The welcoming part was held in one of the seven star hotel "Go's International" owned by the Go family itself.
Samantha walked inside with steady steps wearing a sapphire blue off shoulder gown with her hair in a side braid.
As she walked inside the hall bustling with people of extraordinary status, she felt a little awkward she was not used to attending formal parties.
But she had to come, she had to make use of this chance
As she was looking around someone grabbed her hand from behind, she turned around
"You are here" the gentle voice belonged to Mrs Go
"Mrs Go" she nodded her head politely
"Oh my my!!! Sam you look stunning" Mrs Go complemented her "SPIRIT right?"
"Yes" Sam nodded her head again
It was quite weird between them one was overly effectionate while the other was a bit much polite
Mrs Go dragged her towards her son saying young people shouldn't be bother with an oldie.
Ethan was looking at the entrance from time to time. No matter who he was chatting with, his focus was only on the entrance to find the person he wanted to see the most.
His mother had told him before that she was coming to the party, but it had already started and she was nowhere to see
But just as he was about to walk away, a girl in sapphire off shoulder dress walked in through the entrance. His heart skipped a beat looking at the enchanting beauty who had just descended from heaven. She looked ravishingly gorgeous and he was unable to avert his gaze. Same was the case for the entire hall, everybody was looking towards the beautiful girl, the hall immediately quieted down.
Under everyone's penetrating gaze she walked towards the centre gracefully with an aura of a princess
'Yes princess. My princess' Ethan smiled at his thought, she had already rejected him mercilessly and here he was...
"Honey here's your doctor. Take special care of her" Mrs Go winked at her son before walking away
Samantha eyed the person in front of her clad in black tuxedo, he looked devilishly handsome
"Hey" Ethan greeted her, before passing her a glass of red wine
"Hi" she replied sipping on her red wine
Hmmm!!! it tastes good...
It was awkward between them so she looked around to look for the person...
"Yo!! Dr Davis is here" Tang spoke excitedly walking towards them "You look stunning"
"Thanks" She looked behind Tang upon finding no one she clinked her wine glass with his and gulped down the content
Ethan:"....."
Tang:" ...."
Oh man!!! aren't you afraid of getting drunk
"Hey Sam!!" She turned around to find, it was Zach, she instantly smiled at him, mimicking him "Hey Zach!!"
His eyes stayed at her face for a moment before he looked away
Ethan's face turned dark , the kind of enthusiasm she shows to Zach she had never shown him. She looked really happy whenever she's around Zach, he stepped backward and walked away as he was afraid he would lose control and act rashly.
Tang watched his retreating figure while the two people were busy chatting happily, he sighed heavily.
"Zach... you remember we have met before?" Sam asked hesitantly
"????"
"When we were kids" she added
"We've met before?" he asked puzzled "I don't remember something like that"
Sam felt her chest tighten making it difficult for her to breathe she excused herself and walked towards the balcony.
