It doesn't matter if the world stood against me, it doesn't matter how evil I have to be, it doesn't matter if I have to die a thousand more times. This is my eternal promise!" _______ Hello everyone, it's my first time writing so it might not be perfect but I'll continue to improve myself along the way so please bear with me. The first volume is an introduction to some key elements of the novel as well as some characters so, although it might be a little slow, I promise you won't regret it in the second volume. #Eastern mix Western #Cold #Deadbodies #Gore #old monster against the world #no useless character development #willing to do anything for benefit #For now I'll be updating a chapter every day, well, unless something happened to me.

Prologue

In a place that once used to be called the Great Blue World.

A bright crimson layer covered the vast expansive sky of the world and layers of ominous clouds shielded the firmaments. The scene looking as though it was about to bring an absolute end to all things.

The firmaments rumbled and seethed bringing the world to ruin. Beyond the nine heavens clouds mysterious threads of unknown origin extended down, and on it hung what looked like the horrors of the world.

Figures of unrecognizable human figures with ominous eyes hung down on the mysterious thread like silent mannequins, emitting some bizarre aura that suffocated any living being who witnessed its appearances. The scene was nightmarish enough that it would even frighten grannies awake.

At this moment, below in a forest, lay a bloodied figure of a person; the ground covered in his blood.

'I guess this is it for me.' The figure's thoughts seemed to echo in the world but were unheard by anyone.

'Was I too hasty to enter into the forbidden ground? But if there was a way to revive the dead, it should only be at that place...' The bloodied figure moves slightly, his pale white eyes which seem to suffered greatly with regret of the past glaze at an old tombstone that rests beside a peacefully blooming lush tree.

His lips opened slightly wanting to call out to his dear mother but weren't able to, and the luster on his eyes was also on the verge of disappearing.

He heartbrokenly looked at the name on the surface of the stone that had begun to be erased by the mercilessness of time one last time; wanting to itch her name to his very soul, never to forget it even in death.

Regret. Regret. Regret…

He had sinned with many regrets toward his mother, the woman who always loved him and took care of him most of her life. The memories of his childhood resurface, accompanied by his numerous regrets that made his dying heart suffocate and pained.

Long ago, despite the ungratefulness to her child, there was once a woman who always continued to care for and love her son, but the child had been too naive and continued to do things he would regret for life.

Long later, after suffering in the cruel and unforgiving world; the world where no one cared for him or loved him and felt he was all alone, that person realized his past mistakes but... by the time he went back to the only person who he cared about to beg and ask for her forgiveness, it was already too late. And the only thing that greeted him in what used to be his humble home wasn't the loving and caring face of Her, but an aged tombstone, who seemed to always be waiting for her favorite person to come home.

To talk to her once again, to apologize for everything and make up for the regret in his heart, he set out on this cruel path in hopes of resurrecting her. He has suffered, cried rivers, and lost many things precious to him, but in the end, he has fallen and failed.

At his last moment, all he could do was stare at the tombstone asking for her silent forgiveness, but he wasn't able to hear the voice that he desired so much, and eventually, the luster in his eyes vanished and disappeared. He had died...

'That one simple wish of mine, is it really too big to accommodate in this world?'

The last thought of the person floated in the lonely world that suddenly quietened and darkened.

A dark mist was drifting through a space.

It flowed like the coming and going of the night and on top of the mist was a figure of a person whose body was wrapped in old grey clothes.

This figure was unmoving like a dead person without its burial coffin and it was drifting into the unknown space carried by the dark mist, unaffecting by both time and space.

But at one point in time, the dark mist suddenly stopped with the unmoving figure.

At the next moment, the serene space seems to twist, and slowly by surely, the unmoving figure turns its head strugglingly; its clothed face peering into somewhere distant.

At its action, the space shudders in silence; unable to hold the glaze of the being.

But fortunately, this event didn't last long and the figure started drifting away atop the dark mist; disappearing into the darkest of space.

But, no one was present to notice that the dark mist had changed its direction slightly, into the unknown void.
