24 Almost Everyone, Except One

Almost everyone around them were happy and overjoyed knowing that the lovebirds in front of them are engaged to be married. They were in awe of how the love story of the couple had grown from tragedy to an everlasting love. There must be a "Forever".

Almost everyone were happy for them, almost everyone... except one... except Jen. For in Jen's heart she was filled with jealousy and envy. She was envious because, she have never been married yet, not even once, even if she's stunningly beautiful too. She couldn't find an ideal good man for her that truly loves her to the max, that deserves her 'head-over heels love' as well.

While here's Mj, she will be married for the second time, that easy, and to the famous rock star handsome Karl! She couldn't believe it how Mj was blessed with the love of her life, and Jen herself has none.

"What in the world was wrong with her? Nah, there's nothing wrong with her. It's just don't make any sense!", she thought to herself.

While outside, her face was smiling awkwardly, but inside her mind and heart, she was furious. She couldn't accept the fact, that at her age right now, no one yet deserving, wants to marry her. She couldn't accept that until now, her "Forever" is yet nowhere to be found. She couldn't accept that she ain't have the love of her life up to this moment...

Suddenly, a plan have formed in her mind. And she will do it quietly. And she will do it sneakily too. No one will ever know what she had planned to do. Not even the readers here would know. And that's what she thinks, suppossedly....

She suddenly grinned to herself...

No one had ever noticed her that she walked away from their reunion. 'Coz everybody was happy and she was not, it was easy for her to disappear from the group.

She then contacted the vicious mother of Mj and informed her that Mj is now engaged to be married to the famous rock star Karl. She knew that Mj's mother is viscious in regards to money 'coz she's greedy for money.

"What? She will be married for the second time, when I haven't even recieved a dowry[1] from her first marriage! I must insistently asked for her dowry this time, considering that Karl is a famous rock star, he must be a millionnaire by now."

Jen, with a wide grin smiled and acted as if giving her sympathy to Mj's mother, she said " Yes, Momsie, I think so too, that you deserve to ask Karl for Mj's dowry."

Little did Mj's mother know that Jen was fanning her into fire to cause conflicts between them mother and daughter's relationship.

She acted like she's helping Mj's mother, but behind it, she's got wrong motives in doing so. She's like an innocent sheep outwardly, but underneath it's sheep's cover, was actually a ferocious wolf ready to bite it's prey or it's enemy. One way or another, she will have to do it this way... and that's her final decision... To pursue for the break-up of Karl-Mj's relationship, by hook or by crook. It doensn't really matter in what way or how she will do it. What matter's most would be the result of it. And then when she would be able to attain her expected results, she would be happy to her hearts content, and would probably marry Karl or somebody else then....Hehhehe... she grinned again of that thought...

On the other side, Mj's mother didn't know that late Kevin was a millionnaire and that Mj became the sole heir of his wealth. For Mj didn't came home to the Philippines after her first husband's death. Instead, she went to New Zealand and lived there for God knows what was Mj doing there.

And if not for the reunion that Mj has to attend to and come back to the Phillippines where her family and home was, she wouldn't be able to know the whereabouts of her daughter then. Thanks then to Jen that keeps her updated of her daughter.

Sometimes she wishes that instead of Mj, Jen would be her daughter 'coz she's so concern about her. While her own daughter had no regard on her own mother as she.

In her own eyes, Mj, stopped caring about her as her mother since two years ago and until now. 'Coz she stopped sending them money as financial support since then. And she stopped communicating with them too.

Only from Jen that she knew Mj was coming back to the Phillippines for the reunion. Even then, Mj didn't contact her ever.

So her, and Jen had agreed in connivance to boldly ask Karl soon for Mj's dowry. They had made a mischievous plan on how to do it... and will execute the plan soon and very soon...
