57 Happy ending
After lunch Isabella dragged Samantha to walked around the garden.
"I'll pick you up around eight in the morning, the day after tomorrow" Isabella said,
"Huh? Why?" Samantha asked puzzled
"Aren't we going on the cruise? Big brother mentioned last time, you forgot?" Isabella pouted
"Umm I guess I'll pass" Samantha said, sounding apologetic "I've something on"
"No way, Mia..." Isabella cried out "We haven't gone out in years, you are coming, that's it"
"..."
"C'mon lil sis you need to take a break once in a while"
"Alright" Samantha surrendered, she can never win against Bella
"Really?Then... Yuhan will also go right?" Isabella asked, shyly
"..."
"Mia, please convince him to go" Isabella used her super cute puppy dog eyes to plead
"..." Samantha glared at her "Bella, I guess your fiance will be there too"
"Ye...ah" she replied, hesitantly
"I don't know what to say" Samantha sighed
Bella was really precious to her, she didn't wish for her to get hurt.
Samantha compromised finally "Alright, I'll ask him to go" she paused "But on one condition. You'll confess, if he accepts, I'll be the happiest person apart from you. But if, Bella I'm saying if, his answer is not positive you'll put an end to your crush and move on with your life" She glanced at Isabella "Will you?"
"Alright" Isabella smiled bitterly, she had loved Yuhan for five years, its finally the right time to give a happy ending to their story
After chatting for a while, they walked back to the living room. Samantha left after bidding her farewell, prompting that she had other things to do.
She decided to check on Alex as she was free the whole day. She parked her Car inside the parking lot of a mall and then took a cab to the apartment building.
'Buzz Buzz'
Samantha pressed the door bell of the condo.
A charming man with blonde curls opened the door. His face looked annoyed, angry and...sleepy. Ooppsie
"Even if you can't sleep, don't go disturbing others" Alex grumbled
"Alright, I'm sorry. How would I know that you were sleeping" she pouted gulitly
Alex was super insomniac, he won't sleep for days, it was very difficult to get him to sleep. Even psychologists can't help him.
"Go go go continue your sleep" she proceeded to sat on the couch as she spoke
"A-sshole!" he rolled his eyes
"He sent his men to took him away" Alex spoke again, propping his legs on the coffee table
"And you are telling me this only now?" Samantha almost cried out
"Yeah..." Alex paused, opening his eyes to look at her he continues "You weren't taking his phone calls?"
Samantha merely rolled her eyes
Alex chuckled, fishing out a card from under the coffee table, he passed the card to her "Here"
"What is this?" Samantha took the nicely decorated pink coloured card. The card read:
'Sweetheart
Don't take my calls, I can always come there to see you
Your love *heart*'
Samantha widened her eyes in horror. She glared at the bright red heart hatefully.
This...This...
Sigh!!!!
"Alright... I'll take you out to play, let's go" Samantha spoke, supressing the unsettling feelings in her heart.
Alex raised his brows, but he agreed anyway.
20 minutes later
They walked out of the condo together. Alex had changed into a set of black pants and black tee, he looked very charming and cute even younger than his actual age, like a fresh university student.
While Samantha had already donned a set of black jeans and a black off shoulder top with red polka dots on it. Unbeknown to them, they look like a perfect couple, wearing matching outfits.
Samantha first took a cab back with Alex, to the mall, she had left her car in.
She is always worrying about this not-so-vibrant young lad, who just wants live in his own small world, totally disconnected from the rest of the world.
His childhood has left a deep mark on his whole being, which he can't wash away even he want.
