After Jessica left Jian was left with John. They talked some more about things then after they finished eating John went to throw away the trash while Jian checked her phone. She started to search for different kinds of sewing machines.

Once John was back Jian said, "Alright now. John, I have to go do something. Thanks for the meal and your time."

He smiled and pouted a little asking, "Can I come along? I really don't have anything else to do and I am really bored."

Jian sighed, "Fine."

"So where are we headed?" John asked as they walked outside.

"We will be going to different shops so that I can find a great sewing machine," Jian replied.

"Do you want to tell me why?" John asked as they walked along the busy streets of New York City.

"Well, I need a sewing machine to make clothing for my Business class project," Jian answered.

"You are interested in opening up a business?" John asked as they turned the corner towards a small antique store.

"I don't know, I can't really explain it. I just want to see if it is possible to have and be the founder of a business at such a young age." Jian answered giving a little shoulder nudge at the end.

They went inside the store and John was about to ask another question when Jian got a call.

(On the phone what John heard)

"Hi, yes that's me. What is it?" Jian answered in a calm tone. She walked away from the door and towards an empty corner.

"No, I do not think it is possible for me to tutor Alex again." She said looking around.

Jian raised her voice a little as she answered, "Why, you're asking me why I cannot tutor a student who has zero motivation to learn and better themself."

She lowered her voice as she continued searching, "No, please I am not done talking. I have stated before Miss Eldiore that I only forgive someone once, and the fact that you are calling me instead if Alex shows his sincerity to studying especially with me as the tutor."

"Yes, I can completely understand that as his mother you want him to do well, yet as a mother, you should also be there to discipline your child, and not let a girl his age do that."

"No, I am not going to tutor Alex again, so I hope you find someone who can help him or help him yourself, Miss Eldiore. Have a good day Miss."

Jian cut the call before she got a reply. She took a deep breath closed her eyes then opened them she sighed.

"You ok, Jian?" John asked, tapping her shoulder.

"Yes, I am alright. I was just a little uncomfortable with how Miss Eldiore is about her son." Jian smiled as she replied.

"Come let's go to the other store." She said walking toward the exit.

John followed closely behind her careful to give her space and have control over his curiosity.

After a few hours, the two finished searching and found a sewing machine. John helped Jian take the machine home and went home afterward. That night Jian got to designing and creating while talking on the phone with John.
