1 A Misplaced Substitute

December in Austral city witnessed freezing coldness.

The whole city was covered by heavy snow, which added some extent of serenity and loneliness to this cold night.

"It Hurts..." A girl bent her body with piriful quivering voice. Sweat on her forehead excuded through ber pores.

The girl's phone screen lit up for a while, indicating a message is received.

When the girl saw the sender and then the message, she instantly got up, dressed without waking the man up and moved off the quivering bed.

She looked back to that man who is sound asleep in the bed.

"Have you done the work?" another girl was standing by the door with a cap and a pair of sunglasses.

That girl lay prone furtively beside her and inquired carefully.

"Are you sure?" the girl wearing sunglasses grinned and suddenly stood upright.

"Yep, he's still asleep.

"Okay, you can leave." the other girl was hurrying inside.

But the first girl did not move a step, "where's the money?"

After hearing that, the girl wearing sunglasses frowned and then took her cap and sunglasses off.

These two girls by the door both looked the same..

If you must tell them apart, that girl who had been waiting outside presented both a posture and a sense of superiority.

"How come I trick you into this? My dad has the money, you go get it from him. Now get out of my way! If you ruin my plan, you will be dead!" the other girl answered viciously.

"Okay," after saying this she stteped aside and the girl enter the room.

The girl shoved the cap and sunglasses to the first girl hand, the turned back and stormed into the room and slammed the door.

The girl outside the room smiled faintly with a lingering bitterness. But then she put on the cap and sunglasses, starightned up and left without any hesitation.

Sitting in the cab, a girl with her head turned to the window with phone in one hand was listning quitely to the person on the other end, while her eyes kept staring at the large white snowflakes falling outside the window.

She like winter snowflakes, beautiful but cold fom inside. Though she was only 20 years old her heart was too cold for a person of her age.

"Dr. wang, don't worry. i will pay the for the medicines by today. But please take care of my mother. I will be back in sometime." the girl said to the dotor on the other end.

The girl name is Linda Yun, she was the same girl who was in the room with the man yesterday night.

The man was called Michael Huo, 26 years old.

The other girl was called Mary Yun, also 20 years old.

The two girls were identical twins.
