The Vow

(Inside the building)

Raising his hands, he placed them together and blocked the kick that was aimed at his head, sliding slightly from the impact of the kick.

Lee stepped back immediately seeing a fist headed towards his nose, and tilted his head barely dodging it. Grabbing his arm, Lee knew this was his chance and raised his knee, hitting Benjamin square in his gut.

"You're finished", whispered Lee in his ear and let go of his hand, and spun around to give him a kick to his head once more. Lowering his body, he dodged to kick in the nick of time and immediately gave an uppercut, startling Lee and throwing him off balance.

He began to fume in anger and his swings began to miss its target, and Benjamin began to use it to his advantage, dodging the attacks and recovering his stamina which he had lost during the fight against him.

Letting out a roar, Lee raised his fist and and made his final move, nearing him and about to knock him out. Benjamin had a smirk on his face and decided to face it head on.

Placing his palm in front of the fist that was heading for his face, he was pushed back slightly. His left arm was beginning to feel numb from blocking all the attacks that the man made.

With a smirk playing on his lips, he looked the man in the eye. A frown was plastered on his face, and thinking about all the punches that Benjamin had blocked, he couldn't believe that he was being matched.

"It would take more than a punch to put me down, Mr. Lee'' he taunted the man in front of him. A smile formed on Lee's face and clenching his fist, he gave him a punch towards his stomach.

Lee's eyes went wide with the punch as he couldn't believe the force behind the attack that he just faced. Doubling down, he coughed to catch his breath.

Turning his body around, he lifted his leg and connected his heel with Lee's jaw, sending him to the ground. Using the momentum, Lee turned around on the floor and got back up quickly, and stood with his eyes locked on him.

"It seems I have really underestimated you. Guess I have to work extra hard to win and keep her. Wait a second, where…" he paused whilst looking around seeing that Claara wasn't there.

Cocking his head back, Lee began laughing out loud as his eyes began to fill with an indescribable madness. After a few moments,he looked at him again, and gnashed his teeth.

"You're good. I believed all nerds were just brains, and it seems like I have been mistaken", he hissed in anger, and Benjamin had a feeling it was about to come to an end.

Smirking wide, he secretly pulled out a grenade from his back, keeping it ready to blast the moment he notices Lee make a move.

Lee was thinking about what move to make to bring him down, and he needed him alive to investigate the whereabouts of his precious experiment that had just slipped from his grasp.

The two of them circled around, waiting for either of them to make a move. Lee grew impatient, and he made the first move, sprinting towards Benjamin.

With a smirk, he sprinted towards Lee, pulling the pin off the grenade he had in his hand. Just a few metres before he reached Lee, he put all his force into his calves, instantly halting.

"Take this" he exclaimed, swinging his left arm and throwing the grenade right at his face and stepping back immediately.

Rolling to the side, he picked up a shield which was lying around and placed it in front of him and closed his eyes.

"BANG!"

The sound rattled his ears and he had closed his eyes in the nick of time. Unfortunately, Lee hadn't covered and he suffered the full wrath of the grenade.

"Sayonara, Mr. Lee", he muttered, quickly running towards the door. Removing the gadget that was stuck on his neck, he began to run out from the place, and began to use the shadows and smoke that had risen due to the flames as his cover.

Standing there, Lee was going through the aftershock of the grenade that just went off, and the guards had put out the flames and arrived to help Lee.

"LUUUUUUUUUUCAAAAASSSSSSS!"

He bellowed in anger and looked at the guards that had arrived, feeling something warm flowing down his face. Stroking the liquid gently with his fingers, He found out that it was blood.

One of the guards that had arrived had a horrified look on his face looking at the state Lee was in.

"Sir, your face…" he exclaimed softly, placing his hand over his mouth. Looking at his reaction, Lee wanted to see what had happened, ordering a guard to bring him a mirror.

Small shrapnels of steel were protruding from the places it had stabbed, and blood was oozing from the wounds that it had caused. He was about to remove the shrapnel with his fingers when the guards saw a canister lying nearby, which read 'Tactical Flashbang'.

Placing his hand above Lee's he immediately stopped him from removing it and pointed to the canister that was lying nearby. Lee began to laugh out loud, sounding like a maniac to the others.

The guards were puzzled about his behaviour, and looked at each other for a few moments and the laughter slowly died down. Lee's eyes were filled with murderous intent, and one of the guards felt a chill run down his spine looking into his eyes.

Pulling himself together, he looked around and found every guard looking at him like he was a maniac. He knew he had gone out of line a little, but he didn't care about his image, for the only thought running in his head was revenge.

"Lucas, I will find you. And when I do, I'll carve the skin out of your body", he vowed and called for some doctors, knowing that if he tried, it would lead to many complications.
