8 Eight

"I have my suspicion about you having a secret, and I was right. Your familiar with Sheena." He continue what he's saying.

I clenched my fist then punch him instantly. I have no interest on what he is going to say, nor do I care about it. He fall on the ground, but he's still smiling even though her lips are bleeding.

He stand and grasp my collar. His smile turns into anger, her eyes widened because of anger. Then she calm himself and smile again.

"You shit. Did you know that I'm not doing any harm to you because of Carmela?" He said.

I smile, "O' you have consideration for her?"

He punch my stomach and throw me into the grassland. I feel the pain in my stomach and the bruise on my shoulder.

He walk towards me and start kicking me. I can't do anything, it's like I'm losing my strength because of his kicks. I am waiting for a chances, and when I find opening, I grab his foot and pull him down.

"Did you know what you did to Carmele!? Do you know her pain? Tell me!" I said at him full of anger in my voice.

I am going for another kick on him when I got suddenly pulled on my back. I feel the tears behind me and I heard a sob.

I turn my head and see Thea. On my front, I saw Carmela helping James to stand up. I just smile bitterly.

Two women are inlove with this man. Two women are crying because of what I did on James. I feel like I'm the villain here, why can't they see my point?

I feel like losing my strength. I smiled bitterly on what I see and look at James that still sitting on the grass.

He smile at me. I can't feel myself anymore. I love Carmela more than anything, more than myself. In fact, I hate myself.

The rain starts to fall and my nerdy styled hair is gone. Carmela and James leave to find a roof to avoid the getting wet in the rain. Me and Thea just sitting under the tree.

"Why did you that, Dale?"

She's not looking at me and we just feel the rain. We felt the same right now. We are in pain.

"You know the reason."

She just give me a bitter smile and stand up. "Am I stupid? Dale." She ask.

"There are someone, who's much more stupid than you."

I stand up and held her hand. We walk towards infirmary in the middle of the rain.

I get a towel in the cabinet here and I ask Auntie--! I mean, school nurse for a medicine for my bruise.

"Make sure guys that you're changing clothes. One more thing, you two are old enough to play in the middle of the rain." My Aunt said to us and sigh.

I just smiled at her and walk towards Thea.

I put the towel on her head but she didn't react. She didn't do anything so I sigh and get the towel on her head.

I dry her hair to her shoulders and cover her body with the towel.

I leave the infirmary room to get my P.E uniform and extra polo shirt and pants on my locker.

When I get back, I give her my P.E uniform, after that I leave again to change my clothes in the male C.R. Thank God that the corridor are wet, I will not get scolded for walking here with my drenched clothes.

After I finish changing my clothes, I go back at the infirmary to sign our names on the attendance there.

When we bid farewell to my Aunt and leave the infirmary, I held her hand. "Thea, I'll introduce myself to your Daddy."

She's shock and immediately get my hands off on her hand.

"W-wait, your too fast." She said to me while giving me a shock look.

Why did she have a flustered face? She's the one who planned this. She's the one who wants me to make her fall for me.

And I am serious right now. I'm not letting her go until her Daddy rescind the arrange marriage.

We are standing infront of Thea's Daddy. I look at him and gulp. Shit, her Dad has this intimidating aura, and he is wearing a very formal suit.

I smiled forcly.

"So, who is the man here."

I cleared my throat.

"Aaa, eee, b-bo--! Can I use the toilet!"

Before I start running, Thea pull me back. She is glaring at me. She wants to kill me for sure.

She smiled at me as if she wants to kill me I didn't pull myself together.

"A' Uncle, I am suitor of Thea." I reach out my hands for a shake hands.

How's my look? Thea said since I meeting his father, Of course my looks should presentable. So I revert my old looks and dressed formaly.

He reach out my hands and we shake hands.

"So, what did you like about my daughter? She is selfish, grumpy sometimes, and immature? But i love her more than anything, specially her cute sides--!"

Thea cover her father's mouth before he said something unnecessary and reveal her secrets that I should never know.

I'm in lost. Her Dad are having daughter complex right now. My only reaction is smiling forcly. When you can't figure out what you need to act or what you need to say, forcly smile are the solution.

"I agree with you sir. I like her immature and grumpy side. But most of all, I love her the way she act in front of me." I answered.

He smile at me and put her arms on my shoulder. "Come here, I have some story to tell you.

Thea immediately planning to stop her Dad, but her Mom suddenly called her. Well, her looks is priceless. She looks at me as if she wants me to pay no attention to her Dad's stories.

But I look at her with meaningful look.

"Dale--!"

Before she finish what she's saying, we reached the second floor.

When we reach the second floor, his smiles on hid face are gone. He put down his arm that was on my shoulder and start walking straight. I just follow him until we reach the final room.

"Thea is a lovely girl. Tell me what are your intention again on my daughter!" He said in a quiet but angry voice.

I am shock and I don't know what he's saying. But his look change again.

"Sorry, I lost my composure."

He open the door and the first thing I saw is the messy room. It is full of dirt and dusts, but I saw a shelf that is as if it was cleaned daily.

When I look at it closely, I saw an album. It is covered in colour of pink and have hearts on its sides.

"Don't pay attention on that."

He get something on the shelf, it is an envelope. It is the same that Thea have.

Don't tell me, he is changing his mind already? YES!

"Here. Look at this."

When I open the envelope it is not the same marriage contract. It is love letter."

My dear Thea.

I write this letter if ever we did not meet again. We're both at loss afterall. I want you to know that I love you very much, more than I love her. You are my treassure. You are my everything, so I will not accept to lose you--!"

This letter are printed. I wouldn't know who writes this, if that's the case.

"Who wrote this?" I ask.

He looks at me and give me a folder. I curiously get the folder and read its contents.

My eyes widened on what I see.

"It was James." Thea's Daddy said casually.

I put down the papers. Thea's Daddy do a detection on the love letter and it has James fingerprints. It might be the reason, why her Daddy wants her to marry James.

Wait.

"Sir. Did Thea read this?"

He shook his head. "No. You know, something bad happened on Thea in the past. She got into accident and lost her memories. Up until now, she's still can't regain her memories."

Amnesia... I thought it is just on the stories, but who have thought that I will experience this feeling, to know that the girl I'm courting has amnesia.

"I will tell you honestly. I will not accept you as her boyfriend."

Well, I expected that it is not easy to court her legaly. That damn James. Why he get into relationship with Carmela, if she love Thea.

I will make that campus queen fall in love with me, no matter what.
