Beginning of the End

...

Well...

This is certainly surprising...

I never thought I would see anyone else ever again...

Huh...

Well now that I think about it...

Long ago an old friend of mine once told me that I would need to tell a very special person a story to help in there journey, but I thought that day was ether long gone or never happening...

Okay...

I think I now know the story I need to tell, but I'm still a little confused on how useful it will be to you...

But...if the Fates have sent you to me then so be it!

Since I'm going to tell you an important story you can refer to me as the narrator or N. for short!

Well then...are you ready?

N: So long ago there were four children who loved to here stories of great heroes, these four children lived in a small nameless village to the south of the kingdom of Gordier, although growing up the kids grew up hearing how horrible the Gordieriens were, the kids grew up and during their rebellious phase they decided to move to Gordier to become great heroes! I will spare you of the many boring details, but the friends spent almost four and a half years without anything exceptional happening to them, they lived their lives from quest to quest almost never having enough money for rent or food. After a long time the group of friends gained a pretty good reputation for getting their jobs done, they gained access to much better quests...more dangerous quests! And that is where our story begins...at the beginning of the end.

With a large thump a huge scaly body of a ten foot tall beast hit the ground, the beast was bigger than I expected, I am a six foot tall man and this beast had me straining my neck, the beast was so much tougher than expected that I, Cliff Renner, ended up finding myself on the ground drenched in sweet. Well I guess that a challenge was expected since there was a huge reward for this quest, we should be able to pay the rent and buy food for another couple of months now! As I stand up my friends begin searching the beasts body for anything useful, what they think they will find I don't know.

As I walked over to my friends and the dead beast I yelled at them to stop messing with the body, because that weird guy is paying a lot of gold for the beasts dead body. Charles, Ballad, and Ben dejectedly helped me lift the body of the beast as we set off to meet up with the strange man known as Garry the Goblin.
