1 Abnormal Signs in the Night Sky

Within the Realm of Reincarnation where the Samsara occurred, the God of Reincarnation in charge of overseeing the life and death cycle gazed at the enormous golden eyeball in the sky.

"Calamity God... what brings you here to the Realm of Reincarnation today?" The God of Reincarnation spoke in a calm voice, but underneath his robes was a back covered in cold sweat.

The eyeball in the sky that was large enough to be an entire world blinked and an ancient voice echoed inside the mind of the God of Reincarnation.

"I have come to make a deal with you, God of Reincarnation…"

Its voice was overwhelming in the God of Reincarnations' mind, causing his soul to tremble just from hearing its voice.

"A deal…?"

The God of Reincarnation was stunned at its words.

What kind of deal does this almighty god that even the Heavens cannot contain want to make with him, a mere God of Reincarnation with no real power?

"Calamity God, there is no need for a deal. Tell me, what do you want from me? As long as I have enough authority and power to make it come true, I will do anything you ask."

The God of Reincarnation knew very well that he was not in the position to make a deal with this almighty creature, let alone refusing it. Therefore, he could only agree without even listening to what the Calamity God has to say.

The eyeball in the sky flickered with countless lights like the stars in the starry sky.

"Then… allow me to enter the Yellow Springs River and be reborn as a human…"

"What!" The God of Reincarnation exclaimed his shock when he heard the Calamity God's desire, and a troubled light flickered deep in his eyes.

The Calamity God noticed that light, and its pupils shrank.

"Do you have a problem with that, God of Reincarnation?" An immense pressure that could overturn the Heavens suddenly covered the entire Realm of Reincarnation, scaring the living hell out of everybody there, including the already dead souls.

The God of Reincarnation finally lost his calm and dropped to his knees.

"Calamity God, don't be hasty!" he cried out, fearing that his Realm of Reincarnation might be consumed by the Calamity God if he didn't.

"Only the dead are allowed to enter the Yellow Springs River; it is a law made by the Heavens themselves! It is not something I…"

Before the God of Reincarnation could even finish his sentence, the overwhelming pressure from the Calamity God's gaze increased, becoming tyrannical.

"I do not want to hear your excuses, God of Reincarnation!" The Calamity God's voice boomed in the God of Reincarnations' mind, nearly causing his soul to shatter.

The God of Reincarnation coughed up a mouthful of blood, and the light in his eyes dimmed.

He couldn't understand why the Calamity God who hasn't done anything aggressive for so many Era would suddenly become so overbearing.

Why would this heaven-defying creature known as the Calamity God wish to be reborn as a human — a mortal? The God of Reincarnation couldn't fathom it not matter how hard he tried.

"Allow me to enter the Yellow Springs River to be reborn as a human, or disappear alongside this realm! Decide now, God of Reincarnation!"

The God of Reincarnation smiled bitterly.

What choice does he have at this moment, really? The Calamity God is an existence even the Heavenly Emperor feared — it was an existence above the almighty Heaven!

"I understand, Calamity God. I shall open the path to the Yellow Springs River for you. However, your memories and power as the Calamity God will disappear. Are you fine with that?"

"Open it," said the Calamity God without hesitation.

"Very well, then..."

The Calamity God suddenly interrupted, "Additionally, what happened today, you must not tell anyone or else…"

The God of Reincarnation nodded with a serious expression and said, "I, the God of Reincarnation, swear to the Heavens that I shall not speak of what happened today to anyone no matter the circumstances; if I break this oath, may the Heavens punish me by shattering my soul with no chance of reincarnation!"

He wasn't stupid. Even if the Calamity God were to lose all of its powers and become a mortal the next day, it is still an existence that cannot be underestimated, let alone offended.

"I have opened the path to Yellow Springs River for ten breaths of time, Calamity God." The God of Reincarnation said a moment later.

The eyeball in the sky suddenly flickers with lights, disappearing an instant later.

On a dark night, a phenomenon showing the outline of an enormous dragon suddenly appeared above the Eastern Cloud Continent, Western Moon Continent, Southern Sun Continent, and the Northern Sky Continent that made up this vast world, causing an uproar throughout the world. Countless stared at the night sky in awe at the profound outline at this moment, some even tried comprehending the outlines in hopes to gain enlightenment.

"Abnormal signs appear in the sky, which means a Divine Body will descend."

On the summit of the Imperial City in the Eastern Cloud Continent. An old man in golden clothes stood with his hands behind his back as was looking into the night sky, his gaze mesmerized by the phenomenon in the sky.

Behind him were tens of thousands of Imperial City experts, each of them emitting a profound aura.

"I have seen over a dozen of these so-called Divine Prophecies here in my Eastern Cloud Continent, but seeing one this large and 'alive' is a first."

The old man turned to experts behind him and commanded, "Bring back to the Imperial City all the infants that were born tonight and inspect each and every single one of them for any signs of a Divine Body!"

"Yes, Your Majesty!"

"A Divine Prophecy! Someone in this world is being born with a high-quality Divine Body!"

A middle-aged man with sharp facial features gazed at the sky with dazed eyes, seemingly lost in his thoughts.

"Within my Western Moon Continent, bring back all infants that were born tonight to the Imperial City!" The middle-aged man suddenly roared.

"Yes, sir!"

The tens of thousands of experts in the Imperial Palace replied to the middle-aged man's command.
