1 Haven

"300 years... I didn't think my youth would be sacrificed to this journey." Alkin spoke out, his tone scarcely projecting although the 19 other people for sure listening to what he has to say. "How long will it take? This tunnel has killed 30 of our tribe."

"Might kill us as well, we haven't eaten anything in 4 weeks, what animal would be down here?" Another tribeman uttered, feeling his stomach roar for food after.

"It's getting colder too, this is not the haven we started a journey for." A tribeswoman followed up, stated the sour facts.

"We have to stay strong! No one said this was going to be easy. This journey is for the toughest, all of you proved worthy." Zabal encouraged, his tone thundered stronger than the rest.

He is the chief of this tribe, but his value recently has become stronger. In this tribe of migrants, he's the only remaining grand master of lava blasting, otherwise described as level 6.

Being a grand master has a heavy value, because only he can burst lava out of his palm while any other lava controller of lower levels can only control external sources of lava.

Briefly said, Zabal is the only one who can keep this world long tunnel going.

Continuing his ray of encouragement, Zabal pierces the tribe's heart once more with a heart built thundering tone. "We are the Calidum Lutum! The toughest bastards out there. No one would be able to do what we did, fuck's sake we've been travelling under the sea for 300 years!"

Since no soul went against him, not because of fear but out of respect, he continued. "We will find a haven as the prophecy told us, so I ask you my brothers and sisters, stay strong with me."

The tribe of 20 here became fairly motivated a hunch more, but this might be the last time Zabal's words reached their souls. This migration journey is 300 years old, worse than that they've seen 30 of their friends or family die their way here.

If they don't see the light soon, death might reach a few more souls before the taste of salvation could ever bless their tongues that spoke out the words of the holy up until this point.

Understanding that they'd relaxed little less than an hour, the chief here used the opportunity to yield this uprising aura. "Rise my brothers and sisters, salvation is close, I can feel it."

Obeying his command, the tribe stands up, non lava controllers moved back while the gifted ones walked towards the end of the tunnel.

Regardless of the men and women they lost, the prime way of piercing this tunnel still remained the same.

The men and women with the lowest level stand on the front line, the mildly powerful ones stay... well in the middle.

While the only grand master in this struggling tribe, stands all the way to the back, providing lava for his group to manipulate and super boost.

Of course Zabal can just pierce the tunnel himself but that would take much longer. 7 people working on the tunnel is better and faster than what 1 person could do.

Agile to form the procedure they've repeated thousands of times, Alkin who's the weakest lava controller of this tribe, standed right near the end of the tunnel.

"Ready?" Zabal's tone echoes from the other side, demanding reassurance.

"Yes." Most repeated, and since no one said the opposite, it only meant that all of them are ready for progress.

And so, Zabal synced into a sumo squat, his glutes a couple feet closer to the ground now as the right hand stretched forward, the palm vertical, acting as a better way to aim.

Breathing in, his stomach fulfilled with a motivation to succeed, Zabal breathed out and pushed his left hand forward, from there an almost holy amount of lava bursted from his palm.

Rushing towards the rest of the lava controllers for the sake of further progress.

The amount blasted is indeed huge, about 6 feet wide and we just can't count how many feet long it is.

One would think this can burn the rest of the tribesmen and women but the tunnel here is 15 feet circuraly wide, there's plenty of space to move.

The lava that howled from the 875 year old grand master's palm, glows in such a way that it inevitably granted the whole tunnel an eye shattering illumination.

It seemed so pure, clean and carried a light orange colour that isn't smudged with anything else, as if rock and other minerals aren't part of it.

The lava was blasted flawlessly 20 feet forward, without even touching the ground and barely broke its original form.

Once crossing the 20 feet mark, it met a master (level 5) who goes by the name of Quabin.

And to push this lava forward, he doesn't have to touch it, no that would be a superiorly dumb idea.

Instead, squatted in the same position as Zabal, this man pushed the lava forward by first facing it, swiftly turning towards the rest of the team and slamming his fists to the ground.

Sounded tad reckless but it continued the elegant pole like form that showed no sign of rupturing out of order.

Now, the lava bursted through the damp tunnel air and met the control of an expert (level 4) woman who passes down to another woman of which had the same capacity.

At this point they felt the volcanic walls around them shake, the speed of which this lava attained unleashed a roar that doesn't force one to cover their ears, but isn't easy on them either.

Now, it's up to the magicians (level 3) lava blasters to continue the madness, and they aren't failing to repeat the procedure.

Finally, reaching the end of the move, Alkin grabbed control of the lava, twisted his body forward and smashed the ground with his fists.

As the lava met the end of the tunnel, a horrendous shake knocked the magicians off balance, but it isn't necessarily anything that would turn them into food for the tribe.

As the lava pierced through the dirt and rock in such an elegant way, it would make one think it never made impact with the opposing force.

It just penetrated the dirt, became larger in width, stretched 7 feet wide now and of course gives the opportunity to make the tunnel larger.

While from the other side, once Zabal the grand master made the lava wider, he just backed away and let go of the control he had over it.

The master in front of him just pushed the lava forward once more, until he saw the ending tail of it, making him slam the ground with his fists once more.

But this time, he also backed away to the left of the tunnel, forged a path for Zabal to run forward. Of course, the other lava controllers in front of him repeated the mentioned action.

Being a fairly good runner, he managed to catch up with the lava's tail, the other side of the tunnel had already been pierced and there is no sign of stopping, but the final step of this move has to be brought into motion.

Finally reaching the spot where Alkin too has moved aside, the titled grand master takes a leap forward, his feet sinking just a few inches in the dirt.

Pushing both arms straight forward, Zabal blew a stronger wave of lava from his palms, filled every quarter of the tunnel and inevitably gave the whole built up power move a little boost.

Spreading his feet wide while blowing lava from his palms, Zabal claps and that's where the wave of lava quits emerging near his hand.

After the clap, he spread arms wide as well, becoming like a 10 foot tall X. A Calidum Lutum's body form is truly one of a kind.

But once stretching his arms wide, Zabal merged his palms to a clap once more and that's where the truly fun part of the power move started taking root.

The horrendous amount of lava in front of him, that stretched 10 feet wide, is now acting as if a superior force pierced it in the middle, in a circular matter.

Which leaves the lava no option but to use it's built up speed at an enhanced rate, on the sides of the tunnels.

Necessarily, this means that the tunnel is obtained a layer of volcanic rock, acting like a superiorly strong wall that kept the structure safe and steady.

This move made lava slowly disappear, reduce in size.

While the leading piercing formation at the very other end, continued it's raid forward, made the tunnel longer.

However the reducing backside of the lava contributed to adding a layer of volcanic walls.

This will continue for a while, the amount of lava he unleashed was massive and it's better if the entire tribe starts walking forward.

...

"I can see the light!" Alkin hollered, his joy rising to the point of breaking out a tear.

Well the light is over 200 feet high, but at least they can finally reach the surface.

To that, the crowd of 19 behind him continued with a roaring cheer and the less patient ones dug their claws on the rock and dirt, giving a good attempt to climb.

A Calidum Lutum is usually 10 foot tall, on top of that they are insanely physicially fit by nature, so climbing this 30 foot wide ditch of some sort will be child's play for them.

...

"Chief..." Alkin murmured, waiting for the rest to climb up.

In front of him... well he can see a lot of snow so this isn't exactly the haven they were looking for.

Apart from that, there's a large group of super white people in front of him, smaller in body size but they aren't exactly interjecting a friendly face. Worst than that, with a slight guess one would figure out that there were over a hundred potential enemies here.

"Hi." Alkin uttered, carried a smile and raised his hand high too, hoping the rest of the group will get here faster.

Hearing the big black man with lava coloured veins talk, one of these small people took a quick leap forward and blasted something out of his very mouth.

In just a second, Alkin found himself getting too numb too quickly, a few counts later he became surrounded by a foot wide layer of ice.

"Alkin!" The chief hollered, using common logic to determine that these aren't friends.

Hearing the man shout, one of these small humans blows something unusual out of her palm, it pierced through the air far too fast for the naked eye to comprehend what it is.

A second later, one of the men who just climbed to the top, got striked by that figure, right on the arm.

The impact was so strong that the arm... well it got sliced off faster than the eye can blink, falling back down to the ditch as the man hollered in pain.

Afterwards charging towards the crowd and kicking the closest small white human, right on the stomach, forcing the enemy to fly 10 feet in the air with broken ribs contributing towards death.

Understanding that the situation became hazardous, Zabal the chief hollered. "My brothers and sisters, attack!"
