Samantha's mind was floating all through out her class. She didn't understand a single lesson her professors taught today. Her head was full of thoughts about none other than, Caleb Sylvester.

What did he say? He liked me? Impossible!

She doesn't want to believe his words. Why? Because it doesn't make any sense to her at all! There was no freaking way Caleb Sylvester liked her.

"Hey, did you see that girl crying on the hallway?"

"Yeah, she looks really pitiful. I heard she was just a bet to her boyfriend."

"Poor woman, her feelings was toyed."

Samantha heard her classmates' conversation and like a light bulb moment, her face lightened up. Right! Maybe Caleb Sylvester wants to play with her feelings! Maybe this was her punishment as a wanted!

Caleb will make her fall for him, the dump her and be shamed at the end.

"Now it makes so much sense!" she said while standing on her seat. Her classmates suddenly looked at her with a questioning look. She immediately sat back down because of embarrassment. She got to carried away.

Caleb Sylvester, did you think you can play me? No freaking way!

As soon as the classes ended, Samantha immediately left the school. Of course, to avoid Caleb. She did want to see him. Only God knew what weird things he might do to her again.

Walking on the sidewalk, she heard a loud 'beeeep!' behind her. She turned around and saw a car rushing towards her direction. The car was going to hit her!

She stood there frozen.

Was this the end of her? Not being able to think clearly, she covered her eyes using her hands.

Suddenly, she felt someone grab her on her shoulders. Opening her eyes, she was mortified. She was on the other side of the road!

What happened? Am I already dead?

She turned her head to the where she was standing a while ago. There she saw the car earlier, completely crashed on a light post.

"You should stay alert at all times miss. You're lucky I got you on time," A man spoke. She turned around and saw a man who was as white as milk. He had a black hair, a pair of red eyes, sharp jaw and brooding eyebrows.

"I'm in a hurry, you take care," the man said then left quickly.

Uhh, what just happened?

She instantly turned to the direction where the man went, but he was already gone.

"Where did he go?" she said looking backward and forward. The man was already nowhere in sight!

Was he the flash?

Bothered, Samantha brought out her phone and called the police to report the accident. Then, she dragged herself home.

What a day!

Inside the Reverix hideout.

"Hey, I heard that the vampire we killed yesterday was a fraud. He wasn't the new leader of Mavis," Klay said.

Klay Lavino, the eldest among all the members of Reverix. He had a buffed body, chiseled jaw, ink black hair and brown eyes. He serves as the 'big bro' of the group.

"Yeah, I heard that the real leader just arrived in town," added Raviel.

"What's our plan?" asked Ravelo.

The Hermoso twins, Raviel and Ravelo. High breed of a wolf and a vampire. They were an experimented by the vampires. Caleb found them 10 years ago and took them in his pack. Both good looking, but with different personalities. Raviel was the happy go lucky type and Ravelo was the serious type.

"We'll first have to find out who the new leader is. I want you guys to try and track him down," Caleb instructed them.

"But have you noticed? They already upgraded their weapons. Their silver bullets were already filled with wolfsbane, one bullet and we're for sure dead. Look at this! It hurts so much!" said Jake while pointing his back.

Yesterday, all of them were injured after fighting with Mavis group. They didn't expect that they'd have such weapons. Luckily they were stronger or else they'd be dead now.

"We have to be careful the next time, also I think physical strength isn't enough. We also have to create our weapons to be able to defeat them," suggested Ravelo.

"I'll talk to my parents about that," Klay said.

"Remember to be mindful of your surroundings, we don't know when they'll attack," Caleb said then stood up.

"Where are you going?" asked Jake.

"Have to fetch someone," he answered then left.

Caleb went straight to Samantha's classroom. Upon reaching the place he peeped at the door but she was nowhere in sight.

He asked one of her classmates, "Where's Samantha?" he asked a lady who was leaving the room.

The lady instantly blushed but still answered, "She already left," she answered him.

His brows raised, was she avoiding him? This was her usual time leaving the school but she already left.

Defeated, Caleb turned around and left her room. He was planning to take her home today but she already left.

Tomorrow then.

Inside a big mansion, seated a man.

"Young master, the vampires you sent yesterday were all killed by the Reverix Pack," a vampire reported.

"I expected it, Reverix is after all the strongest pack that existed. I just wanted to alert them," answered the man. He swirled the wine glass before taking a sip.

"Go now. I have to sleep, my appointment for tomorrow is early," he said then placed the wine glass down and headed straight for bed.

Tomorrow will surely be exciting, he thought to himself.
