1 The Prince

The kingdom of Pranth was unique in many ways. It had formed after the 3 friends had joined their kingdom into one. The three friends were One Hindi addressed as the Raja, another was Muslim adressed as the Sultan and the third was Christian addressed as the King. The three Emperors ruled the kingdom together with their wives. All three kings had been blessed with 3 sons and 3 daughters. The futures of the kingdom.

The three princes were Shaurya, Salim and Sammuel. The three princesses were Rohini, Rashim and Roop.

Shaurya was standing in the chamber with the three emperors when his father, the Raja said, "Son, Salim has already had his coronation ceremony. You are next in line. For the coronation, as well as for marriage."

" We had hoped that you would find somebody for yourself by now like your brother Salim." his mother the Raani said, "but since that has not happened, we have to take matters into our own hand."

"We have invited the kings and the childern of the surrounding reputable nations to your coronation. We expect you to look for a princess you would like as your future bride.", said his mother.

Sammuel who was standing in the corner, found all this very funny. And was thanking the gods that he had another year before he had anything to worry about.

Sahurya didnot want to do this. But he camnot refuse his mother. Especially not infront of his father, who adored the very ground his beloved wife walked on and would accept nothing beyond her wishes.

Contrary to his parents' beliefs, Shaurya had hoped to find a love like his parents had, a love so strong that all the power in the world could not corrupt his father, never caused him to stray from his mother or to take another wife as was usually the custom.

In fact none of the 3 emperors had taken another wife. Their devotion to their spouse was viewed with awe by some and by some with envy.
