Dreaming

Karl didn't know that Mj heard it all even if she has not awaken yet. She heard him pouring out his feelings through singing to her. She felt Karl's heart and love for her. She felt his agony and longing for her to wake up from seemingly a long dream of hers. For she has been dreaming for a long time.

And eventhough she tried to be awaken from her 'dreams', but to no avail, her body could not move. She couldn't even lift her own fingers no matter how she tried to do...

She felt heavy in her tummy for she knows her baby inside is growing alive. She felt the baby's heartbeat and its kicks from time to time. She felt and heard it all, and yet, she couldn't move. All she could do for now is to release some tears with her eyes closed still. For deep inside her, she's crying too. She felt helpless!

How she wanted to comfort Karl in his despair. How she wished herself to be awaken too and be back in his loving arms. How she wished she could again sing together with him too.

She has recalled in her mind what she had felt too when Karl was in coma. There were sleepless nights. There were sacrifices she had made and though it was tiring for her, she never gave up on Karl. She never gave up on their love. It was hard for her then. It must be harder for Karl now, that he is not only taking care of her, but also on their baby inside her.

She then mentally talked to her baby inside her, "Baby, just hang on there, be strong and continue growing as you will come out from me soon and will see the world. We will survive and overcome all these and will become a happy and loving family. Your dad and I are happy and excited to have you. You hear it, he was singing to you and me, for he loves us both so much."

And as a respond, her baby inside her did some kicks, and she felt it too. And she tried to smile.

To his amazement, Karl saw Mj's smile and then noticed her tears too. He couldn't help but called the doctor to have a check on her. And so the doctor came.

After checking her up, aside from having been able to see Mj's smile and tears, nothing else followed.

So the doctor concluded that it was just part of Mj's response to Karl's touching and singing stimulation on her.

"Keep talking to her, touching her, and continue what you are doing like singing to her. For it stimulates her senses to move. Sooner or later, she will be able to wake up, coz her senses will eventually respond to your stimulations."

"Thank you doc.I will do more then."

After the doctor left, he then continued to sing some more songs to Mj. Having seen Mj's smile and tears have added to his hopes that one day she will really wake up. For the meantime, he decided to patiently continued showing and expressing his love for Mj through the best way he could, through singing.

And so he continued singing. Anyone outside the room could hear him singing so good. It's almost like he is doing a concert at the hospital for he performed live, only to Mj's room, only for Mj.

And so the nurses couldn't help but giggled in enjoyment. For aside from they admired Karl's love towards Mj, they are also enjoying the seemingly 'concert' of Karl, for free. And so, they are inspired and smiling while working...

In everyday that Karl is singing to his wife, they (nurses), were never tired of hearing him sing songs to his wife...

For they wished in their hearts that they too, could find a man who would truly and sacrificially love them like Karl did to his wife...

And now they are hearing Karl once again singing to his wife. He is singing the song entitled "No Matter What" by Boyzone...
