't know that!" Greg exclaimed while scratching his head in amazement.

"Yes, they were lovers before.hihihihi."Ja, giggled.

And Mj was just continously smiling wide, but didn't say a word. As the saying goes : 'Silence means yes'. So she's just smiling silently.

"Well, that explains why Karl was pursuing her this much! Tsk Tsk." He thought to himself while nodding his head.

And then said, "Okay I see it now. I see. he he he he he he he." He literally laughed it out emphasizing each syllables of his laugh as if implying of having understood it very well the plans that Karl has to pursue Mj. And he was glad to discover this the other side of Karl and the love of his life, Mj.
