As I held my father figure's fallen body, Philip and Raven came along with other men and tried to take care of the group. They fought back with their swords and bows but they knew how strong Timberwings were so it was a fairly matched fight. I panicked and looked at Elrick's back with arrows and blood everywhere, "H-Hold on!" I said trying to get him up without touching the arrows. Raven turned around and flew over, "Kay! What happened?!" She asked frantically and tried to help us both. I began to shake and my eyes filled up with tears until they overflowed and escape my eyes as I looked at my Father figure's gravely wounded body. He groans and breathes heavily as if his air was limited with every breath he took in, "Kai....da...." He whispered and looked me in the eyes weakly. Raven gently helped him up and used a healing spell, "I don't know much about magic but this should help him for a little while!" She said and carried him away.
