7 Chapter 7: We were discovered...

Kaida's pov

After that sprinkle session. I giggled it off and went inside while drying my hair, "So uh can I borrow some clothes?" I asked nervously, "I didn't really bring some of my own." I said to raven when she sprayed us. She smiled and nodded, "Oh sure! here, You can just choose and see if they fit." She pointed at her cabinet and offered. I nodded and walked to eat to see what I could wear. Jason then walked in with his shirt resting on his shoulder and Ignatius laying by the window, "So what should we do now?" He asked us while sunbathing by the window. I looked back holding some clothes. It was just a long sleeve shirt and some pants. I then stretched, "Well we could at least think of a plan." I said and headed to a room to change while Raven was in another room. Ignatius tilted his head, "plan for what?" He asked and just laid down.

Meanwhile, I was about to take my top off and the skirt I had on. I waved my hair around and sighed, "I feel like I just took a bath." I said to myself. I pick Raven's shirt up and looked at it to see if it fits or not. I looked at the clothes. I noticed something with them, "She...She gave me undies?!" I said in my head while blushing. She snuck her undies along with the clothes I got. I looked around and checked if they fit. I blushed madly filling my face with the embarrassing red tint, "These are a little big..." I whispered. I blushed and I heard the doorknob start to move. It was Raven, "Kay? I was just wondering if the clothes fit." I widened my eyes. I was pretty much naked on my top. I yelped and covered my chest, "N-No no! Wait!" I exclaimed to her.

Raven widened her eyes and dropped the cup of water she was drinking, "W-Whoa!! Sorry sorry! I'm sorry!" She said while covering her eyes and blushing. She then shuts the door. I froze, "Well. That just happened." I said in my head.

After a few awkward minutes.

I then walked out to the living room where everybody else was. Ignatius yawned, "So, Child. What plan?" He asked me. I sat down, "A plan for survival. This kingdom has a strict wall against magic and all that stuff and breaking news! I am now one of that side they hate." I explained. Jason nodded, "She's right. She has to control her powers and quick. It might just pop up and the next thing we know we'll have prices on our heads." Ignatius looked at him, "Our?" He asked Jason. Jason nodded, "Well yeah. The king's gonna have us be hunted for not turning her over right away." Jason shared. I nodded, "Thats true. Thats why we need a good plan since they already know about me I think." I said. Raven stretched her wings, "Well we could at least get her to control her abilities just a little bit so she'll at least have an idea how to do it." She suggested.

Ignatius nodded, "The Timber Wing is right." He said. Raven rolled her eyes, "I have a name." She said. Ignatius yawned, "Yeah yeah. Anyways. Kaida." He said to get my attention. I looked at him while playing with some flames on my hands, "Hm?" I hummed curiously. Ignatius looked at my hands, "What the- How did you call the flames out?" He asked noticing I already got flames on both my hands. I shrugged, "Well I'm not really sure. I can't explain it much but it just randomly appears or when it needs to. Well, I think it knows when but I can't control it much." I shared. Ignatius nodded, "Okay but what do you mean by you can't control it much?" He asked. I looked confused thinking of what to say, "Well it's like it has a mind of its own but I can call it out in some situations." I explained.

Raven nodded, "Yeah! Remember when I was in that alley? She looked like she knew what she was doing with it." She shared. I remembered, "Oh yeah! I felt like I was in a certain zone or something." I said to them. Jason thinks, "I agree. It's like she has a certain connection with it when needed?" He suggested. Ignatius thinks, "Maybe when something's happening it ticks at the same time as you do, or it's like it engages in a dance with your soul." He explained. I tilted my head and crossed my arms, "English." I said to him. Ignatius rolled his eyes and sighed, "It's like it begins to have a common ground with you or it becomes you." He explained. I sighed and tried to explain it in my version, "So is it like the 'flame' ticks into chemistry with me?" I asked. He nodded, "Exactly."

I thought about it for a second. So technically I'm not alone in this ability thing. It's like I have to work with someone properly so this could work. Maybe.

I then perked up hearing something getting closer...No no...Someone...And they are not alone. I stood up, "We need to hide. Now." I told everybody. Jason nodded and manages to find a hiding spot. Ignatius turned into a black cat and sits by the window. I go into another room and listen carefully. Luckily there was a small hole where I can peek on what's happening. I heard a knock. Raven stayed back in the living room to talk to them. She opens the door, "Um. Yes?" She asked the people knocking. It was the Royal Guards. I knew it was them the second I smelled their scent.

One of the guards stepped in. Raven looked surprised, "Whoa I didn't let you in, Sir." I heard her say. The Guard then looked at her, "Ma'am, My apologies but we have to search your home." He said and told the others to go around and search. Raven spreads her wings to block them, "Excuse me but you can't just do that. What is this for anyway?" She asked calmly. The guard sighed, "We've got reports of a Sorcerer." He said and stopped to change what he said, "Well, Sorceress. Roaming these streets. We were asked by the king to search for her even here." He stated. I panicked. Raven sighed, "I didn't see who or what you're talking about." She said to the guard. The guard raised his eyebrow, "Really? Well, the local farmers nearby told us you were speaking to some people. A Male, A Creature of some sorts, and a Female who had the same features as the witnesses of the Sorceress described. Tall, Black hair, Looked like a local, and has a black tail similar to a wolf so she could only be part of the Moon Hounds." He stated.

Raven looked nervous. It's as if she was cornered. She then flapped her wings making the door shut, "Now!" She signaled for Jason to come out and help her as they try to subdue the unwanted visitors. I started to panic more as I sit leaned against the door, "T-They'll get hurt because of me..." I said in my head. I peeked again and watched as the two try to hold them back. "Kaida! Run!" Raven yelled out. The Guard then growled, "What are you standing there for?! Find the girl!" He ordered the other guards. They nod and rush to the door I was behind. Raven then pulled the two to stop them from getting any closer and threw them to the wall causing it to collapse and them to fall. The Royal guard who ordered to move them grabbed a vase and shatters it on Raven's head.

I widened my eyes as I watched her fall losing consciousness. I growled and ran outside, "WHY YOU?!" I was and wasn't myself at the same time. As I rush out the door my hands get enveloped in blazing flames and my eyes glowing in the color of fire along with the mark on my arm. I run to the guard that shattered the vase and attempt to give him a punch to the top of the head. He dodges causing my fist to hit the wooden floor. "W-What are you?!" The guard screamed in fear. I grabbed his face without flames on my hand, "I'm the person you're looking for. I'm also the person who'll burn you to hell." I said in rage. Jason fought the others off and one of them hits his shoulder making him drop unconscious as well. I growled and throw the royal guard to the wall.

I grabbed a huge branch and gripped it. The branch started to burn from the inside and out. I yelled like a roar and hit one of them with it, "You'll all pay!" I exclaimed and knock the two out and from the corner of my eye, I saw the Royal guard crawling to escape. I run and grab his neck pinning him down, "You thought you could escape me?!" I roared and pulled my first back ready to punch his lights out. The Royal Guard snarled at me. I could tell he was a Moon Hound too, "Go on! Do it! Show your true colors, you witch!" He insulted and ordered me. I roared again preparing to let my fist sink in his face and burn it off. I stopped for a moment, thinking this was wrong, "This isn't me." I said in my head and just dropped him. He coughed and other guards arrived. They threw a spear at my shoulder. I roared in pain and dropped to my knees as I looked at the guards. The Royal Guard gets up and dusted himself off, "She's done with. We need her alive and take the others." He said.

The glowing in my eyes and on the mark disappeared and so did the flames as I dropped to the floor unconscious. I saw Raven and the others get picked up. I reached out to Raven, "N-No....D-Don't hurt....her..." I said before passing out cold.

Somehow Ignatius wasn't in the room.
