1 Chapter 1 / Once upon a time

Once upon a time there was a beautiful, strong sovereign nation called Magoda. Magoda was under the king who goes by the name Richard. King Richard was so beloved to his people, and he was blessed with a beautiful daughter Rachel. The king loved his daughter very much both as a father and mother because his wife the queen died when Rachel was twelve.

Since Magoda was beautiful and strong it has many enemies a situation that made the king to get bodyguards for his daughter despite she was good at martial arts. Nancy, Lidya  and Mariah were the princess's closest friends also were the greatest fighters likely the princess. These three bodyguards usually preferred blue swordman costumes while the princess preferred white clothing.

It was few days to the princess's twenty one's birth day and all the nation was preparing itself for the celebration.

King: My daughter! You are a big girl now what would you like as a present in your birthday.

Princess: mmh! can I ask anything?

King: of course!

Princess: I would like to get out of the palace.

King: You know that won't happen.

Princess: You know that is want I have wanted for many years now, please my friends are with me you don't have to worry, just this one thing please.

King: Okay, but I have a condition, we must know where you are going and time you will be there so it may be easy to locate you.

Princess: I will go to the flower mountain and we will stay there for three, four days and we will be on our way back.

King: Fine.

Days passed and after the princess's birthday, her and her friends took horses and few supplies to support them during their journey. From the kingdom to the flower mountain it was a day ride, so they started riding and the princess was so happy that finally she is riding toward the beautiful mountain full of beautiful tree with colourful leaves, beautiful unplanted gardens all over.

After a day ride they reached the foot of the mountain.

Princess: wow! I can't believe that this is only a look from down here, so beautiful!!

Nancy: Let's look it from the top.

Princess: No need to hurry, the sun will soon set, let's rest here for tonight  and we will continue tomorrow.

"Yes your highness" they all answered.

So they camped there for the night, during the night Maria was on charge for the security while warming herself from the fire. Suddenly Maria was alerted by the cracks of small tree branches in the woods, she fast turned and watched the woods and she someone  watching her and that person hide away. Maria got into the tent and woke the other two telling them that someone is watching from the wood.

All of them together with the princess started following were the sound came from, as they reached the are they found a wounded deer that was trying to move.

Maria: mmh! Bu.......

Nancy: Afraid of ghosts again?

Maria: No, am serious I saw someone.

Princess: okay, let's stop it and let's rest.

Princess and her friends started walking back to the tent while chatting slowly. Then someone once again is watching them from a far in the woods.

In the morning they started climbing the mountain to the top, while on the way they started hearing someone shouting for help from a distance. Princess, Nancy, Lidya and Maria started following the sound and they saw a man been robbed by three bandits who then stabbed the man and left him to die.

Lidya and Nancy tried to chase the bandits but couldn't catch them. Princess and Maria reached a wounded man to see if he is still alive.

Maria: the wound is not deep so he will survive.

Princess: let's camp here.

They camped at that area so they may take care of the wounded man.

Princess: let's not use royal ranks, you call me by my name so that this man may not know who we are.

Lidya: That won't be appropriate, what about my lady.

"Whatever, as long as he won't understand" answered the princess.

During the night as they were chatting while warming themselves on the fire. The man woke up and came out of the tent.

Man: hello, ladies!

Princess: how is your wound?

"Oh, it's okay, thanks for helping me" he answered. I am Cane by the way.

Princess: ( shaking hands) Rachel, and these are my friends, Lidya(hi), Maria(nice to meet) and Nancy.

So would mind explaining what happened to you.

Cane: I am a merchant from Mavaland and I was journing to trade gold's but we were unlucky that we met bandits on our way and my friends were killed but three of us escaped but I was caught as well, that's all.

Rachel: okay, you may rest for the night but tomorrow we will part our ways.

Cane: thanks.

In the morning the bandits had surrounded the area where the princess and her friends camped. At that time Cane was still asleep, Princess and her bodyguards pulled out their swords ready for a fight. The fight was of four against about thirty people.

Cane heard the noises of colliding swords so he got out of the tent."holy shit"

As he was passing his eyes he saw someone targeting Rachel with an arrow. Cane ran toward Rachel so he may save her, as Cane reached he pushed her and the arrow shot his back.

Rachel: nooooo!

She ran where Cane was laying. "Hey, Cane wake up"

Cane weakly opened his eyes. "It's okay am glad I also saved your life, mmh, mmh (tears falling from his eyes in pain) but your so beautiful (while touching her cheek).

Cane closed his eyes.

Rachel: Nooooo!
