10 We’ve Got To Build A Wall [2]

'If I just stand here and watch they'll definitely have a round two'.

Not wanting to face such a situation again, he cleared his throat causing both individuals to turn their head towards him.

The witch stared at him, a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"Your highness" Donall voiced "My apologies for being absent yesterday. I had an appointment which was of utmost importance so I was unable to avail myself to you".

'A rather intimate appointment' he commented in a low voice.

"It's fine".

He brushed him off and went towards his usual seating.

"So, today, we'll be focusing on building your faith. It's quite lacking and hence you were bewitched by this witch yesterday. To prevent, this we've got to build a wall".

'Build a wall?' Roland bit his lip to prevent himself from laughing out loud.

"We've got to build a mental wall to block out all forms of psychological attacks. So, I brought her here for you to be tested".

Roland took a quick glance towards the witch and realized that she was staring at him intently.

He quickly turned his head away.

'Why is she staring at me like that?' his face heated up.

"Psalm 91:4 says, He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings, you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart'.

So, if you want to win this psychological warfare, you must put all your trust in the Lord".

Three soft taps echoed throughout the room.

"I'll be stepping out for a bit to sort out some matters. Take heed to my words, meditate on them".

He exited the room.

It was just Roland and the witch remaining.

Silence engulfed them both.

Her eyes never left Roland.

'This place is starting to feel suffocating'.

"Look at me"

For the first time since Roland had met the witch, she spoke. The moment her voice echoed into his ear, a wave of disgust washed over him.

'What the hell!'

He gagged, feeling the urge to throw up. Out of curiosity, he turned his head towards and gave 'her' a scrutinizing gaze.

'She, no, he, no it looks like a natural born female. If it hadn't opened its mouth I would have not doubted its gender'.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Don't you like what you see?"

Roland shuddered.

"Stop" he wheezed out.

Roland cried inwardly.

'To think I got a boner for a guy'.

A wave of realization washed over him.

'Does this mean I'm, I'm gay?'

He paused.

'Nope, that's not possible. I was just deceived. Yeah that's it'.

"I noticed you the other day. You couldn't take your eyes off of me. What's so different now? I know I'm beautiful; my body is to die for. There's no man under the stars who can resist me.

Maybe you just need a taste to restore that look in your eye and have your body react to me the way it did before".

She smiled. It was so alluring that Roland felt an unknown force acting on him.

'What is happening?'

Involuntarily he stood up and walked towards 'her'. Soon enough he stood before her.

"Nobody can resist me".
