Chapter 44(A)

I was so scared and didn’t stop pacing around my room which now had a pink theme and would what society define as “Princess or Girly theme”. But that’s not what I cared about that time. Not that I cared about it at all. I was just worried because I couldn’t hear my mother scream. I didn’t know if it was a good thing or bad. There was a probability that she had kicked out Ryan and was preparing herself for the restrictions she was gonna put on me. But knowing my mother if Ryan wasn’t at home, she would have come straight up the stairs to yell at me.

I sat on the bed but the silence in the house my eating me up. I wanted to eavesdrop on the conversation but my mother would literally get angrier so I decided to just wait impatiently for her to raise her voice so I could get the excuse to go down but that didn’t happen as I heard her.

“Noah, come down.” Her voice made me shot up from my position as I sprinted downstairs without taking a second to breathe.
