A Feeling

In this other world, in another place in the kingdom of Entemus was another party of knights and heroes. This time, the party was on the surface. They have recently came out of a forest and was on their way back to the Capital city.

After 30 minutes of walking from the mouth of the forest, the Lancer, Kouji Tanegachi, complained to the knight in charge that they should stop for a moment and rest. The knight agreed to Kouji's complaint and ordered everyone to stop for the moment.

"Everyone! For 20 minutes, we will stop here and recuperate. Don't wander too far. Got it?"

"Yes, sir!", everyone yelled in unison.

"Finally, some rest.", sighed a woman carrying a black bow. She had black leather armor on to compliment her bow. It was the Sniper, Miyako Hiromi.

Everyone in the party looked for their place to rest. Luckily, the spot where they stopped had a few trees in it. Hiromi made her way to a tree where no one was resting. She sat down under the tree and leaned against the tree's trunk. She let's out a heavy breath, trying to comfort herself.

Right after that, another hero approached her and asked if she can sit beside her. That hero wore a white armor that you can compare to that of a holy armor. It wasn't that big enough like the armor of the knights. She had chestnut hair and gray eyes. It was the Battle Maiden, Hitomi Ayaka

Hiromi let Ayaka sit beside since they were both girls and friends. Ayaka helped herself and sat down opposite to where Hiromi was. As she leaned to the tree's trunk, a refreshing breeze blew throughout the valley.

"Ahhh...what a refreshing breeze.", Hiromi said in a relaxed tone.

Hiromi was feeling the coldness of the breeze but Ayaka wasn't.

"Ayaka, what's wrong?"

Ayaka was standing in a daze. She was standing very still with a shocked expression on her face that made Hiromi stand.

"Ayaka...Hey, Ayaka...What's wrong with you?" Hiromi asked while grabbing both Ayaka's shoulders.

Ayaka faced Hiromi with a sad expression in her face. Tears start to drop off Ayaka's eyes.

Seing this, Hiromi got worried and called out loudly to Ayaka.

"...Ren is..."

Those words were the only thing that came out of Ayaka's mouth. Hiromi wondered why Ayaka mentioned Ren when he wasn't with them.

"Ren..."
