9 Chapter 9: The King

Kaida's pov.

So recap. I was pretty much knocked out the whole time I was in my cell for some reason and this dude was beating me and throwing out some harsh words until he knocked me out again. A few minutes later, I slowly opened my eyes to the a nice view of the floor while I was being dragged away. I groaned and lifted my head up, "W-What the...Hey! Let go of me!" I yelled to the two guards carrying me away to somewhere while I had cuffs on my wrist. I heard Raven's voice somewhere in the dungeon but it wasn't too far away from where I was. I tried to look back but I just saw the man be pushed outside a cell, I'm guessing it was Raven's. I growled and moved around, "Where are you taking me?!" I exclaimed.

The man's pov.

I was pushed by the Timber Wing hardly making me stumble outside her cell, "Jeez..." I said as I shut the cell, "You won't be able to do squat little birdie." I teased her. She then flapped her wings hard making me fly backwards again, hitting the back of my head on the cell bars, "Ow! You little bitch." I huffed and leaned on her cell, "Heh that girl is being dragged away to my room, I'll show her who's the boss around here. Not the king but me. Besides, I haven't had a little comforting in years it'll be nice to feel some warmth don't you think? And there's nothing you can do about it." I said to that bird thing as I started to walk to my room to meet my match. "I'll hunt you down if you lay your filthy hands on her you pig!" The bird yelled out from the cell. I ignored her and just kept walking with a smirk.

Kaida's pov.

The guards then arrived at a door and as they opened it they just dragged me inside and pushed me to someone's bed. I didn't know what was going on, "Help!" I yelled for someone. I heard more footsteps coming towards my location as the guards step out of the room. The man came inside, "Do not waste your pretty voice, Little girl." He said to me with the disgusting smirk on his face. I snarled and kept my tail between my legs, "What the hell do you want you ugly piece of shit." I said with a beastly growl, "Well thats none of your business now." He said to me. I tried to kick him away but he grabs my leg before it could hit him, "Tsk tsk, Nope." He said while opening his shirt. What a dirty hog. I squirmed, "W-What are you doing?! No!" I refused as he grabbed both of my legs. I whimpered, "No!!!" I yelled out loud.

Then all of a sudden, I heard a knock at the door. The man sat up, "Who is it." He asked to the person knocking, "Sir, The king asks for your presence immediately." The guard said to the man with me then he looked at me, "And with her sir." The guard added. I sighed in relief. The man then sighed and fixed himself, "Well? Get up! You have legs don't you?!" He ordered and yelled at me, I could tell he was irritated that his little moment was ruined. He then pushes me to the door and the guard pulls my cuffs as they both bring me to the king. I looked around the castle halls and there were paintings of past kings and queens and I was pretty amazed. The man then pushed me, "Keep walking." He ordered me again. The guard then opens a door leading to the king's throne room. He opens the door and there he was. King Hadrian Alister the aflame king of Celosia. The two men pulled me and then threw me to the floor in front of the king making me kneel, "Hm, So this is the girl you 'caught'." The king said while raising his eyebrow.

I whimpered, "P-Please sire...I did nothing wrong." I begged to be freed. King Alister ignored me and just looked at my face, "Where was she found?" He asked the guard and the man. The guard then stepped forward and bowed, "The royal guards found her at the local Timber Wing's house in Glow Oak forest." He reported. The king's eyes glared, "I knew that bird was off since the day she came here." He growled. I just stayed silent, I knew if I spoke the king would just ignore me or cut my head off. The guard then nodded, "And sir, When the royal guards tried to subdue the Timber Wing she seemed to have extreme power. Maybe she has something to do with the sorceress or some connection?" The guard said. The king then held his chin while thinking, "hm." The king hummed while thinking, "Indeed. I'd like to see this. Bring me the Timber." The king ordered the guard, He nodded anyway and walked of to fetch Raven.

I waited and looked down at my knees, "W-Why are you doing this..? I-I did nothing wrong." I tried to explain to the king. King Alister gets up once the guard brings Raven in, "Quiet." He said to me while having a growl. I looked at Raven in worry and fear, "P-Please don't hurt her." I begged the king but she just looked at me with a frown and then looked at the king, "What do you want." She asked the king with her eyes staring straight into the king's face. The king rolled his eyes, "What I want is only simple, I want to see what she can do." He said as he land his eyes on me while the man takes the cuffs off my hands and placed them behind me and cuffed them back. I growled and snarled at the situation.

King Alister then walked to Raven, "So tell me about your connection with this being." He said, Raven then sighed, "I just met her like yesterday. She saved me from those idiots who tried to beat me." She shared. I lowered my head, "That seems to be a bold move for a sorceress but even if you did such a deed your kind is and will never be welcome here." He said while looking at me. He then sets his eyes on Raven, "And as for you, You tried to hide a person who's part of the species this kingdom hates and despises." He said and pulled her hair up to make her face him. I growled, "More like you hate and despise." I said with a beastly tone. I didn't want anything to happen with her. The king then looked at me with an offended face, "How dare you." He said and pushed Raven to the ground making her stumble back, "Do you not know who I am, Demon?!" He said and got into my face, I snarled and growled, "Yeah I know who you are. A king who's so afraid to cut the bullshit with sorcerers when he knows his sucky ass kingdom is gonna become a target sooner or later because of how he's acting towards them." I said with a glow in my eyes as I started to shake from rage.

I stood up growling and yelling, "YOU'LL PAY YOU PATHETIC COWARD OF A KING!!" I said with a roar. My voice was mixed with another but it was a beastly version. The king then stepped backwards, "W-What in the world?!" He exclaimed. I growled and snarled bearing my sharp teeth and a glow started to appear from the mark on my arm along with my eyes in a flame's color. I melted the chains and pulled them off causing them to break, "COME HERE AND BE A KING WHO KNOWS HOW TO BE ONE!!!" I insulted as I roared at his face, I sprinted towards him but he stumbled to his throne and hurried towards Raven with a knife pointed at her neck, "S-Step any closer and you'll watch your dear friend bathe in her own blood you scum!" He yelled. I snarled as my hands started to be lit in bright flames, "Trust me. Do that and I'll make sure to burn this castle to the ground and your precious kingdom will be next but I'll spear you to watch it all go down in ashes." I growled and I noticed him shake in fear of my words and myself.

The king then suddenly yelled, "Ah! I-It burns!" He exclaimed as the knife he was holding started to melt in his hand, "H-How d-did you?!" He exclaimed to me again, His guards and the man who brought me to the coward seemed to have ran away, "Well would you look at that, Your rats of a commander and guards ran away. What now oh glorious King?" I said with a sinister laugh and grin on my face. Raven then backed away from me, I noticed some of her feathers and some parts of her arms were burnt and in flames already, "Tss..Ah, Ow..." She winced in pain. I widened my eyes as I realized I hurt her...dearly...
