8 Chapter 08

"NoRuhi! You shouldn't miss him. He hut you a lot!" She mumbled trying to think straight but couldn't, as her thoughts kept ending on Rohan and his words.

"I missed you!" Rohan mumbled and his voice made Rugi woke up but she kept her eyes closed. She wanted to see what he would do.. "Sorry, I didn't come back for 2 days, but you never understand. You reminded me of her. I'll only hurt you if I see you. Sorry." He whispered, got up and left.

"But, what did mean by me reminding him of some girl? Did he have someone in his past?" She mumbled thinking. "So what Ruhi? Why care, forget him." She said out loud and turned back. She was shocked to see Rohan standing there at the doorway. "Forget me, huh?" he said, coming close towards her, pinning her against the cupboard. "No... nothing." She said trying to push him away. "Okay.., go make lunch for both of us." He said and she looked at him as if he's an alien. "Lunch? Meant.. me cooking?" she asked. He nodded, "Why? Didn't I burn my hand and was banned from the kitchen?" she asked childishly. "Because I'm tired of eating that cooks disgusting food, your is better." he said smiling. Ruhi also smiled at him and leaned over to kissed his cheek.

Just then the door was banged and Ruhi woke up.. "That was a dream?" She whispered. She got up and opened the door. It was the maid with some food but she rejected her as she didn't like eating alone and missing Rohan too.

Just then, the bell rang and Ruhi ran to open the door. It was the driver holding the terrible drunk Rohan in his hand. "Ma'am, I found Sir in a bar, drunk so I brought him home." he said. Ruhi held Rohan putting his hand around her shoulder. "Thank you." she said and took Rohan to the bedroom. On the way, he mumbled one thing breaking Ruhi's heart.. "I love you, Preet... you broke my heart." He mumbled again and Ruhi broke down but wondering only one thing.., 'who's this Preet? Why's he saying she broke his heart?'
