2 The Unnamed.

After having discussed the answers, he let everyone leave. He had not made any special eye connections or gestures at her. He had treated her like a normal student. She hadn't let that bother her. She was on cloud 9 the whole day considering he looked at her and ONLY HER when everyone was looking at him.

He heart fluttered. She felt light and genuinely happy. Her cheeks turned pink everytime she would think about it.

After they left she walked her to her hostel with her friends. She sat down to study but would drift away in thoughts of him. Her roommate, Xia Chang would catch her smiling to herself and would ask her

" Don't you feel any shame? You know he's married and his wife teaches us too. If that isn't enough to break the spell, he also has kids, not one but two! "

Li Mian replied " It's not like I want him, I don't want to break his family apart. I just want to hit on him from my corner whether he's aware of it or not, he cannot do anything about it. "

Xia Chang just couldn't understand Mian's ways. She just sighed and got carried away with other work.

What Xia Chang didn't understand was that

Li Mian was obsessed with the rush she got from just seeing him. She was aware of it being just an infatuation, however it made her feel happy. It was as though something exciting was finally happening in her life after a very long time. There was no progress in their relationship and there would never be and honestly she felt like she was happier this way.

She was certainly not in love with him. She was not sexually attracted to him, atleast as far as she knew.

Whenever she hit on a guy, if he were to be single and took notice of her, he would ask her out within the next few days.

She was honestly exhausted with the concept of dating. She was done with boys, she was tired of trying to understand an another person and their behavior with great patience. Hence she was even more happy when she heard that he was married. Things would never get complicated and never become more than what they are.

An Infatuation.

She had by now felt like she had made her feelings very prominent to the professor, passing by his cabin every day, dragging one of her friend's. Her friend, Fei Hong had been absolutely supportive of her newly found crush. She had drama of her own with a second year senior. She sulked about how slow things were going.

" Then why don't you go out on a date with him? Why do you say 'No' every time he asks you? " asked Li Mian

" because....

I Um... I'm afraid that I'll just grab onto him and kiss him!" answered Fei Hong.

After which both of them just laughed uncontrollably.

" But seriously tho, I don't want to just fuck with him. I see a future with him. I see us together." continued Fei Hong

Hearing this, Li Mian just frowned understanding her situation.

Things were really starting to get complicated with Fei Hong, she genuinely felt bad even more so helpless but she knew that she had to let her make her own choices.

Fei Hong had really fallen for the senior, this made things even more difficult. She couldn't let go yet he had to give her more reason to do so.

Fei Hong was a beautiful slender girl with fair complexion and long thick black straight hair.

She stayed in the hostel but not in the same room as Lu Mian. They got along really well, they had common interests. Fei Hong had intrigued everyone with her attachment to traditional clothes and Lu Mian had surprised everyone with her attachment to belief in god.

Now girls drifted more towards the modern side, wearing jeans and shirts while she wore kimono, wore bangles, an anklet to tie her attire together.

They vibed off of each other. If one of them was happy she could make the other happy and elated. They were like sisters, there was no need of words with them. They spoke with their eyes and their sighs. Only the other knew who they spoke about and what the fuss was all about.

On the phone

Li Mian

"The money you sent me last month got over. I need my monthly pocket money. " said with no glimpse of happiness. She had been pushed into depression and she would drag herself back up after getting shot down with one of his devious questions. Her eyes grew moist. Tears welled up in her eyes, she felt resistance in her throat. Refusing to cry, she swallowed audibly. Her whole mood ruined by the person on the other line. A dark cloud hung over her, all she needed now was a smoke and then she'd be happily listen to him pierce her already nimble heart. She felt her world shatter, she couldn't resist the urge to throw the phone as she heard the words

" Ask ur mother she knows many CEO's of many companies, she could always pull in the money by doing dirty work. "

She zoned out after that.

Put her phone to the side, she let the phone tire itself out and in the end said

" Just transfer the money. I don't ask anything else of you. I have nothing to do with ur misunderstanding with her. "

She couldn't go through this with him again. She was too tired to talk about this so she disconnected the phone as soon as she was done saying that. He had hurt her by saying the most torturous things and if she didn't stay on call and listen to him, he would never send the money required to even feed his on children whose existence he refused to acknowledge.

She always had her escape. She flees as soon as her mood dipped. She knew by now how to control her behavior. She was no more at home, she stayed hundreds of kilometers from home pursuing a profession everyone including her father, who had told her not to carry out with it. She would jump back into her dream world where everything went her way.

She had always been pampered as a child, no matter what she wanted it was brought to her but no one went against him. He frightened everyone but he was master of manipulation.

He was very observant of the people around him and his behavior was certainly influenced the people surrounding him. In front of strangers he came of as a very loving...
