8 Delexue Fashion Gala

The next day, Lin Xiu woke up with a smile seeing a little girl close to her. She quickly called Li Jing and asked her to bring her dress for the gala. Not quite long, Li Jing walked into the mansion holding the dress.

"I've got everything ready madam... and here's the designs you asked for" Li Jing said as she gave the papers to Lin Xiu.

"I'm not satisfied with these..... tell them to work on each one of them" Lin Xiu said as she gave the papers back to Li Jing. Lin Xiu was a bit tired after last night. Thinking about it gave her a very big headache.

"Wake me when it's time for the gala." Lin Xiu said as she walked upstairs without looking back.

Later in the evening , The Lei family along with their friends which are the Lin Family and the Shi family and others sat down for dinner at the Lei family residence. After dinner, they all went to the living room to chat. All the old people went to the other living room.

"Oh.... come now.... that isn't even true...gallary S would never have escaped that crisis if not for my intervention." Gu Jiang the owner of a popular news agency said proudly.

"If by intervention you mean covering up a lie then you did a very good job" Lei Ming, Lei Xi's older brother said. Gu Jiang did not continue with the conversation instead he turned to Wu Ruomei , Lin Jie's fiancee.

"I heard you're now working at Deluxe you must be very proud of yourself"

"Thank you" said smiling happily.

"Yes I also heard that....congratulations Wu Ruomei " Lei Rong, Lei Xi 's younger sister said. Lin Jie was proudly looking at his fiancee.

"I also think we should congratulate Shi Meng....she is going to be modelling for Deluxe soon and that's a major step in her career" Lei Rong said as she looked at Shi Meng happily. She was excited that she was going to have a very popular model as her sister in law which meant that with Shi Meng's popularity and with her family behind her, she will have no problem being a model as soon as she turns 20 which is a month away. Shi Meng smiled happily as the people present congratulated her. She glanced at Lei Xi who was holding a glass on whiskey while thinking deeply.

"So Wu Ruomei tell me.... do you know anything about your boss?"Gu Jiang asked as he raised his eyebrow up looking for an exclusive about the CEO of Deluxe.

"No...I'm sorry....nobody knows except for Miss Jane, Mr Cheng and Mr Mr Si" Mo Chang Ying said as she looked at Gu Jiang who was a bit disappointed.

"Gu Jiang why are you asking her. Your people are stationed at every angle at the gala so I'm sure you'll get your answer soo." Lei Ming said.

"Look it's starting already" Lei Rongsaid excitedly.
