3 When Is Mommy Coming Home?

Shi Meng and Ling Qin turned to see the little girl who was standing behind them screaming.

"Young miss what is it?....why are you shouting?" Ling Qin asked the little girl in front of him. The little girl was about to answer him when Shi Meng bent down and pinched her cheek.

"Lei Ai why are you shouting?.....it's very late... you should be asleep"

"And you..... why are you here?.... it's very late...you should be at home" Lei Ai said. Shi Meng's mouth opened in shock and quickly removed her hands from Lei Ai's cheek.

Lei Ai turned to Ling Qin who was laughing silently.

"Where is Lei Xi?...I want to see him" Lei Ai said to Ling Qin.

"For what reason if I may ask young miss" Ling Qin said smiling at her.

"He promised me that he'll get me a new toy if I go to sleep early for three days. This is the fourth day"Lei Ai said sounding sweet. Ling Qin couldn't help but pat her head gently. She was the most cutest child he had ever come across.

"OK I'll let him know" Ling Qin said as he headed upstairs. Shi Meng who had been standing there looked at Lei Ai angrily. When she finally gets married to her father, she will not hold back and teach the little brat a lesson.

Few minutes later, Lei Xi and Ling Qin came dowm to meet Lei Ai.

"Lei Xi you owe me" Lei Ai said as she walked towards her father. Lei Xi nodded in agreement and brought out a brand new doll. It was the latest edition.

"Wow" Lei Ai said in amazement as she grabbed the doll.

"Thank you daddy" Lei Ai said smiling.

"Now that I've paid my debt you need to go to sleep now....you have school tomorrow" Lei Xi said as he carried his daughter in his arms.

"I don't want to go to school"Lei Ai cried. Lei Xi took his daughter upstairs to her room completely ignoring Shi Meng who was standing there like a statue.

"Miss do need anything else" Ling Qin asked. Shi Meng gritted her teeth in anger and walked out of the mansion.

Lei Xi placed his daughter comfortably on her princess like bed and sat beside her and started patting her head gently trying to put her not sleep but she didn't even close her eyes to sleep. Lei Ai was deep in thought. Lei Xi looked at his daughter. She looked cute when she was thinking and also he wondered what she was thinking about. He wanted to ask her when she suddenly spoke.

"Daddy when is mommy coming home?" Lei Ai asked looking at her father. Lei Xi had been looking for her mother for the past 3 years now but he could not find her even with all the resources at his disposal. It was as if she completely vanished from the face of the earth.
